Request a part Two Here
Sighing, you rolled your eyes. Your best friend, was currently sitting on the exam table, chatting about how you had to be involved with the auction this year. Anyone, whose anyone was suppose to be there. Including, the supreme leader, that all the girls on the ship had a massive crush on. Almost, every girl.
You were the exception. He was often the topic of all the girls’ conversations through the ship.
Shaking your head you turned towards her.
“I don’t want to.”
A gasp fell from your lips. “What do you mean, you don’t want to?” She questioned in disbelief. “The supreme leader’s going to be there!” She shrieked.
“I heard you the first thousand times.” You leaned against the counter, crossing your arms across your chest. “I don’t get the hype.” You spoke, shrugging.
“You don’t get the hype?” She shrieked, jumping off the exam table, standing before you. “What’s there not to get?”
“Doctor, Y/L/N.” One of your nurses spoke, opening the door slightly, allowing her to poke her head into the room. “We have a particularly tough patient.”
Huffing, you nodded your head. “Duty calls.” You spoke to your friend motioning for her to leave. “We’ll talk later.”
“Damn straight.” She responded leaving.
You rolled your eyes in respond, as the nurse giggled in response that you had to deal with yet another difficult patient.
Turning around, you began washing your hands. The exam room door shut, signalling you were left alone with the patient.
The sound of someone sighing, could be heard. “Please take a seat on the exam table.” You muttered over your shoulder.
Once your hands were dried, you covered your hands in plastic gloves, before turning around face to face with the supreme leader.
A slight gasp fell from your lips. Taking in his appearance, he was still dressed in his black outfit, his black robes while leaving his mask on.
“What seems to be the problem?” You question, rolling the stool over, allowing you to sit before the man.
Silence.
Raising your eyebrows, you gazed where his eyes would be.
You waited a little time, before asking the same question, before you were met with the same response.
Huffing you got up from the chair.
“Thank you for coming in today.” You spoke, turning towards the door.
Your hand was on the door knob, before a cool leather, material wrapped around your wrist, preventing you from leaving.
Twirling around, you gazed at the tall man dressed in all black.
“You’re beautiful.” A mechanical voice spoke.
You felt heat rise to your cheeks. Glancing down at the ground you, bit your lip.
“Thank you. But that’s not why you’re here.” You muttered quietly.
A cool leather thumb, gently tugged your lip free from your teeth, before it moved to cradle your jaw. Closing your eyes, you leaned into his touch, gently nuzzling his hand as you wrapped your hand around his wrist.
Your eyes, flew open as you realized what you were doing, with who. Gasping, you took a small step backward, as your back collided with the wall.
“Why are you here?” You questioned, moving to sit back on your stool.
The sound of hissing gently echoed off the exam room walls, revealing an attractive young man, with a slight scar that went diagonal across his face, as his onyx hair, fell gently in his face. Moving it back, you were entranced with his look.
“I...I got a light saber wound.” His husky voice spoke, pulling you back from your daydream.
Clearing your throat, you nodded. “I’ll need you to remove your robe.”
He nodded at your request.
While he was laying back on the exam table, you were giving him stitches, while a silence enveloped the two of you.
Clearing his throat, you glanced upward at him, before returning to his wound.
“I meant what I said before.” His voice hoarse.
“Oh.” You whispered. “Th...Thank you.”
He hummed in response. “Are you going to be at the auction?”
“Hm?” You asked by surprise. “Oh, I uh...I uh haven’t put much thought into it.” You muttered.
“I think you should.” He spoke gently.
It was your turn to hum in response.
With each passing day, it grew closer and closer to the annual auction. Your best friend, was in-charge of organizing the event. A lot of the activities that she had planned, fell through.
She was currently, sitting on your bed having freaking out about gala.
“Why don’t you just do a silent auction.” You muttered, while you slipped on your scrub top.
“That’s a great idea!” She exclaimed.
“You could auction off dates with people, that way it helps raise more money.” You continued, as you slipped on your clogs.
Catching you by surprise, she threw her arms around your shoulders giggling full of excitement.
“You’re the best!” She shrieked, before bolting out of your bedroom.
-------
It was finally the day of the gala. You had finally finished, pinning your hair up in a french twist. Gazing at your figure in the mirror, you smoothed down your yellow dress as it was covered with subtle white flowers, pairing it with white heels to match.
Stepping out of your room, you gripped your silver clutch. Sighing, you gazed around the hallway as couples were kissing, and talking. Walking down the hallway, your heels clicked with each step you took.
Passing through the threshold of the transformed throne room, you couldn’t help the smile that made it’s way to your lips. A waiter passed by, stopping to offer you a glass of champagne, which you gladly accepted.
“Thank you.”
Your eyes locked with the supreme leaders, from across the room. He had opted to leave the mask at home, taking you by surprise.
“Y/N!” Your friend shrieked, tugging you into a hug.
Giggling you hugged her back.
“I didn’t think you’d come.”
Frowning, you looked at your hands. “Oh, I uh. I had a change of heart.”
“I’m glad.” She grinned. “We have a problem. One of our people for the silent auction, backed out.”
You gazed at her with suspicion. “Oh no.”
“Oh yes.” She continued smiling. “Let’s go.”
She linked her arm through yours, pulling you towards the stage.
Tossing a glance over your shoulder, you were surprised to see the supreme leader already offering you a silent smile, before he raised his glass to you.
This was going to be a long night.

Until Death Do Us Part (Part 1)
A/N: Okay soooo... I decided to pause on “Across the Stars”, for now. Thought I’d try out a smaller series (maybe a few parts) and see how that went. :) Hope you all like it!
P.S. This won’t be based off canon. Snoke’s death is a little different, meaning Rey wasn’t a part of it.
---
“My Lady, please sit still. We only have a few minutes to finish your hair.”
My fingers danced nervously in my lap, gazing at my reflection in the mirror. The woman staring back was a stranger to me. Her lips were painted a dark red, her cheekbones contoured to perfection. Not a single flaw was visible, every freckle covered in heavy make up. Her body was encased in a floor length black gown , her curves accentuated underneath the dark material. She looked simply irresistible.
A knock on the door caused me to jump in my seat, and my head whirled to see who it could be. A disapproving snort from the servant working on my hair caught my attention, but not enough to retort.
“W-Who’s there?”
“It’s me.” My heart nearly jumped out of my chest at the sound of his voice, a wonderful familiar sound that I had longed to hear all morning.
“You know it’s not custom to see the bride before the wedding, don’t you?” I let out a small nervous laugh, as the servant finished my hair and exited the room through a separate door.
“I know...” Kylo Ren’s voice chuckled before going silent for a few seconds. “But... I just wanted to check to make sure...”
“Make sure what?” I frowned slightly, before standing and walking towards the door.
“That this is what you want.” His response was much softer, his vulnerability only reserved for moments like these. “I don’t want to push you into something if you aren’t ready.”
I gently opened the door a few inches, and slipping my hand out. A smile turned up the corners of my lips as I felt a warm hand slip into mine. “I would not have agreed to marry you, if I wasn’t ready nor if I didn’t love you.”
“I just had to ask.” His thumb stroked the smooth skin of my hand. “I don’t want you to have any regrets.”
“There isn’t a thing about you that I could ever regret.” I smiled softly before squeezing his hand gently. “Don’t think you can chase me away so easily, especially on our wedding day. You have no idea how long it took to get ready this morning.”
A wholehearted laugh escaped his lips, and I knew that the doubt had finally started to fade away from him.
“I am quite tempted to come in and see how gorgeous you look.”
“That would spoil the surprise, my future husband.” I giggled softly. “You’ll just have to wait a little while longer, I’m afraid.”
“Doesn’t the Supreme Leader get what he wishes?”
“Not on his wife’s wedding day. But nice try.”
