The Coastal Collection - Part Two

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Its been a labour of love during the shorter month of February, but I'm excited to finally be able to share the second instalment of the Coastal Collection! This part focuses in on the Coastal outdoors. There were so many build items that I wanted to include in part one, that I actually decided to dedicate an entire extra month to get all the items on the original list...I still didn't achieve the goal, but I came pretty close!

The highlight of the month for me was the creation of the playhouse. It took 5 days to complete from start to finish, but I was so happy with the end result and its just one of those once in a lifetime items that shall never be repeated again, so its worth putting all that effort into.

There are quite a few items that do have pack requirements this month as there are mostly activity items for you toddlers, kids and soon to be introduced infants. The Sand Pit works just like a rug and can be placed anywhere you wish. Sand can be painted on the terrain to add the functionality of a real sand pit if you own the Island Living EP or if you only have Base Game it can be a great decorative piece for story telling. The Playhouse requires Dream Home Decorator as it works just like the play tent that was introduced in that pack. Lastly the Fire Pit requires Outdoor Retreat for full functionality.

You can find the majority of the items by searching COASTAL in the BB catalogue, however these will not show the column & 2 wallpapers that are included in the set.

I just had a dream of the QSMP Death Family all together on Halloween and it was the cutest thing ever! Even Missa was there! All the players had temporary in the same neighborhood so that they could trick or treat easier and I think some of the eggs and players were wearing Halloween costumes??? The houses were small and cozy, kinda reminded me of those outdoor playhouses for kids but bigger, very cute. Best dream I've had in a while

Lovin’ the colorful decor in this 1926 home in New Braunfels, Texas. ($1.695M)

It’s a Tudor Revival style and still has the fireplace w/the built-in bookcases of the period.

They made a sitting area in the enclosed breezeway, which is nice. 

Love this bright blue retro kitchen. 

The cabinets look original, with new brass hardware. That stove, though!

Nice little eating area in front of the windows. This could look even better - needs to be zhuzhed up. 

A lot of people like a main floor main bdrm.

And, it has a very nice en suite.

Here, they made a large bedroom out of the sunporch, which I would put back to a sunporch. 

Like how they gave the bedrooms names up here. Must be the kids’ names.

This bedroom and en suite is lovely.

And, here’s another nice bedroom. House has been well-cared-for, and at least it has color. 

This is beautiful- a balcony on the 2nd fl. Across the way is another, smaller home on the property.

Isn’t this beautiful? Could be a guest house or a rental.

What a great little place.

Very nice outdoor space, and it looks like this cute little crooked playhouse comes with it, too. Very nice.

- the volunteers/staff that would do fun stuff and tell us stories

- walking through the hallway after school

- award ceremonies

- going to the book fair after school

- the accessories section of the book fair
