In general... it seems to me that it is quite difficult for Sally to open up to people, despite the fact that he is a very kind boy. It seems to me that he may be shocked by excessive tactility and emotionality

So, what about an overly active f!reader who likes to hold hands with friends, and hugs at a meeting, and kisses on the cheeks (sorry, this is literally me, and at the same time all my friends are not particularly tactile, aha ...). I was thinking that the reader might like Sal... how do you think he would react? And yes, it can be either fan fiction or headcannons, whatever you want aha. I will read everything with pleasure!!!

Everyone described you with few words; bubbly, a social butterfly and VERY affectionate. You were not shy to pour your heart out to someone when needed, but you also were the first one to help a friend in need.

You always thought that being this touchy and nice to people was just common manners, until you be friended Sal Fisher.

Sal Fisher was an interesting individual, his everyday life was affected by years of torment explained by his flashbacks. He wasted a lot of his youth because Sal was isolating himself, not talking to anyone, not even his father. Even though his ''beloved'' father wasn't trying to help him to begin with. Though, this caused the young boy to develop an awkwardness to someone's touch and Sally could not properly explain to someone how he felt, he couldn't quite put words on his true feelings. Being touched, brushed or even just the thought of all this, made Sal feel something he couldn't even express. Sal was hollow, basically a shell of a human.

You luckily moved to Nockfell, the infamous town that your family wanted to move in so bad. You and your family landed in the Addison's apartments, there you met the tall Larry Jonhson. It was easy to get along with this guy anyway, you found yourself very lucky that day because the metalhead introduced you to Sal Fisher. You two will eventually end up together, but you don't know that yet.

For you, it was love at first sight. You Immediately complimented the way Sal presented himself. Basically showering him with compliments, especially his mask and hair. It wasn't your fault that you're this friendly, its the usual y/n. Sal Fisher felt almost claustrophobic by your gestures, weirdly appreciated that. You were not aware but this boy is secretly craving compliments, being this lonely for this long had affected the poor boy.

As the weeks passed, you and the blue haired boy hung out often, which made you delighted. You two were eating lunch together while the others had an art project to complete. Mr. Fisher and you were discussing when suddenly Sal made you laugh, your reflexes got the best of you and pushed him gently. Sal smiled to himself as his face turned crimson. ''God you are so funny, you need to stop my cheeks are hurting!!'' You confessed as you chuckled lightly. ''Pretty sure my name is Sal ,y/n'' your crush responded. You punched his shoulder gently, just as a way of saying to shut it. You knew that Sal was not introduced properly to your love language, but luckily you asked his closest friends about all of this. They approved to you that the masked boy isn't disturbed by it. It motivated you to not hide your true self, since your upcoming boyfriend is fond of it.

In an instant, the bell rang. You got up quickly and held Sal's hand to make sure he's following. You didn't want to lose him in the crowded halls right? Or did you just want an excuse to hold his hand? Sal figured this out but never told you.

Arrived to his locker, you were so happy that day and your nature took over suddenly, you peeked a small kiss on the cheek of Sal's prosthetic. '' See ya Sal! Goodluck with your math test-'' You yelled out as you escaped. You were proud of yourself too, you really liked Sal and the only way to show it is with affection and physical touch. You could not believe you actually did that. The next class felt like it was the longest ever, the school system was seperating you from your future lover.

Meanwhile, Sal's train of thoughts was going faster than usual. He froze in place for a good 5 minutes with his face hotter than when he had the flu. He thought to himself that you might like him, but Sal reasoned himself after saying that you probably do that to everyone. He wasn't so special, he thought. Normally, affecting gestures are not welcome for Sal Fisher, but you stood out. He actually felt great in your embrace. Even though he's not quick enough to hug back sometimes, he melts every time.

''Man I know you like her, you don't even let us touch you dude.'' Larry said after Sal reported everything of today. Sal closed his locker door a bit louder than he should've.

''Fuck off Larry. She's just different I guess.'' Sal retorted, what's left of his face turned a tint of pink, ballet pink to be exact. Sal thought to himself that he was pleased that the school day finally ended, they could finally go home and play som- Sal's thoughts were cut off by you hugging Sal as a way of greeting. He felt his legs soften beneath him. Sal's heart skipped various beats. '' Hi Sal!! Oh hi Larry! What are you guys up to after school?'' You smiled wildly as you got closer to Sal, which made him shiver. Larry started to smirk in a more of an evil way ''Oh I'm actually busy tonight but I know that Sal wanted to hang out with you y/n'' Sal bumped into him ''accidentally''.

Your cheeks flushed as you looked away ''I would love to! My parents are picking me up today so- text me okay?'' You ended your sentence with a small wink directed to Sal. You quickly left to go in your guardian's car. Suddenly you didn't feel like walking like everyone else, you were so happy you skipped your way to the car. Sal's jaw was hanging since Larry opened his ''dumb mouth'' as Sal would say.

''Youre welcome my man!'' Larry chuckled.

'' Get lost.''

Ok adult au travis comes home to the brothers (Sal and Larry) with a black eye just like highschool, idk he could have gotten mugged or smt, and instead of doing anything reasonable he tries locking himself in a room until it goes away

Sal is talking Travis into telling them what happened and Larry is a Gizmo away from breaking the door down and grabbing his baby. They know not to test Travis when he starts hiding quietly. Nothing good ever comes from that. In fact that's most fights between Larry and Travis. But this is serious and they need to know if someone is hurting Travis again. Especially if he works in a toxic environment. Be it, homophobic or jealousy. Sal usually can get the story out of Travis when they were just rude but physical violence is a straight route to Travis shutting down again. Larry, the myth the legend himself, after calming down (which is never a good sign) takes a nice little trip to Travis' job and gets the answer out of one of his lovely coworkers. Lucky for him Travis has many concerned coworkers after his manager smacked him around a bit for a mistake the manager made. Of course, Larry would love to drag the manager out and beat him up in the parking lot, he can't Travis would never talk to him again if he did. He needs their movie nights or his weeks will have no meaning!! By the time he's back home, Sal has Travis laid on the couch with some frozen veggie bag sitting on the eye. They have talked it out and Travis tries to apologize but Larry shushes him with his finger. The brothers hate when he starts apologizing. They always tell him to stop doing that when he shuts down, it's not an intentional decision and honestly he needs his space or it could get worse. Larry does beat up the manager later though. He ha the nerve to complain to his friend that Travis either rejected his advances or was gay (whichever Idea you prefer for the drama) and had the misfortune of being near Larry and his biker friends. They took turns beating his ass.

headcanon larry is VERY particular about his hair and never let's anyone near it. it may not look like it but he does take a lot of pride on having it that long even though it started because he wanted to look like a band singer he really liked. does he brush it as often as he should? no. is it filled with mats? kind of!! lisa sometimes can't get to them and has to wrestle larry so she can cut those off? ABSO-FUCKING LUTELY!!

if he lets you touch it, braid it or style it you are hereby considered one of his besties for life. my man turns into a straight up puppy and leans onto your hand when you do as much as smooth out his hair so it doesn't look like a bird's nest (it doesn't work, btw)

                                   Quem mexeu no meu queijo

Quem mexeu no meu queijo – escrito por Spencer Johnson M.D. traduzido por Maria Clara de Biase – 61º edição – editora record (Rio de Janeiro) – 2010.

Introdução

           Esse livro apresenta uma parábola conhecida como ‘’A historia’’, essa que é introduzida em uma reunião de amigos por um de seus membros.  ‘’A Historia’’ possui o nome de ‘’Quem mexeu no meu queijo’’, que inicia com a apresentação de quatro personagens, dois duendes e dois ratos, os quais possuem personalidades distintas e modos diferentes de se comportar diante as mudanças. Mesmo assim, todos possuem um objetivo similar, que é ‘’obter o queijo’’. O queijo nessa parábola representa aquilo que o individuo sonha, almeja, deseja conquistar, algo que trará realização pessoal e/ou profissional, seja em seus relacionamentos pessoais ou no trabalho.