Voices in the hall interrupted our playful banter, and with a sigh, I felt Kylo’s lips brush against my hand before his grip released on me. “I will see you at the alter very soon, my Lady.”
“As will I.” I pulled my hand back inside and shut the door gently. I turned to find my servant back inside my room, nearly causing me to jump out of my skin.
“I’m sorry, My Lady. I didn’t mean-”
“It’s quite alright.” My stomach started to turn in nervousness as I saw the veil and bouquet of flowers. “Is it time?”
“Indeed it is.” She smiled. “Come, let’s put the veil in your hair and you will finally be ready to wed the Supreme Leader.”
---
KYLO REN’S POV
I had never felt so strongly for anyone before. Y/N was the only gift that Snoke had given me, unintentionally of course. She had been one of his servant girls that he passed on to me, saying that her beauty had faded over the time she had belonged to him.
But I could not agree any less, even if I tried. Every day with her was a dream, a small glimpse of light in the darkness that I had been surrounded by ever since I had turned. I had fallen in love with her quicker than I thought was possible, and for some reason... she had found goodness in me to love herself.
Snoke had sensed my priorities shifting, my focus no longer solely set on taking over the galaxy, but rather... on finding my own happiness in Y/N. He could not stand for this, and ordered her execution.
But in a matter of seconds and in a flurry of rage... my lightsaber had found purchase in the torso of my old Master, and ended his life and command forever.
And now, months later, I was married to the most beautiful woman in the entire galaxy.
“Until death do us part.” the words had left our lips in a whisper, before sealing that promise with a passionate kiss, a thunderous applause breaking out around us.
The celebration that followed was delightful, but rather unnecessary. All I wanted was to steal my bride away for the rest of the night, but, Y/N had insisted that a reception was the least we could to thank everyone for their hard work on board. Although I could’ve been snarky and added that it was their job to work hard, I had smiled and agreed. All I wanted was for her to be happy, and if a reception was something that brought her joy, I would gladly manage my way through it.
Part way through our main course, the sound of a cough made me turn to find General Hux standing near the table.
“General Hux, I’m glad you could be here.” Y/N offered a gentle smile, and a rather forced one pulled up the pale corners of his lips.
“I extend the dearest congratulations to you, Lady Ren. It is an honor to be here.” His eyes darted to me. “I need to have a word with you.”
“Not now.”
“It is rather important.”
“Important enough to interrupt my wedding reception?” my voice was clipped and my irritation was beginning to build.
A hand touched my arm and I glanced over to my wife. Y/N rolled her eyes and smiled. “Go talk to him. I’ll be fine for five minutes.” I opened my mouth to object but she shook her head. “Go.”
With a small sigh, I kissed her on the cheek before following Hux out of the room and into the hall. “What?”
“I’m just curious... how long do you think this moment of bliss will last before the Resistance crushes us?” The words spat out of his mouth like venom, and my eyes immediately narrowed.
“Care to elaborate, Hux?”
“News has broken everywhere that you have married. And the rumors that have been spread are that she is a former slave girl... which we both know are true. Do you know what that looks like to a lot of people, Ren? Marrying a former slave girl? A weak leader.”
In a matter of seconds, Hux’s body had flown threw the air and slammed against the wall.
“Do not question my ability to lead, Hux. “ My voice was nearly a snarl as I started to choke him with the Force. “And do not question Y/N’s value ever again. If you want to stay on board, keep your lips shut. Do you hear me?”
“Y-Yes.” A choked answer escaped his nearly purple lips and I scoffed as I let him go, his body dropping to the floor.
“You’re wasting my fucking time. Go back to-”
The music playing inside of the reception room was abruptly cut off and replaced with the sound of numerous blasters going off. My eyes widened and I immediately ran back inside to find five masked figures firing into the crowd of people in the room.
My eyes immediately searched the room to find my bride but could not find her amongst the panicking people. I immediately pulled my lightsaber from my belt and ignited it, the flickering red flames catching the intruders’ attention.
“It’s the guest of honor. Kill him.” One of them yelled, a red mark on his mask suggesting that he was the leader of the five. Without second thought, I easily made my way through the other four, using the force to disarm them of their weapons before slicing through their bodies like butter.
The leader shot twice at me, both of the shots deflecting before I knocked the weapon out of his hands and grabbing him by the front of his shirt and pulling him upwards.
“Where is she?!” I snarled, my blood boiling as I stared down at the assassin before me, his eyes glazed with fear. The room had gone deadly silent, the buzz of my lightsaber the only thing to be heard.
“She’s here, Supreme Leader!” A voice called in the crowd and I immediately looked over to see her laying still on the ground. A party of Stormtroopers, followed by Hux, entered the room and I immediately shoved the assassin into their arms before turning off my lightsaber.
“Take him and lock him away. I’ll deal with him later.”
“Supreme Leader, why not finish him now?” Hux’s irritating voice rang through my head, and I simply just ignored him as I made my way through the crowd to find Y/N.
The guests parted immediately, and I hurried to her side. Y/N’s face was pale, and her breathing shallow. One of her hands was pressed against her side, and blood had begun to seep past it and onto the floor.
“Y/N...” I whispered weakly, my whole body going numb as the reality of losing my wife became much more real.
Her Y/E/C eyes fluttered open and fell on me exhaustedly. “B-Ben.”
“I’m here.” I cupped her face with one of my hands, and she leaned into it willingly.
“I didn’t realize...” Y/N winced slightly as she spoke.”How soon ‘until death do us part’ would come.”
“Don’t say that.” I said sternly, before picking her up in my arms, my heart nearly breaking at the small whimper of pain that escaped her lips. “We’re getting help right now.”
“I know...” her words were a soft mumble as we made our way out of the room and towards the medical bay. “But... I’m trying to be realistic.”
“You’re going to be fine.” I almost snapped, the thought of losing her nearly breaking me entirely. Minutes later, we arrived at the medical bay and I surrendered her to the droids, who placed her onto a table. “Save her... please.”
“Ben...” Her hand caught mine and I gazed down at her. Even while clinging desperately onto life, Y/N still looked as gorgeous as the day I met her. And I couldn’t bear the thought of not waking up next to her every day until our last. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” My eyes began to water with tears as I leaned down to kiss her forehead, before moving to touch her lips. After a few lingering moments,I forced myself to pull away, allowing the droids to take over.
I could only sit and wait, and that was what I did. But... an all too familiar presence lingered behind me. I turned my head, and caught sight of the fiery red hair of Hux lingering outside the medical bay, his eyes hard a stone and cold as ice.
Something wasn’t right...
I needed answers, and after I found those answers, there would be hell to pay.
----
A/N 2: The ending is kinda trash, ik. But I wrote this at 1 am, so ya know...that might be why. XD But I’ll try to get the next part up soon! <3

Promise
A/N: Okay, so, the final part to “Until Death Do us Part” is in the works, but I thought that I would publish a little one part imagine.Switch things up a bit, ya know? I’m kinda unsure how it ended up, but I hope y’all will like it. But don’t worry, there’s still angst to be had lol. Hope you enjoy, and have a lovely day!
-M <3
----
We promised ourselves that we wouldn’t get too attached
They were the first words of conversation as I lay in his arms the first night he allowed me to stay in his company. It seemed easy enough, I suppose. I was grateful for the time that was given to me, with each night that was spent away from my chambers and inside his own.
Finding his bed empty with no notice as to where he had gone was something I had grown used to. A habit of his that I had grown to accept. The Supreme Leader did not owe me anything further than the night before.
But as the weeks bled into months, our morning ritual began to change. Instead of finding the sheets cool and unoccupied, I was still gently held against his chest, his strong arms wrapped around my waist tightly as if in fear that I would leave at any point.
The bed was no longer just for our moments of passion, but for conversations and sparks of happiness that I never once considered possible for me, a simple nurse in the med bay who happened to be in charge of nursing him back to health after a rather nasty battle.
