The Boyz Love Reading - November Edition

Note: TBZ coming a little late but there it is ! Also I was wondering if anyone knows If they have a dating ban ? Because most boys have the exact same love restriction energy besides a few members. Anyway, I hope you guy enjoy and please remember to take my words with a grain of salt. 

Sangyeon 

He is currently very single and actually has not even time for himself, so really love isn’t his priority at the moment. Of course he has been thinking about it sometimes but he has way too many responsibilities on his career to have that luxury. Also please watch out for his health that isn’t the best at the moment. He has the tendency to put himself in a second plan and help others when he needs some caring too

Jacob

There’s someone that Jacob likes ( non idol ) however he has no hope that this would even work so he doesn’t take action. That because his career demands way too much of him and he can’t focus on other things. He has been doubting a lot lately about his career, love and life in general. There’s a need of freedom from his side

Younghoon

Slightly different from the others, he is single has well despite having many people that have confessed to him lately. His love opportunity are everywhere but Younghoon isn’t taking any of them as he fears for the repercussion on his career. So like the others he is focused on his work ignoring the fact that he is blocked on his love life

Hyunjae

He has been in a relationship a few months ago but it’s all done now, and he is pretty much focused on getting his balance back on his love life. He isn’t hurt not has be remorses so I believe he was the one ending the relationship. In any case he is focused on his career as well at the moment. 

Juyeon

There’s someone that he likes ( Non idol ) but Juyeon isn’t going further with this crush due to the entrainment pressure (that is why I wonder if there is any dating ban going on). Juyeon is at the moment hurting when it comes to the heart because he had to lie to his crush in order not to see them again and that made him feel pretty much guilty over the whole thing. 

Kevin

Kevin isn’t interested in anyone and he isn’t particularly interested in ove either. The only relationship that matter to him at the moment besides the one on his career , is his family. He misses his family a lot to a point where it leaves him with much sadness and anxiety. 

New

Pretty much like the other members, there is someone that he really likes however he hasn’t been able to see them lately due to his company pressure. He feels very sad and frustrated over the whole thing despite knowing the he needs to focus on his career. Has been thinking about lying in order to meet them since he cannot handle the loneliness.

Changmin

Changmin has secretly been seeing someone under the radar in order not to having to deal with his company or with the repercussions it can have over his professional life. They don’t meet often due to his tight routine and schedule though. He thinks about this person a lot which is also a non idol. 

Juhaknyeon

Juhaknyeon has been slightly luckier than the rest of the member as he is seeing someone however there is also someone in the staff that has been helping him and covering for him. He isn’t dating this person, only learning to know them before he thinks about starting a relationship. 

Sunwoo

Sunwoo is the only one in the group that has a stable and long relationship for a while now and that doesn’t care about the rules or the repercussions that their company has. He is still focused on his work but he just loves his partner way too much to leave them. Also this relationship made some members argue with Sunwoo but the boy really doesn’t care about their opinion on his love life. He loves this person and he doesn’t want to let them go. 

Eric

Eric is single at the moment. He has put a lot of thought on his whole life and he has decided that he needs to focus only on his work/career and not on his love life. So at the moment his love life is closed and Eric is focusing only on his career. He is very balanced and he knows what he wants in life.

SANGYEON

Sangyeon et vous aviez déjà parlé avant cette cérémonie, votre passage dans la même émission avait créé votre rapprochement.

Quand vous aviez de nouveau remporté un prix, Sangyeon vous auriez félicité d'un geste de main avant de rejoindre ses membres pour quitter les lieux.

YOUNGHOON

Quand vous aviez risqué de tomber dû à la hauteur de vos talons, votre cœur avait failli lâché.

Ce que vous ne saviez pas, c'était que le cœur de Younghoon avait aussi raté un battement.

Il aurait fait attention à vous jusqu'à la fin de la cérémonie, même si vous ne risquiez rien de grave.

HYUNJAE

Comme dans toutes cérémonies coréennes, des écrans étaient présents un peu partout dans la salle pour permettre aux spectateurs éloignés de pouvoir voir correctement les artistes.

De temps en temps, les caméras se focalisaient sur certaines idols, les mettants donc en valeur. Cette fois-ci, la camera s'était attardé sur votre groupe et étrangement la position de celle-ci vous m'était extrêmement en valeur.