           Os ratos são personagens mais instintivos com personalidades mais ligadas a sobrevivência, já os duendes são mais complexos, possuem uma personalidade mais profunda, com emoções e medos característicos dos humanos.  Ambas as duplas lidam de maneira diferente quando procuram o tão almejado ‘’queijo’’ e também são singulares quando o encontram e após quando o desfrutam.  A obra apresenta esse progresso desde o inicio da jornada pela busca do objetivo até o inicio das mudanças e conflitos internos que o tempo proporciona a cada individuo pela consequência de obter sucesso, como por exemplo, orgulho, procrastinação, medo, insegurança, ira e entre outros.

           Após o termino da historia o locutor da mesma discute com seus colegas o ponto de vista que cada um possui e a reflexão que a busca do queijo remete. O grupo reunido debate cada aspecto da historia e cada personagem apresentado comparando-os no mundo real.

           Spencer Johnson é um famoso autor com livros vendidos, publicados e traduzidos no mundo todo. Assim como Kenneth Blanchard é coautor de – O Gerente Minuto, um livro de gerenciamento famoso no mundo todo. Com suas obras já vendeu mais de 11 milhões de livros e teve suas obras traduzidas em mais de 25 línguas. Johnson possui vários Best Sellers, entre eles se destacam os da Serie Minutos. Seu sucesso já apareceu em grandes reportagens, por exemplo, na CNN, The Larry King Show, USA Today e entre outros.

 Sobre o Livro

           De fácil leitura e compreensão, quem mexeu no meu queijo descreve de forma simples e objetiva em uma parábola os desafios da vida de cada individuo e a busca pelos sonhos, objetivos e metas na vida pessoal e profissional, em um universo de constante mudança. O labirinto representa o desafio que cada pessoa encara no dia a dia, ou seja, é o tempo que o individuo gasta em busca do sonho desejado, do ‘’queijo em questão’’.  

           A obra é dividida em três partes, sendo elas: Uma reunião de amigos ex-colegas de classe, a historia, que é a parábola sobre o queijo e um debate final do grupo reunido após ouvir a historia.  O Autor também sempre estrutura seu texto com frases de efeito que denotam aprendizado e exemplos práticos, alguns deixados por um dos personagens da história do livro.

Síntese da obra

           Neste livro o autor, Spencer Jonhson, supõe que todo individuo está à procura de um queijo. Esse ‘’queijo’’ pode ser retratado como um sonho, objetivo, realização, algo que traga felicidade ao sujeito que o procura.

           Spencer acrescenta que existe um labirinto que representa o emprenho em conseguir o que se deseja, onde você gasta seu tempo atrás do objetivo que trás realização. Há também outro viés na obra, esse que ocorre após o sucesso na busca do queijo, pois o sujeito que obtém o queijo a realização em conseguir o que queria se acomoda e fica preso ao tempo e ao êxtase causado pelo prazer em ter o queijo. A realização faz com que o individuo sinta apego ao que conquistou e deixe de procurar novos queijos, com medo de perder o que teve tanto trabalho para conseguir e com medo de que mexam no seu queijo. Com o tempo a admiração e o triunfo da conquista daquele queijo perdem o valor e ele se torna velho, comum, ultrapassado, chegando ao ponto de estragar, mas o apego não permite que seu dono o largue. Muitas pessoas são assim na vida real, temem as mudanças e se apegam as conquistas passadas, mortas no tempo, com medo de encarar o labirinto novamente.

           Por isso cabe às pessoas aceitarem que o mundo está sempre em mudança e que estabilidade não existe, não adianta se gabar para o resto da vida por suas conquistas e deixar de lado o futuro. A mudança ocorrerá queira você ou não, sendo assim é muito mais divertido e vantajoso sair atrás de novos queijos por vontade própria do que ser obrigado a agir sobre pressão e reabilitação.