“You need to promise me you won’t go into the field with the others today.” His voice was nearly as soft as his gaze, watching as I tilted my head up to look at him.
“You mean, not do my job?” I snorted slightly.
“I’m serious.” His hand brushed against my cheek, and I instinctively lean agains his palm. “You’ll be safe here.... and you can attend to my own injuries if I return with any.”
“You sure have quite the regard for my safety as of late, Supreme Leader.” I quipped with a smile, but deep down, my heart thudded in my chest at even the thought of his own concern for me.
His eyes quickly darted away from me and the room fell silent.
I let out a sigh and rolled over, straddling his waist. His hands automatically come to rest on my thighs and I couldn’t help the small shiver at the feeling of his rough, calloused against my soft skin.
“Kylo, look at me.”
His gaze remained locked on the ceiling, his bottom lip trapped between his teeth. My face leaned closer to his own, and I pressed gentle kisses against his skin until I reached the corner of his mouth. By this point, I knew I had his attention, and purposefully drew away.
A small grunt was the response I received and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Really? A grunt?”
Kylo shrugged, but I could see a smile pulling at the corners of his lips. His warm brown eyes shifted back to mine, and he nodded slightly, as if prompting me to speak.
“I know what we promised each other when this began...” I paused, unsure of how he would react to my words. “but every time that you have to leave to go on some dangerous adventure, I always want you to stay. But who am I to-”
My words were cut off by his lips as he sat up and wrapped his arms around me, and I gladly let the words die away as I melted into his embrace.
After a few moments, he pulled away, letting our foreheads rest together in a brief silence.
“I think it’s fair to say that we’ve both broken that promise.” Kylo said softly, his voice nearly a whisper. “But I need to keep you safe, and the only way that I know you will remain untouched is either if you are with me, or if you are here on board. And we both know that you can’t come with me this time.”
“But I can’t do my job if I’m always locked away.” I leaned back and smiled slightly as I smoothed a piece of his hair out of his face “I want to help save lives. And besides, the Stormtroopers do a fine job protecting us, even in the midst of battle.”
“Stormtroopers are replaceable, but you are not.”
“Kylo.... please...” I sighed, looking at him calmly. “I need to do my job. I promise that I will be safe. Besides, no one even knows that we are... romantically involved. It won’t be as if I have an extra target on my back.”
“No, but if anything happened to you, I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself.” Once again, his eyes fell away from me as his feelings became vulnerable once more. But I wouldn’t let him hide away from me.
I gently grabbed his face with my hands and pulled his attention towards me once more. “You’re not going to lose me.”
“How do you know that?” His gaze reflected pain that I knew had lingered in them for years.
Of course, I didn’t know that my safe return was guaranteed, not with running into the open field to try to save wounded troopers lives. But as much as I grew to care for the Supreme Leader, I could not leave my job behind and pretend that it meant nothing to me.
“I need you to trust me.” I replied, my throat growing thick with unshed tears. “I know that you want to keep me out of harms way, but I need to save lives. I want to limit the number of casualties and try to bring everyone home safe.”
“Even if you don’t come home at all?”
His question slightly startled me. “I’ve learned that you have to be selfless to serve for a cause that you believe so dearly in. And that is how I have felt ever since I started working for the First Order... since I’ve met you.”
“I don’t want it ever to come down between saving yourself and serving the First Order.” His hand cupped me cheek, and I gazed into his eyes. They were hesitant and unsure. “But if you really wish to be there today, you may. But all I ask is that you have someone guarding you at all times... and to be safe.”
“I can do that.”
“Promise?”
“Yes. I promise to be safe.” I leaned in and sealed it with a simple kiss, one that might possibly have been my last.
---
Kylo’s POV
It seemed as if the battle would never end.
The Resistance certainly came prepared for a nasty fight, but so did the First Order. As Stormtroopers began to drop, either from nasty wounds or immediate death, the med bay nurses began to dispatch from their cover of safety to the sides of the injured men.
My heart nearly jumped to my throat as I saw Y/N began to move, but she turned and gave me a reassuring smile. Even with my mask on, I was sure she could feel the unease that ran through me at the thought of her being in danger.
But with a simple smile, she returned to her work, closely guarded by Captain Phasma, who I had ordered to keep watch over her.
Without second glance, I turned back to the fighting erupting behind me and found a Resistance fighter to sink my lightsaber into within seconds. As the minutes turned into hours, the Resistance fighters were beginning to drop like flies, until only a scarce few were left alive.
As the last few were being dealt with, I turned to look for Y/N, who I had seemed to have lost in the midst of the chaos. As the number of seconds had passed with no luck of finding her, my heartbeat immediately quickened and my mouth went dry in worry that I may have lost her without even knowing.
“Kylo!”
I turned to see Captain Phasma approaching, her silver plated uniform reflecting the dimming sun light.
“You were supposed to stay with Y/N. Where is she?” My tone was clipped and I knew that Phasma could sense my unease.
“She is attending to one more patient. She wanted me to find you and bring you to her.”
Before I could open my mouth to respond, our conversation was interrupted by a loud, explosive boom of a bomb. I turned my head to see a thick yellow gas beginning to spread, slowly making its way towards where we stood.
Despite Phasma’s urgent warnings not to enter, I began to run and soon enough, I had entered the yellow fog. It was nearly blinding, and as it began to filter through my mask, I began to cough. I needed to find her, immediately. She would not last long on her own.
“Y/N!”
My voice began to crack after the third or fourth time I called her name, my hope slowly slipping through my fingers.
As I took another step forward, I felt a hand gently grasp onto my ankle, and I looked down to find Y/N laying on the ground. Without another word, I pulled her body into my arms and ran back to where the others had stayed behind.
Each step was more painful than the last, and my lungs ached with each breath I took. I wanted so badly to give in, to let my demise be in the poisoness fog of the Resistance and let it be finished. But I couldn’t, not with the woman who I had grown to fall in love with dying in my arms.
I tried my hardest to keep moving, but eventually, my legs gave out from underneath me. Y/N’s body fell from my arms, and I heard a small groan escape her body. I yanked off my helmet and with nearly all the strength left in my body, I crawled closer to her and pulled her back into my embrace.
Her head leaned against my chest, her eyes half way open as she gazed up at me. A gash on her forehead was bleeding, dripping down the side of her face. Her gorgeous Y/E/C had turned red from the gas, and her lips had become slightly cracked.
“You promised me.” I croaked, my chest beginning to ache as I watched Y/N’s consciousness begin to waiver.
“I-I’m sorry.” Her eyes began to water with tears and a sob escaped her lips. “I’m so sorry.”
Without another word, I leaned down and smashed my lips against hers, kissing her for what felt like the very last time.
“I love you.” my confession was nearly a whisper, nearly all my energy drained from me.
“I love you too...” Y/N’s voice slowly died away, and her eyes slowly closed, her consciousness withering away to nothing.
My body eventually gave up, falling to the ground with her body still in my arms. My lungs were engulfed in flames, and eventually, it felt easier to accept that death was easier than whatever life looked like ahead.
My eyes began to close, and I started to fall into a deep darkness, with the love of my life in my arms. It was not the worst way to die, but certainly not what the vicious Kylo Ren had hoped his death to be.
Before my eyes shut completely, flashes of light emerged in my vision and I heard Phasma’s familiar voice in my ear. All I knew was that we had been saved.
---
Third Person POV
No one dared venture after the Supreme Leader when he sprinted into the smoke. Phasma was startled at his request to watch over the girl, but even more so when he ran after her.
But after thinking about it while awaiting his return, it all clicked in her head: he had fallen in love with her.
After a little under ten minutes had passed with no sign of either of them, Phasma pulled a few Stormtroopers together to go in to find them. It hadn't taken them very long to find them, and when they did, Phasma’s suspicions were proven correct.
