Today is Kirby 64's 25th anniversary! I wasn't aware of that when I sketched this yesterday but it's a funny coincidence all the same. It's the game that introduced my favorite boss, Zero Two!

A little concept art for a Galacta Knight + 02 combo. They are both some of my favourite boss fights and they both evoke a sort of fallen angel vibe in distinctly different ways. I tried to make the horns look like a halo, I’m not sure how that comes across but I like it regardless.

It’s hard to see with the angle, so here’s a little bonus drawing of the design on the shield:
