Remember how I posted about wanting to write down songs that corresponded to my OTP’s, but because I’m neck deep in the rathunt all I can hear is fucking launt.

Well, by popular demand (aka @green-like-the-sky🤣) I present to you the launt playlist. And by that I mean ‘songs from my spotify that sound like launt’ + my ramblings.

• Shut Up and Dance - WALK THE MOON (James telling Niki to dance with him) 

• Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus (That's James going “Niki stop telling me we can't do this, my heart can't handle that rejection. Love.”🤗)

• Ride With Me - Nelly (I don’t know, that one kinda has James energy for me)

• Fight Song - Rachel Platten (Both of them fighting to make their dreams come true.)

• Let Me Entertain You - Robbie Williams (That's what plays in Niki's head every fucking time James shows up somewhere. He thinks it's just him but turns out it's the universe doing it and everybody’s hearing it)

• Heart  Attack - Demi Lovato (They're singing the song about each other. Niki verse one, James verse two)

• More - Usher (Or just racing in general. I don't know, I feel like I should be racing)

• Rock DJ - Robbie Williams (Just imagine James dragging Niki off to a pub or club and after he gets him wasted they start dancing. And the part in the song where Robbie would start ripping off his skin is where they make it to one of their hotel rooms and it gets hot and frisky)

• Don't Stop Me Now - Queen (Imagine James being on an absolute bender, running buck wild and Niki is trying to catch and contain him. That's it. That's what I’ve been imagening while listening to the song)

• Jolene - Dolly Parton (Either of their wifes singing it about one of the men. Imagine, Suzy going: Your beauty is beyond compare, With flaming locks of soft brown hair, With ivory skin and eyes of ocean blue. Or Marlene going: Your smile is like a breath of spring, Your voice is soft like summer rain, And I cannot compete with you (James). Resting my case)

• Shape Of You - Ed Sheeran (Is there really an explanation needed??)

• Satellite - Lena Meyer-Landrut (Love, I got it bad for you, I saved the best I have for you, You sometimes make me sad and blue, Wouldn't have it any other way.)

• Mirrors - Justin Timberlake (Like, in some ways they’re mirrors to each other)

• Trouble Maker - Olly Murs, feat Flo Rider (Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad? That’s all I’m saying about that)

• Give Your Heart A Break - Demi Lovato (The day I first met you, You told me you never fall in love. Isn't that totally something Niki would be telling James)

• See You Again - Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth (*caughing in angst fic*)
