After watching “Kotaro lives alone”, the word “wandering” for a child has a whole new meaning to me, and it might mean something stronger in Japanese (can’t confirm not fluent) in the show the word “wandering” is used to show an often neglected child walking around for their needs.

Anya in “Spy x Family” has been described as wandering for someone who will care for her, so I’m wondering if the wandering is the same as explained in Kotaro’s situation. We don’t have a confirmed age, we suspect she’s younger than 6 but neglect can really stunt a child’s growth. I wonder how deep into Anya’s backstory we’ll be able to dive into as the story progresses

I started watching this randomly without knowing anything about it but it turned out one of the heart touching anime i watched ever. I can't imagine a 4 years old boy living alone and much more mature than me.

I'm so glad i watched it, i might rewatch it some other time! I don't have a lot of words in my right now but i can say that this captured my heart. I hope there's a season 2 for this!! It's really good but you should prepare your heart and mind before watching it esp if you have some trauma about you childhood.
