A Clashing of the Beasts!
I put these images together in photoshop for fun to raise awareness (as if it’s a charity event, bringing people together to fight the reigning hordes of magical undead...heh ) for my zombie/hockey fantasy novel that’s inspired by the Freeway Rivalry between the LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks. My homage to the rivalry is evident in the team names that represent my apocalyptic hockey squads: The Los Angeles Priests and Anaheim Hellhounds. The book takes two semi-professional hockey teams and throws them in the midst of a New Hell on Earth and pits undead-meathead against undead-(or otherwise)-meathead. Comedic, obviously, but not necessarily a comedy. It’s a dark-fantasy, action-adventure ripe with gore and mouthy jocks, demon beasts and magically-charged undead. Find out more about the novel and how you can get your clammy hands on the exclusive Pure Art edition on my website --> BLOODMAGIK.COM <-- while this limited-to-500 edition is still in stock.
As for the photos, I choose my dudes Kyle Clifford and Kevin Beiksa to represent my vision. Cliffy backs down to no man and Beiksa is known as the only hockey player in history with an on-ice, superman knockout punch. (Seriously...look this guy’s fights up. It’s nuts how he lays dudes out.) With these two beasts watching your back, the sky’s the limit...and the ice may as well be your enemy’s graveyard. Whether or not they come back depends on you...

Turcs and Hughes sibling sneaking around at the lake house? Plz
“Shut up, you’re so loud” You giggled, smacking a hand onto Alex’s mouth as he laughed loudly behind it. “You’re going to wake them up”
“No I’m not, relax” He smirked, flopping down on top of you, causing the bed to squeak a little which made you smack him again. “Jeez if you we have to be silent you shouldn’t have invited me in here” You rolled your eyes.
“I did not invite you” You scoffed while Alex laughed.
“Okay babe, keep telling yourself that” He settled down next to you on the bed, finally putting an end to the noise.
He was right though, while you technically didn’t invite him in tonight, the past week of him sneaking into your room once everyone else was asleep was more than enough of an invitation. “Quinn’s a light sleeper, be quiet”
“Quinn is down the hall. Jack’s next door and lucky for us, he sleeps like a log” You took a minute before caving, never being able to stand against Alex.
…
“Can you go get the speaker? It’s inside somewhere” Luke asks and you nod, scraping your chair back on the deck before heading inside. You hear the door open and shut behind you and then feel Alex’s arms wrapped around your body.
“Get off, they’re gonna see” You try to shrug him off, only really using minimal effort because you don’t really want him to move.
“Babe, don’t worry” Alex said lazily and you could tell that he was already a little drunk.
The back door opened so you pushed him away, hard enough that he stumbled back, not prepared for the sudden movement.
“What’s taking so long?” Jack asked as he walked in, taking in the sight of you and Alex standing a fair distance apart, both looking like you were just caught.
“I just came in here, calm down” You said to your brother as you grabbed Luke’s speaker. “I didn’t know I was being timed” Jack rolls his eyes when you push past him to go back out to the backyard.
…
“Should we tell them?” Alex asks one night when you’re once again, laying in your bed.
Your head jerks up to look at him, “Tell my brothers?” Alex nods. “Do you have a death wish?” It wasn’t that they were your brothers but their friend group had a weird rule about sisters and ex’s, it seemed ridiculous for you but Quinn swears it prevents drama.
“No I just… I don’t want to have to sneak around anymore” Alex said quietly as he played with your fingers as a distraction.
“Okay”
“Okay?” He was expecting a little more push back from you. “That’s it?”
“If you want to then we can, I’m not scared of my brothers” You shrugged. The fact that Alex thought this was important enough that you had to tell your brothers about it made you giddy but you didn’t want to reveal that.
“You’ll protect me if Jack comes after me?” He asks with a laugh.
“Always”