           Na fábula em questão o autor apresenta seus quatro personagens, são eles, Haws e Hems, os mais espertos com mentes e emoções complexas, retratados como duendes. A outra dupla são dois ratos, Sniff e Scuarry, estes que são mais instintivos e procuram por sobrevivência, um deles com olfato aguçado farejava o queijo e o outro corria em busca da direção que seu colega apontava, pois era um excelente corredor. Ambas as duplas usavam seus pares de tênis de corrida e procuravam por queijo pelo enorme labirinto que os desafiava. Um dia os quatro corredores acharam uma enorme base cheia de queijo, Haws e Hems acreditaram que não precisariam procurar por mais pelo resto da vida, pois havia queijo naquele local suficiente para todos, por esse motivo se acomodaram e começaram a procrastinar deixaram o labirinto de lado. Enquanto isso a dupla de ratos aceitou que aquilo não duraria pra sempre e continuaram procurando mais queijos pelo labirinto, usufruindo o que tinham encontrado e buscando por mais todos os dias.                     O tempo logo passou e o queijo da base foi se acabando aos poucos até que um dia simplesmente deixou de existir, Haws e Hems ficaram confusos e incrédulos, queriam aquela realização de ter o queijo da enorme base de queijo para sempre, diferente da dupla de ratos que seguia o instinto de sobrevivência eles não queriam ir procurar por mais pelo labirinto, estavam emocionalmente ligados ao queijo da enorme base de queijo.            Somente Haws aceitou a perda do queijo e se arriscou labirinto adentro, no começo hesitou não queria aceitar o fato de ter perdido aquilo que lutou para conseguir, mas foi lutando mesmo assim. Ao se arriscar pelo labirinto percebeu que o mesmo havia mudado, as coisas mudaram muito no tempo que ficou parado e levou tempo para se adaptar. Já Hems não quis ir junto com o amigo, queria ficar ali, com seu ‘’queijo’’ para sempre, afinal era seu, sua conquista de vida. Haws cresceu no labirinto, aprendeu muito e agora já achava partes de queijo por onde procurava, também deixava mensagens de ajuda para seu colega, com a esperança de que ele um dia se animasse e fosse assim como ele em busca de novos queijos de uma nova jornada. Neste tempo todo que passou a dupla de ratos já havia encontrado outra enorme base de queijo e mesmo assim procuravam ainda por outras. Haws também achou essa base de queijo que era maior do que a de outrora, mas agora seguiu o exemplo dos ratos e saia à procura de mais se antecipando as mudanças. Pensou em trazer seu amigo Hems consigo, mas logo descartou a ideia, pois Hems estava triste e não queria mudar, queria ficar na base antiga para sempre sem inovar, com medo do desconhecido. Então ele descartou a ideia e opinou por esperar o amigo, para que um dia ele aceitasse as mudanças e saísse a se aventurar no labirinto por conta própria, esperava também que o mesmo seguisse suas mensagens e refletisse sobre a busca do queijo e sobre o prazer em buscar e encontrar queijos novos sempre. E assim encerra a parábola. 

Critica sobre a obra

           Pontos questionáveis da obra: não há um final para cada personagem da parábola, deixando em aberto o que poderia acontecer com eles, também não foram apresentadas consequências para quem se acomodou na busca do queijo.

           Não há aprofundamento dos personagens que fazem a reunião na primeira parte do livro, tornando-os rasos e superficiais. O autor também poderia ter omitido a última parte do livro para que o próprio leitor tirasse suas conclusões da história.

           A obra é recomendada para pessoas que buscam organização em suas vidas e principalmente para aquelas que temem as mudanças, sejam elas no trabalho, na família e até mesmo nos relacionamentos. O fato é que tudo muda e tudo se transforma, sendo assim, cabe a cada pessoa aceitar essa condição e seguir em frente. Este livro também é interessante para crianças, pois pode educa-las desde cedo ensinando-as que a mudança é natural e que por mais que elas obtenham sucesso em suas vidas elas jamais poderão parar de inovar e buscar novos conhecimentos.

