I wish the fandom would stop fatshaming me. As much as I am an AU kin, it still hurts immensely to see my canon self get bashed for her weight and she is still not as big as I am. It is sad and I feel like the fandom is constantly full of quarreling among the g1 and g3 fans. I don't understand the divide, but whatever is the reason I choose not to be a part of it anymore. It's a really shit move their doing and I can completely understand the discomfort, I tell others not to tag my Ula posts as kin / id / me because to me it's like others using my own face as a claim. /genuine, lighthearted

Well. We are a collective apparently. It is extremely strange to us because we all thought we were literally just Laura. However I suppose that is not the case, we just present as "alternate personalities" because we are median.

Rest assured I am still Draculaura. That's not going anywhere, however it is extremely strange. Laura still identifies as fictionkin as well, however there is also us (Frankie and I), who stem from its fictionkinnity.

I found out I was Ula when a vampire kinshift suddenly had earrings. It was very strange, and then I got my first memory but, I forgot it again.

I think Ula always was my vampire kintype and I just didn't find out until later. The memories I had as the vampire weren't exactly really safe to talk about but they were there. Ula's appearances don't really always stay the same in my memories but because she's a versipire.

I'm not sure if this is on the same vein or anything but I do weirdly have two fictotypes of Draculaura. D-Lo is a psychological kintype and is supposed to be the canonical Draculaura, however she deviates slightly with appearance and sexuality. D-Lo is a "lower" kin, meaning she isn't as strong as a fictotype as let's say Ula or even Frankie, but she's there!

Oh, huh! I think the time I figured out I was a Fictokin of Lance is when I randomly had memories of the Blue/Red lion, and Yorak whenever I had memories about the blade of malmoras, but not many from Yorak besides hearing memories (I’m pretty sure he was blind)

Only memories I have is my Godkin type, My kintypes of Lance and Keith, my otherkin type (which I will refrain from talking about), and my vampire self. Most are from my god and the kintypes, though ^^

I have roughly 2 of my Voltron ones, 2 being sort of close to Canon but the other 2 (which are closer to me) being I think of an AU? I don’t know exactly. I’m connected to the red and blue lion too, not exactly to the black lion cause I don’t have anything about him or feel any connection to it, so I don’t think I used to pilot the black lion or remember anything about it.

As fictionkin (or spiritual kin in general), your past lives don't need a timeline that makes sense. For me, my soul is made into many parts. Ula is my main fictotype and in my life as her, I had a wife.

I had another past life, as Francesca. Francesca lived around the same time Ula did, and were from the same universe. Their lives were concurrent. They lived at the same time. However died different times.

Essentially; I am fictionkin of both of them and they were married in their past lives. Does that make sense now? /nbr, not passive aggressive

Ula... This one was interesting. Draculaura has been my special interest since the end of 2022 I believe. That was around when I awakened as nonhuman, but mainly bat therian. Months later I figured out I was a vampire and the main characteristics of that was the phantom shift for long, pointy ears.

..December last year, I had the vampire ears show up. But they were different. They had earrings. Which wasn't usual. I could get a mental mapping of them. They wrapped around the ear lobe and were a purple metal. I didn't know why that happened and at first I thought it was a cameo shift.. Until I started questioning more and promptly freaked the fuck out. At that time I had barely little clue as to what a fictionkin was. I think rather quickly after that I got my first memory, and.. There she was. Ula. I ended up drawing her face due to the memory and it felt like I was staring at myself through a mirror. (At one point, I had confided in my friend about this, and my friend told me that he had this feeling I was her. He had that feeling months before I even knew. It was strange.)

I've been questioning a few kins lately (Ralph [from the movie Rampage], a Monster High ghoul [cant tell which one], and a bunch of others that I haven't been able to name yet.) its.. a bit confusing, judging by how we don't really have any memories of them. we just look at them and go, "yup that's me." but I think it's... more than that. like the soul-connection with our wolf/monster side, yet a bit faded. it's an intricate balance for us, although we haven't put much thought into it. (way too busy with obsessions and the like /hj, lh, silly)

i think its a great idea to make mood boards that center around how u were in ur universe! i dont rlly know ab suggestions cuz idk much ab moster high n all, but you could do vampire lore (obvi) but like. the rlly gory/horrific ones. the ofs that stole children in the night or wtv. if you wanted to you could try doing boards centered around the traditional vampires of different countries, ive read a bunch if different ones and its all the same basic idea but never rlly the same thing, its pretty interesting! (idk if that would be offensive to those cultures tho, i have no idea what is and isn’t considered appropriate im sorry 😭)

Honestly sometimes I feel it is like.. Idk. I don't know but mayhaps like a double standard depending on theriotypes sometimes. I see a popular canine therian post or dragon post or vampire post and it gets so much notes! But if a lesser popular theriotype/kintype like a bat or a horse or something makes the same kind of post it will never reach the same popularity. It is sad to me. I don't like it. I, in all honesty, don't even post my vampire kin posts because.. I don't talk about being a vampire I talk about being Ula D! And only then do those get traction if I put the vampire tags on them. I mean, to be fair it's understandable with Ula D, but I also know I'd get more traction if I used fandom tags and there is certainly no way I am doing that.

If I am your friend there is a chance still that the others are not. Ula is our prosecutor and anger holder, he takes a bit to "warm up" because he gauges who gets respect from her.
