Hey Zoe, are you thinking about doing a Kitty Noire redesign?

(Sorry for the English, I'm using the translator)

Technically I've already done an original Cat!Zoé design, but here we'll take some inspiration from canon. So, consider this one if they'd slid Kitty Noire over to me to make some design changes.

Much like Scarabella I don't anticipate Kitty Noire making an appearance anytime during the course of my re-write. Especially since Zoé is so much younger. But here is a glimpse at Teen Zoé helping out Uncle-Noir by filling in on his day off. I plan to do official designs for teen Zoé later, so expect to see her again along with Vesperia.

Right so I usually tend to avoid posting anything involving spoilers for the show buuut given the new leak featuring Zoe's cat design... I decided to give her a redesign.

Scarabella and Kittynoire from that one scene in their episode but with my redesigns. I decided to give kitty her green hair back because she deserves it. Couldn’t be bothered to draw the background, maybe someday.

Respectfully the best thing I’ve ever made.

Kitty Blanche, my lord and saviour. I feel like I am way too invested in remaking this silly little show I watched as a kid in my head because of how disappointed I have been in it in the recent years.

The recent special though? That was a serve.

Also I have no idea how I did this but I managed to make my background colour exactly match the tumblr darkmode background… sorcery?

so I tried to improve her a bit, I didn't want to go far from canon but maybe fix a few things that I know everyone complained about lol

I freaking hated her vesperia design so I kinda redesigned it :p

So in process of making a page of Chat Noir’s but thought I’d explain and get some help here so I don’t messy up the actual post. I’ll go through each Chat I have included and a little about them and ask for some suggestions of different names or another Chat to include.

From left to right, top to bottom.

Chat Noire- Genderbent Chat Noir

Chat Night (better name please suggest)- Miraculous if it turned you into the animal. A cat with a smoky quality. Adrien would first dress in a homemade Chat Noir get-up and then transform so he could switch between forms in battle without revealing his identity. He can be as small as a regular cat and as large as a house. Gets distracted by mice frequently mid-battle.

The Dashing/Daring Black Cat- English Adrien and a vigilante. A Robin Hood type figure who faces the Red Knight. Of course she soon becomes smitten with his charming antics and eventually switch’s to the side of the rouge, becoming the Ladybird

Kitty Noir- Zoe with the miraculous. Gave her a pony tale because I wanted to

Lord Cattus (please suggest names)- Felix with the miraculous if he was going full morally grey antagonist mode and not masking as Chat Noir. Sort of regal and dangerous, even if he used his powers for good. He would totally act like Batman, all broody and dark. I’m really conflicted on his name because I wanted to go Ancient Greek for cat but that word is already tied up in something…… else

Plagg- Favourite boy

Dark Claws (name suggestions?)- Nino with the cat miraculous. A situation where he’s permanent holder, alongside Alya as Ladybug. Very anti-establishment and uses his power a little irresponsibly. Nino is the type of dude who shouldn’t have such a destruction power, it’s in his nature to protect so he’s fiercely loyal to Scarabella and very reactive. Liable to fall down a dark path. Or Adrien gives it to him one day for the goofs and they terrorise Ladybug

Ears on his hood, a cropped hoodie with a turtle neck underneath and loose jogger style pants. Debating on dropping the mask and giving him black circular glasses (since miraculous hide identity anyway with magic buffering)

Kitty Noir's cannon design in miraculous is um.... horrendous

Like girl what is this. WHAT IS THAT LIPSTICK!???

So I have her a redesign! ^^

My initial ideas were to change the hair, remove the lipstick (which I did do in the end), give her bangs with two long pieces at the side, and short hair on the back (seen in all the face sketches and the big sketch to the left)

She reminded me of a biker too, so I tried to go for that sorta vibe with a leather jacket. Everything really fell into place when I did the tiny sketch on the bottom and put her hair up!

Here's the final result!!!

There's def things to be improved but I like it a lot better than the canon design. I might experiment more with her hair down...

The main things I didn’t like with the original design was the weird placement of the yo-yo, the many different spot sizes, and the color palette.

Scarabella redesign.

The bright red was not good against alyas skin tone so I made the red a more cool more muted red.

I gave the suit more segmented parts to be more insect like and I removed the weird little shorts.

Her hair gave me the most problems since I could not figure out what I wanted to do with it. I didn’t want the scarf because the spots so close to the spots of the mask was too busy and they were also different sizes from the spots on the mask and the spots on the suit. I tried making it black but didn’t like it so I just got rid of it and gave her two low buns.

Something I felt was missing from scarabella design was blue. Ladybug had blue eyes and blue hair that is in a shape resembling wings. I wanted to give scarabella some wing details so I have her some wings on her feet and some hair accessories that look like a ladybug in flight.