The young nurses’ body had been cradled in the arms of the Supreme Leader and both had succumbed to the world of the unconscious. Their bodies were quickly transported into a ship and taken back to receive treatment.
It took numerous hours and countless doctors, but both the Supreme Leader and the young nurse had been declared stable and placed in the same room, under the suggestion of Captain Phasma.
She sat in their room the next day, eventually noticing the Supreme Leader open his eyes open. He frowned curiously, looking down and noticing all the wire’s hooking up to him.
“Where am I? Where’s Y/N?”
Before he could start pulling everything off of him, Phasma stood and gestured to the bed next to him.
“She’s right here, Supreme Leader. Y/N should be awake in a matter of hours. She’s safe.”
Relief flooded his eyes and a rare smile lit up his face. “Just as she promised.”

A/N 2: Okay, y’all. I honestly considered NOT including the part about them being rescued and recovering, but that would’ve been too sad for me today. lol. Or ever, honestly. But I hope you enjoyed! See ya later!

Until Death Do Us Part (Part 3)
A/N: Okay so... this is actually gonna be more than 3 parts. XD I keep coming up with new ideas, and I don’t want waste ‘em. But this won’t be as long as Across the Stars. My prediction is that this will stretch to probably around 4-5 parts. But after I finish this, I’m gonna try to make One-Shot imagines and see how that goes. Anyway... hope you enjoy! Thanks for reading!

---
A laugh graced the wedded woman’s lips moments before the sweet taste of wine began to wash away any concerns that had fallen over her the moment General Hux had approached the table.
It was almost completely out of line for any officer to bring conversation of war into the light during the midst of such a celebration. It concerned Y/N greatly, yet, she could not keep the Supreme Leader from continuing his growing rule over the galaxy.
She did not question his love for her in the slightest. Nothing had been more clear and certain in her life. But when it came down to it... would Kylo’s love for her be stronger than his urgent desire to defeat the Resistance? To defeat... the Scavenger?
A bitter pang of self-consciousness and uneasiness always rested upon Y/N at the thought of the girl, a feeling that had grown tremendously after Kylo had told her of the Force connection he held with her.
Something that he would never have with Y/N, no matter how badly she tried or wished for it to be.
She hid her feelings well, or at least, Kylo never mentioned sensing the heaviness that weighed at her heart. She tried her hardest to recognize the blessing she found in him, and the fact that he was now her husband.
But the new wife of the Supreme Leader couldn’t help the uncertainty weighing on her heart as she glanced back towards the door where Hux had led her husband only minutes earlier. The Force only knows what she would give to be able to know what they were speaking of.
A sharp click caught her attention, and in a moment of motion, she turned to find a blaster aimed directly at her, discreetly held underneath a cloth. The man behind the gun smirked, revealing a set of yellow, crooked teeth before his finger moved to the trigger. “I wanted to personally deliver this gift on behalf on my employer. He sends his regards.”
Y/N had only begun to turn to call for help when the first shot struck her side. Her cry was silenced, her hands shaking as they. moved to press against the wound, stained red with the blood that continuously spilled. Her consciousness waivered as the seconds bled into minutes. Y/N tried desperately to hold onto her consciousness, now held in the arms of a random guest as her scarlet blood continued to seep through her dress and onto the floor beneath her.
As the darkness began to seduce her vision, a familiar presence pulled her attention once more. Y/N had never seen Kylo so upset in all of the years she had known him. His dark eyes were already filled with despair, and a flash of anger. But somewhere deep inside them, there was a small glimmer of hope.
After a few exchanges of conversation, her body was lifted in his arms and rushed out of the room. From that moment on, everything was a blur. She remembered speaking a few moments on the way to the medical bay, but not the words themselves.
Eventually, her body came to rest on a long white table and the warmth of her husbands arms disappeared. Despite her pain, her hand shot out and caught his wrist, his attention immediately focused upon her once more. “Ben...I love you.”
Y/N’s eyelids grew heavy as he began to speak, and finally surrendered to the darkness just as his response filled her eyes in soft whisper.
“I love you too.”
---
“We’re losing her! Find the Supreme Leader immediately!”
The room was a chaos of clashing doctors and medial droids desperately trying to save the young woman’s life as her body began to convulse on the table in front of them.
Her bright Y/E/C eyes had finally opened, but were now filled with sheer terror and pain as she found herself helpless to the severity and pain of her injuries. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked around the room, not finding her husband anywhere.
Y/N couldn’t leave, not yet but most certainly without saying goodbye to her beloved. Her lips were cracked and dry, but she found the will to open them, a startling cry of pain escaping her chest which echoed down the dark halls outside of the medical bay.
In exhaustion, she lay her head back against the pillow and closed her eyes in defeat, one more sob bubbling from her chest.
I love you, my stars. Please don’t forget me.
---
Hux had his gun in hand the moment he entered the cell once again, but he was too confident and arrogant to notice the dark shadow lingering beside him, which quickly swung a brilliant red flame through the air and eventually through the flesh of the General’s wrist.
A pain-filled screech broke the empty silence of the room, as the General watched his own hand fall to the floor, along with his only hope of killing the Supreme Leader. He turned his head only in time for the very man he intended to kill to step into sight, the small sliver of light hitting the edge of his mask.
The red haired man fell onto his knees, grasping at the stump of his arm as Kylo Ren slowly took a step forward, his lightsaber still activated at his side. “I’m glad you came here as fast you could, General.”
Hux swung his head to look up at him, his eyes shooting daggers. “How did you find out?”
“Your assassin had a very weak mind... it didn’t take long after you left to pull the truth from him.” The gloved hand tightened around the hilt of his weapon, and the defeated opponent’s gaze immediately fixed open it. “Did you honestly think that you would get away with this, you piece of filth?”
By the second, blood was spilling from Hux’s wound onto the dark floor of the room, and his complexion only growing paler. But his arrogance some how persisted through the entire ordeal.
“I would argue that I accomplished at least part of my plan.” His lip curled into a sneer before continuing. “Your wife won’t last too much longer. My assassin knew exactly where to shoot her.”
Hux’s body immediately was pulled up and shoved against the wall by the Force, and a strong pressure was placed on his throat, blocking his airway nearly entirely.
“And we have nearly the best medical team on this ship. She will recover in time.”
“D-Don’t lie to yourself.” Hux spat out, as the Supreme Leader took a step towards him. “You can feel her pain, can’t you? I heard her screams only minutes ago, and yet here you are, fighting me rather than saying your goodbyes to your beloved.”
Kylo froze in his spot, as he realized that Hux was right. A wave of pain and anguish rushed over him, and the lightsaber nearly fell from his hand as he heard her voice inside his head.
I love you, my stars. Her voice was a soft whisper, weak and in pain. Please don’t forget me.
The sinister chuckle that Hux released snapped Kylo’s attention back to him. The Force’s pressure on his throat increased, and Hux’s eyes widened as his airway was blocked entirely.
“I’m going to make you wish you were never born.” Kylo’s voice was cold and venomous, a tone that even sent a shiver down the General’s back.
Even without speaking, defiance reflected in the gaze of the red-haired man, refusing to admit any remorse for his actions. It only infuriated Kylo more, and for a split second, he considered just killing him right then and there. But there would be no justice in a quick death... and no fun, for that matter.
After a moment of hesitation, he released Hux, watching his body collapse on the ground, shaking slightly as it tried to take in as much oxygen as it possibly could. Kylo deactivated his lightsaber and walked out the door, turning to look at him once more. “This is not finished.”
The door slid shut and locked with a loud click. A pair of Storm Troopers ran down the hallway, coming to a halt after they found the dark hooded figure standing before them.
“Supreme Leader, your presence is urgently requested in the medical bay. Y/N-”
“Stay here. You are not to let Hux out of this cell under any circumstances. Understand?” Kylo’s voice was firm, but under his mask, his panic was easier to read than a book.
“Yes sir.”
