I want to praise your BokuAka fic today (Choke)

Soulmates and the iconic duo?? Impeccable

You have some pretty amazing soulmate fics, and I love each and every one of them as if they were my own children (yes that includes the Hawks / Dabi fic that you don't think is good - it's incredible)

But Choke honestly made me sick (in a good way)

Akaashi and Bokuto are so insistent, and Bokuto is borderline delusional, which is made worse by the fact that Akaashi does nothing to hold him back

I love their mentality of "Oh we're soulmates, you have to love us no matter what"

Seeing them slowly push at the boundaries throughout the fic really gets me every time I read it, because in the beginning you can really play it off as being all in your head

They're sweet, obviously they don't deserve the treatment they receive. Sure they're a bit overwhelming, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be

But the pity we as the reader feel for them slips away as the fic continues, I love the way they don't openly push anything in the beginning

Also the way the reader ends her relationship with her boyfriend is so sad, but he still cares for her even if they don't belong together - it breaks my heart, how dare you

Choke is definitely one of my favourite fics from you, if only because it's both a soulmate au and a duo fic

Also the way you characterise the characters in every one of your fics is just incredible

It’s no secret that I love soulmate au’s but this one in particular – that whole idea of what lines and boundaries can possibly exist when you’re ‘destined’ to be with someone – was something I was super excited to write about. And for that particular concept no one is better suited than these two haha

I do have to admit tho, I had the reader break up with Kuguri (well, Kuguri breaking up with her) because I think in this universe it’s almost the expected thing. He does ofc come back into play and tries to help her later, but I almost wished I’d gone the different route and kept them together.

Naoyasu kuguri for fucking sure. He's good for you bc he's a great listener (only for you), and he can be rather crafty (only around you). We all know he's rather guarded, but you would be a rare exception. He's the type to secretly do lOTS of research into your hobbies fr good gifts (but not until he's given a few mediocre ones in the beginning of your relationship -- it's okay, he grows up sksks). Plus, his anger is cold, when yours is hot, so he can temper you and extract you from a troublesome situation, all while cooly planning the utter evisceration of who ever wronged you.

It was kinda hard to tell in which time this song is written; is it present time or the past? I felt like in the lyrics Shiromi is thinking back to her time at the Royal Academy, so I put it all in past tense. I hope everythings makes sense a bit. Btw this song is clearly about lesbians, ICONIC.
