I am happy that you like my portrayal of Shanks so much, especially since I was apprehensive to write him in the first place. We only get glimpses of him in the manga/anime after all, so it's hard to start when you write, simply cause there are so many layers to him that are left unexplained.

And I utterly adore your Buggy as well. I have so much fun writing their dynamic. The familiarty when it comes to their banter, despite not having seen each other for over twenty years. I'll happily keep the sticker and put it on my fridge.

It's the knock at the door that finally snaps him back into something resembling alertness, pushing his new books shut and scrubbing the back of one hoof across his eyes.

He cuts himself off with a yawn.

Actually, he's pretty sure Kureha had been so heavy on the 'read and memorise' technique as a way to keep him quiet and out of the way for several hours, but... Well, there was no denying its effectiveness. He'd bled the Drum Castle library dry, reading everything in there cover to cover until he could recite it backwards, and it'd certainly taught him a lot about medicine!

Still, though, his reading will be there in the morning, and pulling an all-nighter would not be conducive to memory. Sanji's right: he needs to rest.

                     ❝ I'll go to bed soon, ❞ he promises, butting his head up towards the pat as he pulls the tray closer. With no thieving rubbery hands hanging around to snatch things from his plates, he's free to actually take his time instead of trying to cram everything in at once, and he pauses between bites to throw out a question.

Her face was bright red at the implications. Tashigi can't even believe in what the Straw Hat cook had just said to her like this. First of all, she isn't capable of making any type of eye contact, save for a glare. Second, she can't understand why there was common knowledge in the way she interacts with a fellow swordsman and why people needed to keep reminding her of such things.

"What the hell is wrong with you?". Is this a punishment for liking that comment about the cook's tie and the implications along with it that he chose to bring something like this up at the moment? Even Nami's statements were less crude than Sanji's right now. Tashigi, having a thing for Zoro? Ridiculous! She had an interest in his swords, not the man himself. Gazes were more towards Wado and the rest than anything else.

Of course, that could have double meaning too about the swords if someone wanted to press the issue and tease her even more. Just what was going on today? "Have you seen who I hang around with? I don't have a lot of choices now do I? .....I mean, stop making fun of me!!". Whoops, now it was somewhat in the open. Hope no one heard what she had just said and didn't have a field day with this.

OTP for your muse?

I have fallen down the ZoSan rabbit hole for Sanji, I just love everything about it and I have so many ideas for them which I hopefully will bring forward in threads to them in the future. If there is a Zoro who is willing, of course. For now, I will stick with putting them into the fanfics that I plan to write.

Favourite trope?

Ooh I have a few that are my favorite, but angst is obviously my first choice because of all the emotions and feels that will come with it. I enjoy AUs as well, my favorite from those would have to be anything that follows cultivation, fantasy, or apocalypse type setting.

How do you overcome writer’s block?

I have a few different ways to deal with my writer's block especially in terms of me being a fanfic writer. I either look at prompts, music, or sometimes I go over my old fanfics to see if I can gain some inspiration from those. Or scenes from my favorite series that can help get ideas going.

Obviously,  Ace  and  Sanji  are  like  one  of  my  favourite  ships  ever.  The  second  I  saw  Ace  lighting  his  cigarette  and  the  way  Sanji  cared  for  him  to  not  trouble  himself  since  he  was  a  guest  at  the  Merry.  Normally  you  don't  expect  that  kind  of  hospitality  from  pirate  ships,  while  yes  obviously  Ace  is  Luffy's  brother  so  it  felt  right  it  was  just  mere  washing  dishes.  It's  not  like  a  crown  would  drop  off  Ace's  head  if  he  helped  but  Sanji  regardless  wished  for  Ace  to  relax  and  feel  special.

Thing  is  Sanji  is  so  kind,  so  so  kind.  He's  the  kindest  soul  despite  the  cruelty  he  had  to  go  through  and  Ace  ?  He  was  raised  believing  that  he  doesn't  deserve  kindness  because  he's  born  evil,  with  bad  blood.  He's  a  devil  child.  Sanji  treating  Ace  with  the  gentleness,  feeding  him  not  only  with  food  but  the  love  that  Ace  never  could  really  reach  is  beautiful,  makes  the  heart  open  to  notice  something  that  was  blurred  by  the  anger  and  grief  lingering  over  Ace's  life  you  know  ?  Sanji  is  a  giver,  like  he  wants  to  give  his  love  and  Ace  is  receiving  it  and  finally  opening  his  eyes  to  how  it  feels  to  be  held  with  care  not  with  shackles  in  the  prison,  not  with  the  bindings  of  his  own  lineage.  

Sanji  breaks  so  many ��chains  within  Ace  by  inviting  him  to  his  love  kitchen  it's  honestly  insane  to  explore.  I  could  talk  hours  about  them,  about  the  way  they  are  similar,  about  how  they  mutually  understand  each  other  without  needing  words  and  how  patient  they're  towrads  each  other.  God  if  Luffy  didn't  find  Sanji  first  Ace  would  be  the  first  to  steal  him  away  cuz  a  gem  like  Sanji  in  his  life  ?  Seems  like  a  blessing.

