kinnporsche ep 5

so, i actually finished ep 5 this watch.

its an extremely emotionally intense episode, inside of just like a whole other low key comedy drama. in this way that, i am watching the show and even enjoying it. but like fuck, that one pete porsche washroom conversation was soul destroying.

i'm not morally affronted they end up together (or how—i watched ep 6 already), it's a fucking show, but i think i would put it as, i can watch them but i certainly don't ship them together. theirs is a kind of mess that is actually a bit too close to the truth of a deeply toxic and realistic relationship for me to enjoy.

i still enjoy the show though, because it captures the fucked up ness of it all quite well. i like that porsche calls kinn out, that kinn's drinking (even more than usual, that man clearly has a problem, as with everyone in this show), that he's haunted. i kind of want it to stay unresolved and messy and jagged at the edges, and i want porsche to get some personal power in the mafia situation and tell kinn to fuck right off at some point in the future.

i know it doesn't happen that way (ep 6 is some legit canon divergence hurt/comfort fix-it fic vibes) but imagine.