Without another word, Kylo stormed down the cold dark halls, each step more painful than the last. He tried to reach out to his dying wife through the Force, desperate to hear her voice again. But all that he received in return was the bitter silence that he despised.
In a matter of minutes, he found himself rounding the corner into the medical bay, a swarm of doctors and droids huddled around what could only be the body of his wife.
“What happened?”
Nearly everyone jumped at the sound of the Supreme Leader’s voice but quickly rushed to try to explain. The words were spoken, but his attention was focused on the body that lay before him as he took a seat next to her bed.
Y/N’s eyes were closed, her skin pale as snow. Her hair was a mess, a beautiful mess at that, resting on the top of her head. Dark circles had formed underneath her eyes, and her cheeks were damp from tears that had only fallen moments before. She did not look well.
Tears pooled in Kylo’s eyes, slipping down his cheeks steadily as he moved to take her hand that was closest to him.
“... because of the injuries she has sustained, she had to be put into a coma. “
Her chest rose and fell, shallow but consistently. A small spark of hope ignited in the Supreme Leader’s heart, and he glanced back at the doctors waiting beside him.
“How long will she be unconscious for?”
“It will depend on the strength of her body and her will to live. We have used all the medical procedures necessary to begin the healing in her. It is up to Lady Y/N now.”
Kylo nodded slowly, his gaze falling back to his wounded bride. Force knows what he would give to see her smile at him once again. Or even snap at him again for accidentally burning the edge of their dresser by activating his lightsaber to close to it. Anything... would be better than this.
“You may take your leave.” The lump in his throat continued to grow but he fought past it to speak. “I would like to be alone with her.”
In a matter of second, the surrounding doctors had left the room, leaving Kylo alone with his wife. He raised his hands, removing his hood before taking off his mask. After placing it on the table next to her bed, he removed his gloves before taking her hand is his once again.
For the first few minutes, Kylo sat in silence, only gazing at his love’s face. Although he had been reassured that she had received the best medical care available on board, Y/N looked like she was on the brink of death. He would never forgive himself if she died in this way, only mere days after they were married.
“Please come back to me, my stars.” his voice was a broken whisper, each word more painful to speak than the last. “I need you.”
Despite his vulnerability and most sincere wishes for her to wake up, her eyelids did not flutter open.
The Supreme Leader stayed there for hours, until news of a Resistance attack came to his attention. He rose from his seat, leaning over and kissing her forehead gently before pressing his lips against her for a moment longer. “I will return in a few hours, my love. I promise.”
After placing his helmet and gloves back on himself, Kylo walked out of the medical bay and back towards his advisors. “Begin the attack. Kill everyone. No survivors.”
He turned to find Captain Phasma standing nearby, her gun resting in her hands. “Come with me. We have matters to deal with in the holding cells.”
With a nod of her silver plated helmet, she followed Kylo Ren down towards the cells, almost feeling his temper and anger rising with each step they took. Whoever they were about to deal with was in for a world of pain. But Phasma could live with that.

Kylo Ren couldn’t even remember how it had all happened.
One moment, he was staring at the end of General Hux’s gun, and the next, he was out like a light.
His eyelids slowly fluttered open, an dull throbbing pain igniting from his head. Kylo reached up and touched his head, pulling his hand away to find it speckled with scarlet drops of blood.
The rest of his body, however, remained unharmed. The traitorous red-haired weasel had only hit him over the head with the gun, nothing more. But it was too early to celebrate.
Kylo’s heart nearly stopped as his gaze fell onto the bed that his wife had just been in, seeing only empty sheets and the number of wires that had been connected to her.
Machines had been pushed over, wires tangled, and trays spewed across the normally organized floor of the room. Y/N hadn’t left here without a fight. For a moment, a surge of pride filled Kylo’s veins, but it was quickly replaced with a icy cold wave of fear at what Hux could’ve possibly done to her in the moments that Kylo had been unconscious.
Ignoring the increased throbbing of his head as he began to move, Kylo rose to his feet and walked towards the door of the med bay. Two Stormtroopers were walking down the hallway and froze when they saw their Supreme Leader standing there without his helmet, blood slowly trickling down the side of his head.
“You two.” Kylo barked, and without hesitation, they came to stand in front of him. “Sound the alarm. Start looking for General Hux, and make sure he’s still on board. He has a hostage with him.”
“Who is the hostage, Supreme Leader?”
“My wife.”
----
“Let me go.”
“You’re not in the position here to give me orders, My Lady.” Hux’s grip tightened on my arm as I struggled to move away from him within the small confines of the closet we were hiding in. “At least, not in your condition”
I whimpered slightly as I feel his hand move closer to my bandaged wound, almost in warning of what he would do if I acted in any way other than what pleased him. He had done it once, resulting in a yelp from me. I didn’t dare challenge it again. I remained silent, and could only watch through the small window as Stormtroopers marched past, oblivious to what was happening in the closet only feet from them.
After a few moments of waiting, the Stormtroopers had finally marched away, and the hallway was silent once more.
“Open the door.” his hand returned to my arm, gripping it tightly.
With shaky fingers, I forced the door open and stepped in the hallway, my gaze moving back and forth, silently praying that someone, anyone, would walk down the hallway.
“Start walking, girl.” Hux’s lips brushed against my ear, and I shifted uncomfortably at the feeling, quickly beginning to walk forward and away from him.
“You won’t get away with this. “ I muttered, as he began to practically yank me down different passages, searching for Force knows what. “Kylo will find you... and once he does-”
“If Ren ever catches our trail, it’ll be too late for him.” Hux reached a door and began to type into a keypad. “By then, we’ll-”
An alarm cut off whatever sentence was bound to follow, and I couldn’t help the smile on my lips, knowing that Ben was already searching for us. And once he found us... Hux would wish that he had never been born.
I turned and gave the red-haired man a snarky smile.
“You were saying?”
The sharp, painful force of a slap caused my head to whip to the side, a small curse leaving my lips at the pain.
“I suggest you learn to silence your tongue... if you are to ever be my Empress.” He snarled before the door opened and he yanked me through forcefully.
I nearly recoiled at his words, nothing but negative thoughts running through my mind at his words. “I will never be your Empress. And you will never be the Supreme Leader. “
I watched, in slight amusement, as his face began to change shades, from a pasty white to a burnt pink and finally to a furious purple. He opened his mouth to speak, but the sound of Stormtroopers running down the hall caused his mouth to fall closed.
We continued our way down the halls, and my heart dropped as I realized we were approaching the Escape Pods. He had finally found his escape route.
As we entered the room, Hux shut and locked it securely, keeping whoever was rapidly approaching from entering.
Hux furiously began to type into the keypad to one of the pods, his handless arm wrapped tightly around my waist to keep me in place, despite my struggle. My eyes lit up with hope as I heard voices speaking rapidly outside, quickly trying to figure out how to open the door.
Hux’s eyes widened with panic and quickly typed faster, his grip growing even tighter and pressing against my wound.
Eventually, the door that separated Hux and I from whoever waited outside finally opened, and we both whirled around to see three Stormtroopers enter, their guns raised with their fingers on the trigger. My heart nearly leapt from my chest as I saw the tall, dark figure of my husband enter behind them.
His head was bleeding slightly, coming from the nasty hit that Hux gave him with his gun. But the rest of him was unscathed. Kylo’s eyes were burning with anger, but deep in them, I could see the finger that lingered within.
“Ben...” my voice cracked, and his eyes softened as they met mine.
Hux pulled me against his body tightly, and I yelped as the pressure increased once more against my bandages. Kylo’s eyes darkened once more as they focused on my captor.
“Let her go, and I’ll consider giving you a quick death. “
“You are in no position to demand things of me, Ren.” A bitter laugh left the red-haired man’s lips, and a few moments later, I heard the familiar buzz of my husband’s lightsaber.
