Pokémon Scarlet/Violet headcanon: since Koraidon and Mabosstiff have known each other for some time, they're like their own little tag team, and so while Arven and MC (guy or girl ur choice) are chatting at the picnic table, the duo decide to initiate a tickle attack!

Gladys this is PERFECT! :D I love this HC so much holy kjakjakjrekrkjajrkejk And Arven!!! To get to write for him again is such a delight! I've gotcha covered, friend! :D I decided to go with Juliana for this one cause- well; I just really like her hehe

Massostiff looked across the way at Koriadon, eyes glittering as their plans solidified. Their trainers were sitting just a few feet before them, laughing about this and that as they finished off the last of their picnic.

“I was like- “Stop! Koriadon! We can’t climb that yet!” Juliana laughed around her soda, the memory of her rider scaling the wall and sliding down repeatedly ever hilarious.

“Oh gosh- that’s so Massostiff! He used to love chasing Sprigatito up trees- Oh, hey there boy.” Arven looked down fondly at the dog as he laid his head against Arven’s leg. “Whatcha up to?”

The Pokemon merely huffed, closing his eyes as he nuzzled closer to Arven. Behind her, Juliana could feel Koriadon sniffing her neck, making her giggle. “Kori- whahat are you- whoa!”

What happened next flew like a flash. Juliana squeaked as she fell back, the picnic table capsized as Koriadon scooted closer. She landed safely on her butt, uninjured.

Alas- she was now in perfect tickle range for her rider.

“Nohohoohooho! Cuhuuhuhut thahahhat ohohohout!” She cried, scrunching up her shoulders and kicking her feet as Koriadon nuzzled and nipped at her shoulders, growling playfully. “Sthahahap it tihihihiickles! A-Aahhahahrhven, hehehehelp!”

“I cahhahahahn’t!” He cried out, voice broken up with fits of giggles as Massostiff climbed on top of him. The older dog was busy licking his face and chin, paws kneading into the soft spots along Arven’s torso and making him squeal and flail like a child. “Mahhahahahsostihihiihff, cuhuhuht it ohohohohut! I meahhahan it! Aehaahahhahaha!”

The pokemon didn’t listen- and if they were, they chose to ignore it. They carried on gently tickling their trainers, barking and growling in glee as Arven and Juliana wheezed and squealed beneath their super effective attacks.

“Coohohoohme ohoohhon, stahahhap! I neheheheheed a sehhehehecond!” Juliana giggled out when Koriadon nuzzled her face, finally getting a break as it rested its massive snout against her shoulder. “Uuhuhuhgh..yohoohu’re toohoho much, you know thahhat?”

The rider made a sound of amusement, licking her cheek and making her giggle. She reached up and scratched gently at it’s chin as she turned back to her companion. “Arven, did you survive?”

“Ugh.” Was all he could make out, flat on his back with an arm over his eyes; obscured by Massostiff wagging his tail and huffing. A few more times he nuzzled his trainer’s arm, barking until he got the headpats he was seeking. “You two…if you wanted a sandwich, you could have just said that!”

The pokemon heads perked up. Arven regretted it immediately.

“No, no no no don’t you dare! I haven’t made it ye-EET!” He tried to wriggle away, but Massostiff and Koriadon were on him once more, searching for said sandwich and leaving Arven fighting for his life in giggles all over again. “Sahhahahahve mehehehhhehe! Juhuhuhuhlahahahhaana!”

“Hehe, okay okay! Here I come!” She got up and dashed over, jumping into the fray and adding even more laughter to the mix. THe picnic table laid turned over in the distance, the remains of their snacks feeding the wild bug types in the area.

Something I don’t think I’ve posted is what Meau’s fusion would be! I ended up going with Koriadon as I thought it was quite fitting as an ancient Pokémon itself! (Even if it’s all in the scientist heads lol) I had a blast designing it, though it took 2 months to decide on the colours as I wanted to use their shiny as the accents! Except I refuse to pick a shiny for AM’s so woohoo… more variants haha

What if...

Instead of Turo and Sada dying in area zero, they are turned into the miradon and koridon we travel with throughout the game and as the game progresses they regain they're humanity until they are able to talk again. They would apologize to Arven for not being there for him due to being turned into pokemon and Arven would forgive them and our team of heroes would go to area zero and try to turn off the time machine not only to save the world but it's also the only way to turn Turo and Sada back to normal and the villain of the game turns out to be Jacq who's trying to use both paradox pokemon and the ai versions of the professors to take over the world.

Thoughts on Koriadon?

Turo: Hmmm what to think about this beast. Well I can tell you I was shocked the first time I laid eyes on the mon. Acting like a oversized puppy I was in disbelief that it had caused such damage to the lab let alone Sada. But the difference between the two species is like day and night. Professor Fort’s Koriadon is very docile and natural protecter we have come to the conclusion this paradox pokemon was materialised not from the scarlet book’s description of The Winged King but…. A more personal experience with a certain Pokémon Professor Sada may or may not have raised…….

[ Director Turo looks solemnly outside the window and mutters something under his breath ]

Turo: My apologies for getting off topic I guess in conclusion due to the specimen group being so small it’s hard to say if ether one’s behaviour is normal. I definitely prefer having a puppy lovey king to a ruthless killer.

You know, the fact that Koraidon and Miraidon can’t coexist in the same time period kind of complicates things as to who gets them in Masters, though I can’t say for certain until the DLC comes out. Like, obviously one of them will go to Juliana or Florian, since that’s what they did for Gloria, and what they ended up doing for Lucas. But then how do you incorporate the other? I guess Hoopa pulls one of them from its own era (potentially with its corresponding version’s professor, thus saving them from their counterpart’s fate in whatever version Masters rolls with for its canon). I guess they kind of DO have to invoke the multiverse just because of how Gen IX is structured, which they did do already with Cyrus, but even then, that was just DeNA working around him choosing to stay in the Distortion World in Platinum, an exception but not a rule.

In fact, whenever they do start delving into the Gen IX content, I wanna see Zinnia involved somehow, since she knows a thing or two about the multiverse, and would make it easier for the Paldea Trainers to grasp the concept when dealing with Koraidon and Miraidon.

shiny hunting pokemon with various randos on Reddit is so fun especially since this game is so buggy its hilarious.

One guy placed a pickle when we were making a sandwich together and it somehow made the physics engine freak out and fling the other ingredients everywhere so I had to reset so I didn't waste anything.

For some reason no matter who hosted or how many times we tried changing things none of us could see each other in the area we were shiny hunting in (area zero.) At some point I did actually appear for one person for a few seconds and he excitedly DMd me this picture

But I couldn't see any of the other people I played with and none of them saw me at any other point.

I caught two shiny Pokemon and then the game crashed completely and for some reason unlike with every other online service there's no automated failsafe so it completely erased them (rip hawlucha and slither wing no. 1)

I spent like three hours shiny hunting and ended with only one Slither Wing since every other shiny I found I let the people I was playing with catch.

It was a lot of fun but half of it felt like it was fun in spite of the game rather than because of it.

We started strolling down the path with my newfound rival, when suddenly there was a roar. I saw the same red creature as before! The poor thing looked weak so I fed it a sandwich. I guess that helped him feel better. A lot better. The dragon led me through a cave and started breaking rocks and battling Houndours. It was pretty awesome. What was not so awesome was a Houndoom sneaking up and cornering my team! Don't those Pokemon leave burns that last forever!? We thought we were done for until the dragon saved us. By literally picking me up and jumping away from danger. Wild, right?
