Bohun this, Skrzetuski that, Kmicic my ass but why is nobody talking about Książe Jeremi Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki? Don't you see the unlimited dilf potential here? The long hair? The moustache? The power he holds? The terror he ignites in Cossacks? The sick ass outfit? The way he's serving cunt? Dude literally stands next to Vlad The Impaler, vibing as he's impaling his enemies and everybody is what? Sleeping on him. Y'all are sleeping on him.

My three ultimate favourite characters from Henryk Sienkiewicz’s Trylogy since the day when I read the books for the first time:
Prince Jeremi Wiśniowiecki
Andrzej Kmicic
Prince Bogusław Radziwiłł
This list still stands after so many years. :)
The same applies to the movies.
Funnily enough, I don’t have any favourite character from “Pan Wołodyjowski”. I don’t like this part of the Trilogy.

Here I present three bookmarks which I drew as gifts last year. As you can see, they depict two characters of Henryk Sienkiewicz’s „With Fire and Sword”: Jurko Bohun and Jan Skrzetuski.
Many readers of “With Fire and Sword” are divided into two groups: fans of Skrzetuski and lovers of Bohun. 😊 No wonder, it is a natural reaction based on characters’ description and events mentioned in the book.
Neither of them is my favourite character in the book. 😉 Since I read the book for the first time, my heart has belonged to Kniaź Jarema! 😍
For non-Polish speakers, Kniaź Jarema = Jeremi Wiśniowiecki, Prince of Vyshnivets, Lubny and Khorol. He was a controversial person. One of the best Polish-Ruthenian leaders, he was hated by the Cossacks for obvious reasons.
Of course, I support Ukraine’s independence but I find it quite poignant that Lubny and Kyiv (!) were then a part of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Ze as John Snow the grand prince (knyaz*) of Kiev. It was one of Vasya’s dream visions. His appearance was quite funny here. He looked like a rock star. :D Luckily enough, in the reality Holoborodko escaped the fate of the knyaz.
*Hey, how to transliterate “князь” in English? I love the sound of this word! In both Ukrainian and Polish. “Kniaź” mainly reminds me of Prince Jarema, tho. ;)