My breathing grew increasingly faster, and my eyes began to well with tears as Hux raised the lightsaber, the blade only inches from my throat. I watched as the look on Kylo’s face turned into one of uncertainty and panic, knowing that one wrong word would end your life right in front of his eyes.
“I love you.” I whispered, as the tears slowly began to fall from my eyes and my fear beginning to paralyze my body.
“So... here’s what’s going to happen.” Hux smirked, feeling a wave of pride at seeing how distraught Kylo had become. “I’m going to take this escape pod... I’m going to take your wife.... and we are going to go on a little trip together. If you try to follow us, the next time that you see her, she will be in pieces. With the work of this very fine lightsaber of yours.”
My bottom lip began to tremble as I saw Kylo try his hardest to hold back his tears, knowing that the threat that Hux was making was indeed very real. I felt myself repeat the same three words that I had spoken before, knowing that this may be the last time I ever get to speak them to his face.
“I thought that taking both of your lives would be the ending that I needed.” Hux smiled cruel at Kylo. “But it turns out, keeping your wife for myself, and making you suffer is much better than giving you both a quick-”
His words were cut off as a blaster shot went directly through his head, his body immediately slumping towards the ground, the lightsaber falling to the floor with him.
I stood, paralyzed in shock, as I watched Hux collapse, his body eventually coated in his own blood. Two hands grabbed my shoulders and my gaze moved to rest on my husbands face.
“Oh God.”
His arms gently wrapped around me, and I did the same, hugging him as if I would never see him again.
My tears began to seep into the material of his shirt, as I felt his own begin to soak my own. Eventually, I pulled away and kissed him gently on the lips, which he returned passionately.
We broke away and turned to see Captain Phasma standing at the entrance of the Escape Pod, her blaster in hand.
“How did-”
“Hux wasn’t stupid enough to use the fighter ships. I knew he’d come here first.” Her voice was clipped and she shook her head as she stared at his body. “What a monster he was.”
Kylo turned back to me, his eyebrows furrowing as he saw the blood beginning to soak through my bandages. “Did he hurt you?”
“Hit me in the side a few times... and in the face.” I winced lightly as he wrapped his arm around me, beginning to lead me towards the door. “But I’ll be fine.”
“Let’s get you to the med bay.” without another word, I felt him sweep me off my feet and into his arms.
“Ben, I’m fine. I can walk.”
“I’m not risking it.... I’m not risking anything with you again. That was far too close.” His voice was small, almost afraid to show anymore vulnerability than he had so far.
I gently cupped his face, and his gaze focused on me.
“I’m not going anywhere.” I smiled softly, and his own smile began to form on his face.
“Good. Because I’m not either.”

Until Death Do Us Part (Part 2)
A/N: I’m so glad you guys liked part 1. :) Had plenty of fun writing this part. Enjoy!
- M <3
------
The hall leading down to the holding cell was dark and cold, empty and haunting. Despite walking down them several times during his time here, General Hux couldn’t help the shiver running down his spine as he heard the earsplitting scream of pain through the door of the cell he was looking for. Kylo Ren must arrived early for interrogations.
With a push of a button, the door quickly opened, revealing a rather violent scene in front of the General. The Supreme Leader had the assassin pinned against the wall with the Force, while the tip of his lightsaber pierced the flesh beneath the leather jacket that could not protect him from his certain fate.
Hux could almost feel his heart stutter in his chest at the sound of the sizzling of skin against lightsaber, and he nearly jumped as Kylo Ren jerked his head to face him. Despite wearing his all-too familiar helmet, it was evident that he was angry.
No, not angry... furious. Enraged. Bitter. Desperate. Sad.
There were some things that even a heavy black metal mask could hide, even from people who weren’t Force sensitive.
And this was exactly where Hux had wanted him all along. Maybe the plan had gone a little south. The short tempered Supreme Leader was supposed to have been killed by the assassins in the dinning hall along with his new wife. But maybe this was better.
Kylo Ren, for the first time in his life, was weak. He was distraught and would have no focus except trying to find out who would execute such an attack, leaving his precious Y/N on the brink of death. And all in a matter of seconds, his life would be over before he could question why Hux had pulled a gun from his belt.
But that would be later. The General had to act for just a while longer. Hux cleared his throat before beginning to speak. “Any confession from this criminal?”
“No.” Kylo’s voice modulator was nearly void of any emotion, except for a small hint of pain.
“Maybe a little more pressure will do the trick.” Hux sniffed, his eyes fixed on the assassin in front of him. The man’s eyes widened at his words, but his lips remained shut as the Supreme Leader turned towards his once more. A small smile pulled up the corners of the General’s lips before he turned towards the door. “I will go do some more research on this despicable human’s origins. But I will be back soon enough. But my line will be open if any updates occur. “
Without another word, the fiery haired man left the room, confident that the assassin would remain tight lipped. He had been promised a reward of high value, enough to satisfy whatever remained of his life. But if it should be lost in the process, the First Order would keep what was owed.
The brief reign of Kylo Ren would soon be over... and that of Armitage Hux would begin, and last for years to come.
--
Kylo Ren couldn’t feel any remorse for the man, as the lightsaber dug into his flesh, burning and bleeding the further it pushed in. His screams increased as the pressure did, and yet, not a single word left his lips.
“Who employed you?” He asked once more as he pulled the lightsaber way and deactivating it, his tone hardened as he stared at the beaten man.
The assassin glared at him before speaking. “You sure you want to be wasting time with me when your wife is on her death bed?”
In a matter of seconds, his body was levitated off the ground, smacking the ceiling before slamming onto the floor with a loud thud. A groan escaped his lips before the Supreme Leader pulled him off the floor with the Force, slamming into the wall.
“Any threat to her is a threat to me.” He took a step closer to the disgusting being, before raising a hand, focusing on looking into his memories. Ignoring the man’s loud groans, he dove deep inside with little to no resistance.
“You are to shoot her first.” A blaster was placed in the hands of the assassin. “I will distract him long enough to pull him away from the reception. As soon he’s out the door, aim for the head. She is not to survive.”
“And the money?”
“It will be deposited the moment both of them are dead.” Hux’s face lit up with a sadistic smile.”Do not worry, dear assassin. Your new Supreme Leader rewards those who follow him with no hesitation quite generously.”
Kylo grunted as he pulled himself out of the assassins mind. His heart immediately began to swell with anger as he comprehended who really orchestrated these attacks. The assassin was deadly quiet, his breathing shaking with anticipation of what the temperamental man would do next.
“Since your secret is now out in the open...” Kylo started slowly, controlling his anger. “How much did he offer to pay you?”
“E-Enough.”
“Hm...” in a matter of seconds, the lightsaber was activate and plunged deep inside the chest of the assassin’s chest. A ragged cough was followed by a trail of red blood dripping from his mouth, the man’s eyes focused on his killer’s mask as he fought to hold onto life.
Kylo Ren removed his mask, tossing it to the ground as he smiled slightly at the man dying before him. “I suppose your money can’t save you now, can it?” The flickering blade was ripped from the assassin’s chest and a spray of scarlet blood burst from the wound. His eyes rolled to the back of his head before his lifeless body dropped to the ground.
The Supreme Leader stared at the dead body in disgust for a few moments before reaching for his helmet on the floor and placing it back on, and contacting General Hux. “I think I have a rather... significant... update for you, General. Report down here immediately.”
---
A/N: Okay so... Chapter 3 is definitely in the works now. XD Sorry to leave y’all with a cliff hanger. But it’s a little fun to write this way, not going to lie. :) Anyway, I will see you next update! Have a great day!

TAG LIST (Comment or message me if you’d like to be on it for future updates!):
@angelias134
------
The destruction that ensued the moment that Kylo Ren found the holding cell to be empty upon returning to it was beyond catastrophic.
In all of her time serving the First Order, Captain Phasma had never seen the Supreme Leader fall into a fit of rage so destructive as this one. She found herself standing outside of the cell, standing rigid as she listened to his lightsaber slash through whatever solid object that stood before him.
