LADY SCIENTIST FROM DRAGONAUT

How I feel about this character I love Kitajima and I'm dually ashamed of my love for her. She's a terrible scientist stereotype in an awful boob anime that features fucking space dragons. I mean, there's not a lot going for her when you think about it, is there? Yet there are facets of her character I adore. Her desire for scientific recognition, her need for respect, the way she won't let anything stop her from pursuing her dreams. Plus the boobs. I cannot look away.All the people I ship romantically with this character In the anime obviously Yonamine. They have a fucking horrible relationship that I can't see either of them ending. Especially without Jesus Dragon in her life. I like the way they fight idk. In the manga I'd say Nanami all the fucking way. THEY COULD GO SHOPPING FOR PERFUME TOGETHER FOREVER. AND SOMETIMES THERE WOULD BE SPACE DRAGONS. No dudes in the manga woo.My non-romantic OTP for this character Kitajima's relationship with Nozaki was essential for the development of both characters. They really did care about each other and the future of both their species, but romantic attraction was never at the core of their resonance. In saying that, I don't think Nozaki was the best scientific mentor for Kitajima. He stifled her and constantly made her doubt herself, but they overcame this when she realised she'd crafted him. And y'know in the end he used his dragon cancer to help save her planet idk. V. important relationship guyz.My unpopular opinion about this character I LIKE HER IN THE FIRST PLACE SRSLY.One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. I'd have loved an epilogue showing where she ended up after the Dragonocalypse was averted. In particular I would have enjoyed seeing her back in a lab or, failing that, being a terrible super spy w/Yonamine.
