E’ il ritorno dei guaglioni sulla traccia (mi piace dire), utilizzo questa citazione per promuovere quello che è il videoclip del progetto che mi vede coinvolto con Stuta P, singolo che a sua volta anticiperà l’intero album, il seguito di quello che è stato partorito già nel  Gennaio del 2008 “Tony Ruffiano & Jonny Barletta” , un qualcosa a cui tenevamo in maniera particolare.

Ma chi sono Ruffiano&Barletta ? Sono i nostri alterego, “il B-boy fiero” che è in noi, quello che entrambi custodiamo da quasi 20 anni e l’intero progetto lo identifico come una sorta di  tributo a tutto ciò che abbiamo dato per questa cultura e alla sua scena underground.

The beautiful thing about living in an island (plus 7,000 more) is that even if you took the wrong turn, you still find yourself lost in a beautiful paradise. That's exactly what happened during this trip. This island promised a spectacular view of huge ocean waves crashing into cliffs. It was a short hike to the top of the cliff but I still managed to scrape my knee #ouch and tripled my heart rate #labdab because for every step forward, I got knocked back two steps back #sandmonster When I finally caught up with the group, they were trying to decide which way to go. "Why are WE stopping? Are we lost?" #panting #butgladforthebreak The trail led downhill which didn't make sense but it was the only visible trail so we continued on and found ourselves lost in this beautiful secluded beach with no othet soul in sight (except we knew peope were there because they left their trash #ugh ). VETERUNZ “Prima Repubblica”

Finalmente fuori per Klubasic/Labdab, disponibile su tutte le piattaforme digitali: Ultima produzione del decennale collettivo hip hop di terra di bari: 7peccati Veterunz: letteralmente "I reduci" Reduci di una cultura e di una scena che li ha resi orfani. Nel marasma del rap diventato mainstream, fedeli al boombap. Scomodi dal giorno zero. Fanno dei loro limiti il punto di forza. Il logo riprende volutamente quello dei celeberrimi Run Dmc, il quale, sebbene sia stato utilizzato in tutte le salse (anche non strettamente attinenti all'hip hop) marca un'appartenza ed una legacy che ora più che mai premeva ribadire. ‘Prima Repubblica’ è un concept basato su 7 tracce (+ 2 bonus tracks) con un focus sulle tematiche sociali senza far mancare però virate più ‘intimiste’ e non solo. L’artwork è ispirata alla politica italiana a cavallo tra gli ‘anni 70/80. La pubblicazione del disco viene lanciata dall’uscita del video di una delle tracce ivi contenute. Buon ascolto
