Hey guys, I've been debating on officially making this post but I owe you guys an explanation for my disappearances and lack of game updates. Killswitch will be on hiatus until further notice. I won't bore you all with the gritty details but some things irl have become increasingly taxing to the point where it's taking a massive toll on my mental and physical health. I apologise for the lack of content and art but I also don't want to half-ass the project and rush it just for the sake of progress. Like, did Clove do something to earn Phisc's ire? Or was it just a case of him rubbing her the wrong way? Or is she jealous that he's the boss's favourite?

And should I even ask what she and Clove do?

Now that I have a clearer picture on how Killswitch will play out I think it's safe to share this since it's not an actual spoiler just extra lore lol

SO Clove is a nuisance to Phisc to put it simply. He's never slighted her but she views him as inferior, inexperienced, sloppy and she is often left to pick up the slack which leaves feelings of resentment, as if she's babysitting and less like she's mentoring (which she refuses to call it that LOL).

As for their gig, Phisc is a bodyguard of one of the most notorious crime lords in the underground "The Black Lotus" AKA Alethea. Clove doesn't hold an official title in the syndicate but Alethea is intrigued by him and his silly obsession. so in return for helping him find his lost "rabbit" he serves her, indefinitely :3

Phisc would be confused at first def since she lives under a rock and doesn't understand good quality memes (A SHAME REALLY) so you'd have to explain it to her and then the moment was ruined. But hey! you live to see another day and have another shot to rizz her up 😎👉👉

Clove is deceptively sweet in the demo. I've read the content warnings, and seen the kind of art you repost, so know what (potentially) to expect from Killswitch. On to your question; I have multiple endings mapped out ranging in difficulty but as far as survival difficulty goes I'd gage it mid. I want players to have a fun but challenging time figuring out how to survive but not make it so frustrating that all enjoyment is lost!

Killswitch is a passion project that will be free so I don't have any deadlines for myself. It will take a while as I only work on it between my full time job and things going on IRL. It will come around at its own pace, don't you worry!
