curled up on the couch, you let out a dragged out yawn as you stretched your arms. your eyelids felt heavy, mind fuzzy, yet you felt cold. cold air lightly brushed against you, making you shiver lightly. hypothetically, you could grab the blanket on the floor, but it was so far away. not really.

unknowingly, while you tried to force yourself into sleep, your lovely mama, xiaoting, came into the room, seeing you attempt to cover your bare skin with your arms. she smiled lightly at this, that her lazy baby couldn't get up for not even 7 seconds to get their blanket.

xiaoting picked the soft blanket and draped it over your small, curled up form. the sudden contact made you flinch, but quickly relax back into the couch when you realized it was just your blanket.

you looked up, reaching a hand out to make grabby hands at your caregiver. xiaoting laid down behind you on the couch, spooning you and playing with your hair. this quickly lulled you to sleep, falling off to the dreamland you'd missed.

the sun was shining bright, accompanied by a light breeze. it was the perfect day to go do some fun outdoor activities. your morning was a scenic one, as you woke up particularly early and the sun was rising past the window. birds were chirping, and you could hear that buzzing sound from within the trees.

you had a good morning, you were awoken by your caregiver, bahiyyih, and the two of you decided to take advantage of the weather that day and to walk to the nearby park. it didn't take you long to get dressed all by yourself, which hiyyih was very proud of.

the park was relatively empty, thankfully. usually, the swings were all taken and kids were hogging each slide. they'd probably all come later in the day. you got lucky by coming as early as you did.

"do you want me to push you?" bahiyyih asked, which you nodded very enthusiastically to. she smiled, and began lightly pushing you, as to not startle you by the height. though, you still exclaimed, "higher!" and how could hiyyih refuse you? she gave you a big push, making you go "wee!" as you soar through the air.

soon enough, you got bored of the playground, and insisted you two go back home and relax for the rest of the day. and that you did.

you got the couch ready as bahiyyih made some movie theatre popcorn in the microwave, pillows and blankets everywhere. you'd probably end up getting hot with so much around you, but that's an issue for later.

by the time she came back, you were swaddled up putting on a movie on disney plus. you decided on 'princess and the frog', one you hadn't watched in a while.

to hiyyh's dismay, the popcorn went by fast, which probably wouldn't of if she wasn't grabbing a handful every 5 seconds. you didn't mind, mainly since you were too engrossed in the film to pay any attention.

by the time the film was over, your caregiver was asleep with her arm around you. as the credits played, with a calming song playing in the back, you rested your head onto bahiyyih's shoulder with a smile, hoping every day would be like this.
