Jiba’s squad as seen in the opening of Yokai Academy Y: Mera Raido (Blazion), Koma Sandayuu (Komasan), Fubuki Himekawa (Blizzaria) and Ryuusuke Kyubi (Kyubi), with their respective transformations. Not shows is Tamada Matarou ‘cus he can’t transform, sucks to be him whoever he’s supposed to be.

So remember how Komajiro was a frog in Shadowside? Now he’s an armadillo. Deal with it. He fuses with human-Komasan to become a giant astronaut robot that I suspect is meant to resemble USApyon.

Human-Blazion fuses with some normal-human-looking yokai to become what I assume is supposed to be a reference to Lie-in Heart (as well as the tokusatsu series Kaiketsu Lion-Maru).

This is going to be wild.

Ryuusuke Kyuubi + Izuna = Ninetail

The human equivalent of Kyubi is called... Kyuubi. He’s popular and he knows it, and has a rivalry with Mera Raido.

Gotta say I’m surprised he was made a protagonist while human Venoct was made an antagonist instead of vice-versa.

Izuna is both the japanese name for weasel and the name of a fox spirit that possesses people.
