I knew it would happen, and here it is: some OCs I made for Lamput! ^_^ Goggles Doc is Specs Doc's younger cousin. Still living in the town he moved from, Goggles Doc works for The Other Lab in The Other City. They might not be as flashy as The Lab, but they certainly seem a bit more altruistic in their invention ideas. A too-long-coming trip visiting her cousin meant she met Lamput for the first time, and she was immediately fascinated by this orange blob. Hiding him away on her trip back home and (ethically) interviewing him and collecting a small sample of his DNA, she's decided she could help The Other Lab make a new discovery of their own! Unfortunately, a few bad eggs at The Other Lab caused some messes in the incubating period, leaving to... ...Lassie! A combination of Lamput DNA, a pitched blueberry lassi drink, and an old compact mirror, she unfortunately doesn't have the abilities as her "older brother". However, she can do something he can't: she can change to any color she wants! This means she's just as good as hiding as Lamput! However, she has less of a reason to hide. The Other Lab doesn't want to lock her up like The Lab does for Lamput. Instead, she gets a lot of teaching, both to help her grow, and to also further judge her abilities. Being young, she is currently in the care of Goggles Doc, her surrogate mother.

Meet Snek! Honestly, I'm still debating whether I should use it as a Lamput OC instead because I wanna see if I can make more and choose from there, but at the same time, the little fella's starting to grow on me 😭

Anyways some info on the guy, I initially wanted to make a yarn-based Lamput OC, so I took inspo on a yarn thread (and a funny post about using a tiny thread of yarn as a final crochet design with eyes glued on it) and made it look like a snake and have it work with Specs and Skinny. It was supposed to create stuff out of yarn, but it didn't feel right (and I didn't know what texture and which color would work for it) and ended up making it be able to stretch and retract, inspired by the Semibots in R.E.P.O, and made it work with Rival Doc, and later on work with Specs and Skinny after Rival gets fired, I guess??? 😭

OC creation is confusing, no shit, idk how I've gone this far

I know the yarn I used isn't their actual colors, but I just liked the colors and thought it'd work

Like the first crochet post, I'm drawing in the parts that didn't get included (I also decided to leave Lamput faceless irl so I can do more expressions on their face + the glue gun is still missing and I can't really be bothered anymore 😭)

A really rough sketch of two of specs and skinny's highschool friends meeting up at the lab, I actually never introduced Books before, i called him books because he likes books a lot, fiction-nonfiction, why isn't he a librarian? Just because he likes books doesn't automatically set him to be a librarian T0T

I just imagine her to admire her "Uncle Boss" alot and aspire to work in the lab, the one boss is running. So far she already worked in other labs already, and just now she's interning at boss' lab. Possibly to gain boss' trust to be his successor or somethin- SIgh, i don't know how to words, i havent spoke english like a thesaurus in years.
