i remember when our pokemon gold’s battery first died. it was in our old house, so maybe 2004 or sooner or later, but like, around then. i was playing a pokemon gold save file at the time, and tried booting it up, but my save file was gone. so 6 year old me was like Oh Well That’s Just Weird so i remade a new save file, and then the NEXT TIME i booted it back up, the new save file was GONE AGAIN.

so i brought it to my oldest brother, and was like, okay WATCH, this wont let me keep save files anymore, it keeps deleting them. so i made a new save file, saved it, turned it off, turned it back on again, and the save file WAS STILL THERE. my brother was like. hm. yeah okay sure i believe you. kermitnod.gif

and i was so mad because why did it work the ONE TIME i was trying to show that it wasnt. anyway after that it never kept another save file again LMAO
