It is not easy being a 10-year-old in the rear palace when an emperor in his late 20s showers you attention and presents you sweets that you are made to do his bidding. Especially if that emperor is beautiful. Then one day he ceases to visit you when you turn 14. For him you are too old for his taste.

Take note of the music background. It is called “Thirteen Tales,” composed by Kevin Penkin. It is the story of Taihou (and the other girls who were victims of the former emperor), the woman in the grave and the initiator of the ghost storytelling session. Most of all, she’s Suirei’s grandmother.

I still haven't touched the original game. My only experiences with LOL are KDA, Arcane, other LOL songs, and watching my friends lose their sanity playing the game. I really hope Kevin Penkin is still making the music in season two of the tower of god anime. His music is an absolute masterpiece and the music he makes for tog just fits it so well
