Yo-Kai Become Human Heroes in Yo-kai Academy Y Anime Film Trailer

  It's about to get spooky, because a new trailer has been published for Eiga Yo-Kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Gakuen Y - Neko wa HERO ni Nareru ka ("Yo-kai Watch Jam the Movie: Yo-Kai Academy Y - Can a Cat be a Hero?"), the sixth installment in the Yo-Kai Watch theatrical film franchise which features Yo-Kai reinterpreted as humans studying at an elite academy overrun by supernatural mysteries.

    The trailer (above) shows Jibanyan and Komasan in human form as the characters of Jinpei Jiba and Sandayuu Koma, respectively. It also features "Meteor", the movie's theme song, which is performed by Pink Lady.

    Eiga Yo-Kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Gakuen Y - Neko wa HERO ni Nareru ka hits theaters in Japan on December 13, 2019.

Komadillo has some important things to tell Koma-san ASAP.

Jiba’s squad as seen in the opening of Yokai Academy Y: Mera Raido (Blazion), Koma Sandayuu (Komasan), Fubuki Himekawa (Blizzaria) and Ryuusuke Kyubi (Kyubi), with their respective transformations. Not shows is Tamada Matarou ‘cus he can’t transform, sucks to be him whoever he’s supposed to be.

So remember how Komajiro was a frog in Shadowside? Now he’s an armadillo. Deal with it. He fuses with human-Komasan to become a giant astronaut robot that I suspect is meant to resemble USApyon.

Human-Blazion fuses with some normal-human-looking yokai to become what I assume is supposed to be a reference to Lie-in Heart (as well as the tokusatsu series Kaiketsu Lion-Maru).

This is going to be wild.

Koma Sandayuu + Komadillo = Little Komander

The human version of Komasan uses a yo-kai watch to fuse with the armadillo version of his little brother Komajiro to become an armored astronaut robot thing that kicks ass (in the PuniPuni game).

When I first saw this design I assumed it was supposed to be a version of USApyon but apparently not.