It only took seconds before his screams erupted, crackled shards of rage as they came through the voice modulator of his mask. The Supreme Leader was beyond angry.... he was devastated.
He hadn’t been able to keep his wife and guests safe at the wedding banquet, and he hadn’t been able to sense Hux’s betrayal even within his own ship. And now... he couldn’t hold the weasel accountable for his actions.
The lightsaber shut off.
A few moments of silence that followed were almost deafening, compared to the chaos that had ensued previously. But they were essential, as the white hot rage that had blinded the short tempered man began to fade away, his rationality returning to him.
Lightsaber still in hand, Kylo Ren made his way out of the cell and turning to the silver plated figure waiting near. “Do you recall the numbers of the troops who were on guard at the door?”
Slightly startled at the sudden evenness of the Supreme Leader’s tone, the Captain fumbled with her words momentarily before speaking. “Yes, Supreme Leader. JW-786 and TA-887.”
“Good. Kill them, but first, extract any information they may have of Hux’s escape.” Kylo began to walk down the hall, the Captain following not far behind. “If they don’t speak, bring them to me. But first, organize search parties on board, and see if any escape pods have been fired. You know what to do from-”
“Supreme Leader!”
The two masked figures’ heads snapped forward to find a doctor rushing towards them. Kylo’s heart immediately jumped in his chest as he saw the urgency on the man’s face.
“What news?”
“Lady Y/N has finally opened her eyes.”
---
“I feel we must take your temperature once more, just to be sure.”
“Only one more test, Lady Y/N. We need you to recover in full health.”
Y/N sat quietly as she watched the numerous doctors fuss over her body, deciding whether or not a certain dosage of a particular medication would be more beneficial than that of another.
She frankly didn’t care. Her mind had wondered free from the bed she lay in, drifting into oblivion as only one thought presided above the rest: where was her husband?
It has only been a few days to a week since she had seen Ben, but for her, it felt like an eternity. She did not know whether or not she would return after the complications only days previous. Y/N longed to be with him once more, to know that despite the possible devastation that the attempt on her life could’ve brought, their love would be strong enough to keep them together.
A love that was far greater than any love that existed before or after theirs.
A love that stretched far... across the stars.
Heavy footsteps broke Y/n from her train of thought and looked up in time to see Kylo Ren entering the room at a rather rapid pace. Even with his helmet on, she could almost feel his relief radiating off of him in waves.
“Out. All of you.” His tone was clipped and it only took a handful of moments before the staff had fully evacuated the room.
“Ben...” She whispered softly, her eyes pooling with tears as he removed his helmet in a matter of seconds, tossing it to the side along with his lightsaber he carried in hand before leaning in to press his lips urgently against her own. Closing her eyes, the Supreme Leader’s wife happily returned the kiss, but winced moments later as a small sharp pain pricked her bandaged wound.
“Are you okay?” his eyes reflected intense concern and worry, almost as if he feared that Y/N would slip right through his fingers. “Do you need me to call them back in? I-”
“Sssh.” A small giggle bubbled past Y/N’s lips at his nearly comical overreaction. “My side is still a little sore. But I haven’t bled through my bandages. There is no need to worry, my stars.”
The anxiousness slowly disappeared from Kylo’s face at the use of the all too familiar nickname for him, and a soft smile pulled up his lips as he sat on the edge of the bed
His hand reached to take hers and it was silent for a few minutes before he spoke once more, this time in a nearly broken whisper.
“I really thought I was going to lose you.”
“Ben....” Y/N’s lips nearly trembled as she watched his eyes water with tears, one eventually escaping and streaking down his cheek. “I’m okay.”
“You almost weren’t okay.” His normally controlled tone had cracked and her heart nearly split into pieces at sound of his pain. “I didn’t know if you would ever wake up. You have no idea how destroyed I would’ve been if you had left me.”
Y/N looked at him softly, taking in his appearance. His eyes, nearly always warm and fun of life when around her, were anxious yet full of relief and love as well. His brown orbs were red from tears that had spilled over the time her consciousness had slipped from my grasp.
“You will always have me, my love. Beside you or in spirit, I will always be with you.”
“No harm will come to you ever again.” He brought his wife’s hand up to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on the cool smooth skin. “You’re the only thing that matters.”
A wave of uncertainty rolled over her, as the memory of walking on him during his conversations with the Scavenger played in her mind. Certainly that connection mattered. And what of his duties to the First Order?
The Supreme Leader frowned, feeling her unease through the Force. “What troubles you? Do you doubt what I say?”
“No...” Y/N hesitated before continuing. “But you have so many other things in your life that are important. The First Order... the Scavenger...”
“The Scavenger?” He was fairly confused, not sure where this was coming from.
Kylo had not shared of his connection with the Scavenger through the Force with his wife, which he assumed would be better in the end. But it wasn’t as if he had anything to hide. The relationship was strictly platonic, absolutely no feelings existing between the two, at least from his end.
Y/N’s cheeks flushed slightly and she looked away quickly. A gloved finger gently pulled her gaze back to face her husband.
“Why would you think the Scavenger matters more than you?”
“I walked in one day while you were... communicating with her.” Y/N shrugged slightly before continuing. “I just know that’s something we won’t ever have. I don’t want to take you away from something as important as that.”
Kylo had begun to shake his head before she had even finished her last sentence.
“There is not a doubt in my mind who I would chose if it came down between the two of you.” His voice was a gentle, warm murmur. “I love you. And you are not taking some connection away from me. She will be no use to me in only a number of days. There is no need to worry, my stars. No one shines brighter than you do in my eyes.”
Y/N nodded slowly, her eyes sparkling with tears but also relief. With a bright, rarely seen smile, the Supreme Leader leaned in and pressed his lips against her own. “We are going to be okay, my stars. I promise you-”
“I wouldn’t be so sure of those words if I were you, Supreme Leader.” Kylo turned to find General Hux standing behind him, the Supreme Leader’s lightsaber clipped onto his own belt.
A smug grin pulled at the corners of his lips as he pulled out a gun with his remaining hand, aiming directly at Kylo Ren’s forehead before chirping, “I think we have a few things to take care of, don’t we?”

Across the Stars (Part 14)
A/N: Hello, my lovelies! I hope you all are doing well and are staying healthy! This past week, I have been trying to decide what my new update schedule should be, and I think that I’m going to aim to update at least once a week.I’m thinking Fridays, but let me know what you all think! I only have three weeks left in my semester, and then I’m free... for two weeks and then I begin a few summer courses to get ahead. BUT.... those two weeks will have quite a few uploads! Anyway, I hope you like this chapter, and I will try to have my new one part imagine up by the end of the week (no promises, though!)
-M <3
Y/N'S POV
My eyes fluttered opens lowly, sore and red with fatigue. I was still in Ben's arms, leaned against the wall. I glanced up at him. His head leaned back against it, his eyes closed and hair falling slightly over his eyes. I let out a small sigh and leaned against his chest, closing my eyes as I soaked in the rare moment of peace.
Unfortunately, it was not meant to last.
Only a few brief moments later, the door opened with a sharp woosh, and a familiar silver-plated figure stepped into the room. My hand instinctually grasped onto Ben’s arm.
"Get up, girl." Phasma snapped, her hand wrapping around my arm and yanking me from where I sat. A new hand grabbed the other, pulling me back towards its source.
"She's not going anywhere." Ben’s voice was deadly, clearly awake now. The normally emotionless Captain let out a small snort.
"Wake up, Ben. You are no longer my commander. Your words are empty. You are a prisoner of the First Order."
"Do not call me that." He hissed, not releasing his hold on me. She shook her head.
"I have to take her. She needs to be questioned."
"By who?"