Grump x Sunshine Starters

   An off hand comment because for once Law isn’t the one that looks like death warmed up. Well, not true. He does. He always does, but the Straw Hat cook is looking particularly shit today. He’d made the comment just to stir the guy and it seemed to work. He’s meeting Sanji’s glare with some amusement as the cook snaps at him. Law huffs after that, his amusement fading.

   “Fine, whatever. Just take your off day elsewhere,” the doctor says, arms crossing over his chest. “Got no desire to deal with you bein’ all emotional or whatever the fuck this is.”

  A complete truth. Trafalgar Law doesn’t have the energy or temperament to be someone’s shoulder to cry on. Especially when that person isn’t a member of his crew. If the cook has a medical issue then maybe he’d help. More likely he’d teleport the guy into Chopper’s infirmary and be done with it. Law isn’t one to waste his energy on those in need of help, not unless he can get something out of it.

Sanji's sneezes, albeit involuntary as all others, may very well be a declaration of belligerent intent; a campaign against that rule of both social etiquette and the simplest medical guideline, that sneezes ought to be contained in some kind of handkerchief or, in the absence of a square of fabric, projected sideways over a shirt or coat sleeve. 

Law budged his body in a direction paralell to that of Sanji's expulsions, avoiding the rain of mucus in one suave step of his heeled boot. Some of the droplets coursed not just forwards into the open space, but downwards as well, splashing translucent over the cook's shirt, leaving behind tiny dots of wetness like a more revolting morning dew. He eyed them with distaste.

❝ Oh, yes.❞ He commented with a twisted nose and a more than deserved scowl. Though the glower set on his features as an unavoidable response to Sanji’s bold declaration, it quickly bloomed into a triumphant smirk, this expression so much more his. There was a certain grace to handling an affront with articulate mordacity in lieu of physical effort, and persuasion fit him like the proverbial glove. ❝ The very portrait of masculinity you are, what with your puffy, red eyes and shirt covered in nasal matter. An astonishing example of maleness no woman can refuse; I’m sure your navigator would agree. ❞

Bravado aside, Law did empathise with Sanji, as only befitting of a doctor in regards to a patient. In a tone of voice devoid of derision, so much so it sounded mellow by comparison, he added with professional worry, ❝ You don't have asthma, do you, Black Leg? ❞ All tomfoolery would cease at once should the patient bear the respiratory condition, and all feline visitors would have to be removed from the ship’s premises until Sanji’s organism cleared of allergens.

Mors, who had been sniffing the floorboards of the Sunny with the dedication of the chief-mouser he was — either not understanding his contract to be exclusive to the submarine and the jumpsuited crew, or too career-driven to get himself concerned over the human viewpoint of ownership — leapt into Law’s arms, causing Kikoku to waltz perilously for a moment before Law could catch both sword and cat. Mors purred, satisfied both with the result of his inspection and with his new position in Law’s arms. He stared at Sanji, green eyes flickering yellow in the direct sunlight, not too unlike Law's amber-turned-gold irises.

❝ Of course, you could wait for the reaction to pass once its cause has been removed. That’s what a virile man would do. ❞ Roronoa’s type, Law nigh advanced so as to further rile up his interlocutor. But a quick assertion of the Sunny’s current situation, with Mors and Nami’s fostered cats onboard, sufficed for an astute man to know Sanji’s allergies would be plaguing him for a while longer. His smarter choices were to either stow himself away from the bean-pawed guests or take some antihistamine and partake in everyone’s company.

Mors's eyes narrowed into slits. Looking into them, one could not help think the cat resented Sanji's allergies to a deep, personal level. He was a competent predator, a creature of independence who stalked the darkness. But he was also a very much coddled replacement for a more intimate companion his human of choice did not have as well. Thus, Mors was spoiled, and couldn’t fathom why anyone would not adore him. Or so he would, if cats shared the same psyche humans did.

❝ But seeing as you are the chef of the ship,❞ Law continued, cradling arms buffeted by the swishing of Mors’s tail, ❝ I won't risk you contaminating us all by sneezing into our luncheon. ❞ A practicality, yes, as well as a courtesy. It was not like Sanji’s suffering amused him — perhaps it did, the tiniest bit.

Speaking of exposure to infectious substances. Mayhap corrupted by the whimsical atmosphere which the Straw Hats bred and maintained, Law's hands locked under the cat’s front legs, holding them out as though they were arms. Very patiently did Mors allow Law his theatrics, his soft belly exposed and tail hanging in lazy circular motions. Law then puppeteered Mors’s spotted legs like a child would move their arms from beneath a white sheet in the manner of a ghost for a practical joke. The phantom of susceptibility to offer some help.

Yes, mostly for my Tony Stark muse, cause I've written him for the longest time and therefor had the most time to develop them for him. But I am more than willing to write AUs for my other muses as well, cause I think they could be very fun.

Yes totally! I love that half of the crew can come together and discuss Zoro with her. It's really sweet that Sanji thinks she should be the ones to have the swords but I don't think Enma would react too kindly to Tashigi, even though they have a similar color scheme. lol.

Anyways, I'm up for that if you are. ^^