           Cada ser humano possui seus sonhos, objetivos e não adianta querer um ‘’queijo’’ só para a vida inteira, as pessoas devem fazer como Haws e saírem em busca de novas aventuras, novos desafios, mesmo com dificuldade vale a pena aprender e se especializar em áreas pouco exploradas, pois a recompensa trará sucesso e mais fome por novos e saborosos ‘’queijos’’.

The longer Travis is taken in by the gang, the more you start to crack open his real personality.

Like in game if there was a route you start to see more of his personal taste in clothing. His more adventurous food and music preferences. Philip even opens up to telling you about him. But the steadiest progression is the hair growth. Travis loved having long hair when he was little. Long with cute curls that the church ladies loved to style and pat, the only form of affection he received as a child!

It goes like this for ever major event (if after a certain period of time) has a new Travis. Up until college when there’s just a blonde bombshell with dyed hair, fishnets and crop tops looming over Sal with a playful grin.

We all know thotty Larry is enjoying the versatility of Travis. Pretty and posh, grunge and dusty, gothic and deadly, punk rock groupie! He experiments with every style and enjoys experiencing them all!

I just love the idea of Travis with a curly Bob getting mistaken as a stranger because he’s wearing an entirely different outfit and Sal panics when he realizes who it is.

Larry is constantly seen with this evolving Travis. When asked he just grins and pats Sal on the back. “You’ll understand when you’re older” he’d say. Travis, no longer an antagonist, actively helps Sal with investigating the cult. Using his role as Kenneth’s son to sneak in and get information.

He stops showing up one day and Larry and Sal get locks of his hair in a package at their apartment. Lisa brings the envelope in after finding it neatly placed on the steps of the apartment.

He is found, with Neil, locked in the basement and beaten. Neil survives being held captive by the cult in this route, Kenneth taking his frustrations out on Travis in front of him, leaving him with some scars. Travis, used to this, has disassociated. It’s obvious he hasn’t returned mentally by the time Sal and the gang get him and Neil out. He’s nonverbal and can hardly move. Clinging to Larry who carried him out.

~Sal~

- at first he was a little intimidated 

- being a small guy with a prosthetic face, he was used to bigger people like Y/N beating him up

- he was fearing for his life when he was partnered up with them for a history project

- but… they… had…. a ….. SOFT VOICE?

- he could barely hear them because of how soft it was 

- “sorry, can you repeat that?” 

- after a while Sal learns that Y/N is really sweet, and when the two started dating he could always count on Y/N scaring away any bullies coming his way

~Larry~

- he was surprised to finally meet someone taller than him…

- he associates big buff = metal rocker

- so obviously he made a lot of attempts to talk to them, he expected some buff tough person

- but Y/N was anything but

- Larry found it, odd… but cute at the same time

- “your voice is so high!”

- “shut up Larry!” 

- he did get feelings towards Y/N and when they started dating he didn’t hesitate to defend his s/o against jerks

- “You think they’re a freak? Well… I could say the same thing about someone else I know… His name is spelled T R A V I S, maybe you two should talk sometime!”

~Todd~

- being shy himself in a group full of (mostly) loud people, he was glad to meet someone like Y/N

- he didn’t mind their size, and the two loved to geek out together over sciencey and techy things

- once the two start dating, Todd may get a little self conscious about himself

- he is a pretty small guy compared to his tough looking s/o

- but his s/o doesn’t hold back on the endless compliments and they always find a way to make Todd feel better

- also Todd REALLY likes Y/N’s hugs

~Ash~

- she isn’t bothered by Y/N 

- she thinks it’s adorable that this big buff person likes to sit down and draw with her during lunch

- Y/N is also a regular model for Ash, helping Ash to practice drawing anatomy

- “hold up your right arm above your head, basically just position yourself in the “draw me like a french girl” pose…” 

- when they started dating, they started to be really comfortable with each other

- “hey babe, can you take off your clothes?”

- “Ash what-”

I added this. I tried to convey panic and speed in Ambers (my oc's name) and sal after realizing that the larry creature can and will touch/interact with others. FYI its not going to hurt them it just doesn't want Amber to get freaked out by feeling the weird flesh latex mixed texture of the meat suit.
