Exactly how I feel, well said!

Replaying Kingdoms of Amalur after YEARS and I had forgotten how much I LOVE fighting with Faeblades and Chakrams. I add: how much I LOVE the concept of the faeblades. It is so much fun to turn around rainning death on everyone like I'm some kind of human spinning top. Gold.

Also, story wise? The concept of the Fae and their cycles and fate and so on in the universe is so... Well done and gorgeous? Yeah it is changing but still! Like the House of the Ballads and the Tellings and when we think that At Some Point in the Past these Tellings hadn't happened yet but now they are so integral to their worldview... It is well done. Very well done.

Also the world is amazing and I had forgotten how damn pretty and inspiring the fae places are. I want to enter the game and sink in the waters of the City of Ysa. I want to paint while in the House of Ballads. I want to sit and just Exist in the numerous old places of their people.

Just... Damn I had forgot how much I loved this game the first time I played.

i'm going back to finish my kingdoms of amalur playthrough on pc and gods this game is just... so stellar. i can't believe how INSANELY underrated it is like omg?? the combat?? the graphics??? the STORY???? INCREDIBLE. and it was still gorgeous when i first played it on xbox 360 years ago but now i have re-reckoning and just. holy fucking shit. i love everything about this game.

Actually putting these two side by side is both weird and pleasing

I played Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning back when I was saving up to get a ps5 to play bg3, the random character Syvin I slapped together for it grew on me, partially because I just had a great time with it and partially because the way I played him fit the story really well without knowing anything about it lol second bg3 playthrough I decided to put Syvin through the bs and have the idea of koarr as his background

He’s been living in my head rent free and he has his own personal background now and all that stuff but the original concept of him from koarr is still so much fun

I have opinions on lockpicking minigames now

the big one being if your fucking lockpicking minigame is based on tiny squeaky click noises I don't care how fucking good your fucking soundtrack is, the music needs to fucking shut up
