A great night last night, Oct. 5th for #teambackbayboxing, @msaliceliao and @snapsbydaph as we ventured into the @haymakers4hope world. Congrats to all the #bellesofthebrawl on your fantastic #fundraising achievements. Congrats to all the #fighters. Enjoy the well deserved rest. Again, thanks to all who assisted us along the way to help prepare the girls for the night and thanks to all the amazing members of #backbay #boxinggym for turning out in force to support this great cause. As the night drew to a close I couldn't but recollect that only 8 weeks ago at #mediaday both our fighters had never been in a ring before and asked the question 'how do you get into the ring?' Last night they looked like they'd been in the ring for years! Dziś po raz pierwszy trochę o przyrodzie w Chorwacji. Mogłabym się rozpisać o wszechobecnych figowcach (o niedojrzałych owocach jeszcze o tej porze), o dzikiej mięcie rosnącej wszędzie (jak mniszki u nas), o lawendzie, oleandrach i o kocance, dzięki której spacery pachniały dobrze doprawioną zupą. Ale nie chcę pisać o konkretnych roślinach (które w zadziwiający sposób przystosowały się do kamienistych warunków), tylko o parkach narodowych, które odwiedziłam. 

36 lat temu w Chorwacji oficjalnie ustanowiono 8 parków narodowych. Byłam w dwóch z nich: w parku rzeki Krka i na archipelagu Kornati.

Ten ostatni to najbardziej zagęszczony archipelag na Morzu Śródziemnym - ponad 150 wysp (prawie w ogóle niezamieszkanych! Bez ani jednego sklepu!). Lazurowy raj dla nurków. Cóż że jeżowce..

To właśnie tam, na jednej z wysp, pływałam po raz pierwszy w słonym (i ciepłym) jeziorze Mir połączonym z Adriatykiem podziemnymi kanałami (ta zupa była zdecydowanie za słona). 2,5 godziny płynęłam do niego statkiem na wyspę Długi Otok (kapitan łajby polewał w tym czasie rakiję i wino, które polecał przegryzać herbatnikami). Niestety spędziłam na wyspie tylko parę godzin. A chciałabym zostać na dłużej, mieć czas, łódkę i takiego kapitana z winem i herbatnikami, który pokazałby mi wiele zatoczek tego archipelagu. 

Po tym rejsie nabrałam pewności, że jestem z basenu Morza Śródziemnego, a wzięłam się na bank z wysp i tamtego koloru (po prostu przypadkowo przesunęło się to wszystko na mapie odrobinę na północ). Wszak Chorwaci to Słowianie...to całkiem niedaleko...

A w parku rzeki Krka można się poczuć jak w dżungli. Czy może być lepsza rekomendacja? Wizyta w tym miejscu to dowód na to, że nie wszystko, co w Chorwacji piękne, znajduje się na wybrzeżu.

Park rzeki Krka jest wielkości naszego Białowieskiego Parku. Można się tam natknąć na pozostałości po rzymskim wodociągu, średniowiecznych twierdzach chorwackich, młynach wodnych z XIII wieku i elektrowni wodnej uruchomionej w XIX wieku (dzięki, Teslo!), jednej z pierwszych na świecie (energia ze Skradinskiego Buka rozświetlała latarnie miejskie Szybenika). 

Największą atrakcją parku są lazurowe (bo jakże) wodospady w wapiennych osadach, ale mnie najbardziej tam uwiódł żywy odcień zieleni i bujność tych lasów. Na terenie parku mieszka ponad tysiąc gatunków roślinnych i pewnie drugie tyle zwierzęcych?! Słyszałam te zaskrońce w chęchach. To też bardzo ważne miejsce dla Europy pod względem ornitologicznym (ptaki robią sobie tu przystanek podczas wiosennych i jesiennych przelotów). A w rzece pływają łososie adriatyckie i endemiczne gatunki ryb, których nazw nie wymienię. Ciekawe jak ta fauna i flora znosi turystów. W popandemicznym czerwcu było nas niewiele, ale wyobrażam sobie co się tam dzieje w sezonie (w 2018 roku Chorwację odwiedziło prawie 20 milionów turystów/ a liczebność kraju to 4 miliony!). A jednak trzeba wrócić do tej krainy, bo wołają jeszcze: Park Narodowy Jezior Plitwickich i Park Wysp Briońskich.
