Introducing “Lucky”, appropriately named as it’s a seven string guitar! Reclaimed Western Red Cedar top with Pau Ferro ( Libidibia ferrea ) back and sides. It’s a 650 mm scale with ebony fingerboard and bindings. The neck is 60 mm wide at the nut and 70 mm at the 12th fret and made from Spanish cedar. The tuners were made by Thomas Rubner GmbH and of course it has a 21 hole bridge !?! LOL. It’s my first lattice braced guitar and I’m extremely pleased with how this one turned out. And just like that another guitar is ready to close. This one is a little different with a lattice braced top. A design that stemmed from necessity as I dimensioned the top sound board a little thin for my usual elongated fan bracing pattern. I decided to try this configuration to compliment/reinforce the thinner top. We’ll see how it turns out in a few weeks time….This is Pau Ferro back and sides with reclaimed sinker Western red cedar for the top. As this is number 7, I decided to make it a seven string guitar !?!