Quand la caméra était arrivé sur vous, Hyunjae ne pu s'empêcher de fixer la caméra, faisant interroger les fans, sur sa soudaine attention sur celle-ci.

JUYEON

Toutes les idols étaient réunis sur la scène pour clôturer la cérémonie, s'amusant sur la dernière musique de la soirée.

Malgré la présence des nombreuses caméras, Juyeon ne pouvait empêcher ses yeux de faire des petites rotations vers vous. Heureusement la présence d'autres idols, empêcher tous fans disgracieux de créer des rumeurs à propos de vous deux.

KEVIN

Kevin était quelqu'un d'assez confiant de nature, s'entendant avec chaque personne qu'il croisait, alors quand il vous aurait vue dans les coulisses, trophée à la main, il n'aurait pas hésité à vous féliciter pour votre victoire.

« Je pense que vous méritez vraiment ce trophée, félicitations. »

NEW

Vous étiez placé en face de son groupe et comme toutes personnes ayant déjà eues un Crush, il aurait profité de chaque seconde où vous vous trouveriez dans la même pièce que lui, pour vous détailler.

Quand votre regard avait croisé le sien, une gêne aurait envahi vos deux côtés. Lui car il c'était fait prendre et vous pour avoir croisé le regard de celui qui vous regardait depuis le début de la cérémonie.

Q

Changmin avait été fan de votre groupe, plus précisément de vous dès vos débuts, appréciant vos différents concepts, vos musiques, vos chansons, tout en gros.

Cela faisait quelque temps que la fatigue avait gagné Changmin, alors même si la soirée des MaMa était importante pour les idols, chacun des groupes qui avait performé n'avait réussi à le satisfaire.

Vous étiez aussi présent, mais personne ne le savait, votre venue étant était faites à la dernière minute. Quand les premières notes de votre chanson avaient été lancées, Changmin avait tout de suite reconnu la chanson, la fatigue se dissipant le temps de votre prestation.

JUHAKNYEON

Parmi les artistes du monde de la K-Pop, vous faisiez partie de la grande majorité des artistes à faire partie de la communauté « petit » limite très petit en taille. C'était d'ailleurs une des choses qui faisait que Juhaknyon vous appréciez.

Alors quand vous deviez prononcer votre discours, et que pour accéder au micro vous aviez dû vous retrouver sur la pointe des pieds et encore c'était toujours beaucoup trop grand, il n'avait pu s'empêcher de lâcher « Haaan » vous trouvant une nouvelle fois mignonne.

SUNWOO

Vous étiez connu pour être là personne la plus folle de votre groupe, amusant la galerie à chacun de vos passages sans même vous en rendre compte.

Quand la caméra s'était braquée sur vous, et votre seule réaction avait été de vous cacher derrière votre verre, Sunwoo n'avait pu s'empêcher d'éclater de rire , agaçant probablement les membres par la même occasion.

ERIC

Votre groupe était enfin arrivé devant l'énorme théâtre où la GDA* allait se passer. Avant d'y accéder, le tapis rouge était le rituel pour tous les artistes, les journalistes, photographes et fans présents tout autour pour immortaliser les tenues plus belles les unes que les autres des différents idols. Sur le passage de nombreux groupes étaient aussi présents, et bien évidemment les saluer en s'inclinant était une marque de respect obligatoire. Alors que vous vous incliniez pour la millième fois, un regard beaucoup plus insistant vous fit lever la tête par curiosité, vous aviez rencontré le regard d'une jeune idol.

Ça n'avait duré que quelques secondes, mais ça avait été suffisant pour l'ensemble des personnes autour d'immortaliser le moment et créer de nombreuses vidéos sur vous d'eux.

BONUS

HWALL

Silento, célèbre chanteuse du Hit à succès, « Watch Me » avait été invité en Corée pour participer à célèbre Show coréen, les SMA*. Bien évidemment pendant sa prestation, l'ensemble des idols s'est mis à danser, se soulageant de tout le stresse accumulé.

Votre groupe était présent à quelques mètres du sien, et évidemment les yeux de Hwall ne pouvaient s'éloigner de vous. Quand il vous aurait vu vous amuser avec le chanteur, une certaine joie l'aurait envahie et à son tour il se serait détendu s'amusant à son tour.

Finding an absolute dark space is actually hard.