"Garrik Turon, your new replacement. You may remember him from when you started training under Snoke." I could almost hear her amusement under her mask. I had no idea who that was, so I tried to believe that I had nothing to fear. But as soon as I saw Ben's face, my confidence shattered into a million pieces. As much as he tried to hide it, I could still see the fear glistening in his eyes. It quickly morphed into white hot rage.
"You can't take her to him."
"I can, and I will." Phasma grabbed me and pulled me up again. But as Ben rose to get me again, a dart of some sort shot out of Phasma's wrist and sunk into his neck.
"No!" I could only watch in horror as he dropped to the ground, his eyes open and body twitching.
"It only stunned him, you stupid girl." She growled, yanking me towards the door. "Let's go!"
"B-Ben." I cried, trying to pull away and go back to his side. A familiar click of a gun sounded only mere inches from my ear, making me freeze.
"I suggest that you walk out of the cell before your beloved watches your blood coat the floor." Phasma spat icily. "He is not here to save you now."
I looked down at him sadly, watching as the effects started to wear off slowly. I had to do this, for Ben's sake.
I walked slowly out of the room, terrified to go forward but not daring to go back. My bottom lip caught between my teeth as I held back tears, hearing the door shut quietly behind me. My life hung by a thread.
"Let's go." The gun pressed against the small of my back, and I felt myself stumble forward. We walked through several long corridors before we reached our destination. "Go inside. He's waiting."
Trying to hide my fear, I entered the room. A dark figure sat in a chair, a simple hood covering his face.
"So... this is the girl who turned Kylo Ren soft." His voice sent a shiver down my spine. He rose and removed his hood. My eyebrows rose a little in surprise. This man was only a handful of years older than myself, not too much younger than Ben. He had soft wavy brown hair and a scar that ran directly across his right across his right eye. If his lips weren't twisted in a nasty sneer, I would’ve considered him somewhat handsome.
"I didn't make him weak." I swallowed, before continuing to speak. "I-"
A brilliant flash of pain cut me off, and a startled cry of pain escaped my lips as my body dropped to the floor.
"I didn't ask you to speak." His voice was quiet, a slight twinge of amusement laced in with his calm demeanor, watching as I gasped for breath. My head was throbbing and something inside my chest was beginning to burn, like a growing fire. "Do you know who I am? You may speak now. “
"No." I managed to whimper.
"I'm Garrik Turon. But you can call me Lord Turon." He looked down at my darkly, disgust evident in his gaze. "I'm ten times stronger than your little boyfriend ever was, and will ever be. I do not give in when the first set of pretty Y/E/C eyes and long legs come along!"
I felt myself slowly begin to cry as I felt the fire continue to burn deeper in my chest, and the pounding in my head grow harder to bear. Who knew when it would be over? Or if I’d ever see Ben again?
---
Ben's POV
I slammed my fist into the wall for the fifth time since she was taken away. Blood began to soak through the dark fabric of my gloves, but I could not even begin to care in the slightest.
They had taken Y/N away.
They took her to him.
The thought only made me angrier than I already was, my jaw tensing as my fist clenched again.
I had known Garrik for years. He was just as bad as I was, if not worse. The friend I once knew knew nearly nothing of the Light. Snoke had made sure of that.
(FLASHBACK TEN YEARS)
"Do you have family?" I asked after a particularly grueling duel, sitting next to him on the bench inside the training center. He wasn’t much younger than I was, perhaps fourteen or fifteen.
"I do." His smile was bright, reaching his eyes.. "I'm hoping they'll be able to visit one day."
I winced slightly, the painful images of my mother and father racing through my mind. And of course... my uncle. But that didn’t matter anymore. The past was in the past.
"Maybe. But for now, we have to concentrate on training."
"Absolutely." Garrik looked at me. "Will you help me?”
"Sure. Why not? Let’s get going.”
(FLASHBACK END)
Not even a week later, Garrik received word that his family had been murdered. It did not take much sleuthing to know who had been behind the vicious attack. I expected nothing less from someone with that much hatred.
But after that moment in the training room, I never saw him smile again. I knew that whatever light, whatever inch of happiness was left inside him was gone.
The Dark Side was all he had left.
After that, he trained hard. Just as hard as me. When Snoke appointed me as Commander, everything changed between us. Whatever friendship we had was destroyed.
He became consumed by jealously, and I frankly didn't blame him at all. But after that, I kept my distance and he kept his. All that remained was a growing tension. I hadn't seen him in a year or two.
As I found myself lost in my thoughts, the door opened and my head snapped up. Phasma took a step into the room. "Where the hell is she?"
"She will be brought in in a few minutes." She hesitated, before continuing. "But first, Ren, I think we need to talk."
"There's nothing to talk about." I shrugged absentmindedly, pulling off my gloves and examining the damage my fists had taken only moments earlier..
"There is everything to talk about!" Phasma hissed. "You betrayed us! You betrayed the First Order for a girl!"
"I know what I did." My gaze shifted to her once again, hard and cold. "And I have no regret for my actions."
She knelt in front of me.
"You came to us, remember? You felt the Calling and you left. You came to find a greater purpose, more potential."
"Shut up." I snapped. "You don't know anything."
"I do know something." She scoffed. "That girl will die, Ren. What then?"
"I won't let her die." I narrowed my eyes. "I will protect her, always."
“But it doesn’t seem that you can now, does it? Not even your love can save-”
I stretched my hand out, starting to choke her. "What would you know about love?”
"If you do not let me go in five seconds, you will never see Y/N again." Phasma choked out and I immediately released my hold on her. She slowly rose to her feet, and started walking to the door, pausing and looking back at me. “I loved you... more than you would ever know.”
I couldn’t comprehend which was more powerful, my disgust or my confusion. I gazed up at her, before speaking. “What of it now?”
Even through her mask, I could tell she was torn in two. I did not feel anything remotely close to what she felt for me, but surely her loyalty to me could be manipulated to be stronger than to those for the First Order.
Phasma’s helmet tipped upwards. “It sure doesn’t matter now, does it?”
The room fell silent.
"Bring in the prisoner."
The door opened once again, and two Stormtroopers entered the room. In between them, was Y/N.
She did not look well at all. Her eyes were wet with tears, rimmed red with exhaustion. Her hair was a mess, and I could see slight bruising around her arms. I immediately rose to my feet.
"What did he do to her?”
"Not my business nor my place to disclose anything related to the First Order’s interrogation procedures." Phasma’s voice hardened once more. "Ask him when you see him tomorrow."
Without another word, she stormed out of the room, the troopers not far behind. The door shut not long after their departure. Y/N stood silently in the middle of the room, shaking slightly.
"What did he do to you?" I whispered, walking slowly and cautiously to her side.
"He..." Her voice cracked and she paused, as if she was praying for her tears to disappear. "He hurt me. In ways that I have never been hurt before. My body felt like it was on fire." I looked at her, and I instantly knew that she was leaving something out of her story.
"What else?"
"Nothing."
"Tell me." I said firmly, taking her hand in mine. "I need to know."
"He touched my head." Y/N whispered, her voice weak as she spoke further. "And he put a vision inside." I squeezed her hand when she hesitated to continue.
"Please."
"You died." Y/N whimpered. "Over and over again. I was next to you, and couldn't do anything but watch as he killed you.”
"I'm not going to die." I pulled her closer to me. "Don't worry."
"I lost track of how many times he made me watch you die. It feels like it’s destined to happen." She softly, numbly.. "What if it’s what lays ahead of us?"
"No." I said firmly. "It won't. I'm not going to die and neither are you."
“It seems that are chances of surviving these days have been fairly small.”
"I'm seeing hint tomorrow. I will kill him myself, if or when it comes down to it.”
"You don't have your lightsaber."
"No." I shook my head. "But I know how to without it."
“How-”
"Don't dwell on it anymore, my stars." I kissed her forehead softly. "Come, close your eyes and rest. That is something that we both need more than anything now.”
