Happy Birthday Hip-Hop Culture. Last year, I was privileged to link with Kool Herc, Quese IMC, Queen Yonasda and numerous Indigenous Family members in an intimate setting. Publishing today today that Hip-Hop is a cultural art form that has given so much to the world, its people of all nationalities, backgrounds and walks of life. That’s why I love it so much. It has given me life. It has connected me to people I would have never met. It has offered me new thoughts, philosophies and even remedies for life’s obstacles. This moment was especially cool. Watching young Shamar perform with other rap artists like AntoineX was dope. Sitting and talking to Kool Herc and Sister Cindy Campbell was also a career highlight. Here’s to Hip-Hop!!! I can’t wait to see what adventures await!