As I sat there; uncomfortably in the criss-cross applesauce position in the small bathroom, I wondered if I would successfully find the matte side, without getting my fingerprints all over the glossy side. Equipped with the This App is a Light Meter app, I went outside trying to find somewhere where there was enough light, as the cold weather wind pushed small snowflakes onto my face. 

Just because I want it doesn't mean I'm going to get it

Methodically placing my camera on top of a table, I got my desired shot. My first ever picture on the pinhole would be great. I would capture the way the sun's bright light interacted with the two trees in my backyard. Making sure to use the app correctly, I got the right time for the "shutter." I brought the lid covering my pinhole camera up, allowing light to enter and hoped for the best. After 15-17 seconds, I shuttered the pinhole, ran back to the bathroom, tried to take out the photo without touching any of its surfaces and tried the process again.

As I arrived at the Carriage House, entered the dark room and began the process of developing my image; conscious of the correct amount of time for each stage, I was confused, angry and upset that my PHOTO WAS NOT THERE! 

In art terms, my first photo was very abstract. The sun against my skin, not too cold, and able to easily get my paper into the pinhole camera, I was confident that this image would be perfect. I would tell Alysia that I was ready to conquer what's next. But as I began to image my photo, instead of perfect, the image was undecipherable. "Do you know Ad Reinhardt? Look him up," Alysia said after showing them my picture.  

I left the lab that day despondent, curious and excited. Despondent because I had followed all the rules. I had sealed the top of the camera, opened my paper in absolute darkness and waited the correct amount of seconds for the shutter. Curious, because Alysia told me that this was the photographic-artistic process. In my pursuit of the perfect picture, I would have to learn to work with my camera, not try to conquer it. I learned that more tape; a lot more tape was necessary to stop light from entering my camera. Excited, because what I saw as failing, Alysia noted as part of the experimentation process. Instead of being told to stop what I was doing completely, Alysia invited me to take more pictures, experiment with location and angle and do by failing, until the paper ran out. (Alysia always had paper to share.)

The sun entering my room was so orange and bright, I thought it was summer. I quickly jolted out of bed, got ready and marched to the Carriage House. Today, I would capture my picture. Lessons I had learned: TAPE EVERYTHING. I taped everywhere from the top of the camera to the sides of the camera to the back of the camera, even the top of the pinhole. With all this tape, my pictures were now coming out a lot better. 

As the sun was still out, I walked around the Art Campus trying to find the right shot. Then, on the second floor of the Carriage House, on the west facing window was the perfect picture, waiting to be taken. I ran back downstairs, loaded paper into my machine and got my timer ready. 

22 seconds later, I ran downstairs, took my paper out of my pinhole camera and began the process. 1.5 minutes later, as my photo had finished the first stage of the process, I flipped my picture and saw it. On the paper was the view of the cemetery, the trees in the background, the tree branches in the foreground and ominous headstones and statues in the middle ground. It was a good picture. I took 3 more, not as detailed as the first, but still good. All in all, the process of capturing 4 pictures lasted 2.5 hours.

Walking amidst the blue hues of the sunset, I was contempt.

"How do I turn the machine on?" I thought to myself as I entered the darkroom. I had watched the YouTube video but I was afraid of breaking my bulb, moving the enlarger head out of place or messing with the focus knob. Do I put my picture in the film carrier? No, that doesn't seem right to me. How do I make sure my timer doesn't go off? Press the last button to the left. How do I change the numbers on my timer from whole numbers to decimals? Click the second to middle button once. 

I had my negative image ready, I was now excited to use the enlarger to get my finished product; my perfect picture (in my eyes). 

At first, I was adamant that my ideal time for the shutter ws 8 seconds, but my picture kept coming out lighter than I wanted. After 2 tries, Alysia told me to do a test strip. After doing my test strip, I got the right number for my image. For my image of the west-facing view of the cemetery, my aperture is 8 and I shine light on the image for 13 seconds. The final product, shown above, demonstrates that I know how to take an image with a Pinhole camera, process my image and successfully use an enlarger. 

Who would have guessed that I would be able to conquer the paper camera? I didn't. Only through continued support, guidance and mentorship was I able to make this picture. Karina, Soule and especially Alysia helped me when I was navigating the different parts of this process.

I feel excited for the crit with Alsyia, thankful for everyone who helped me and especially grateful to Alysia for nurturing my creativity and dedication to making mistakes.
