AKA Veronica olsenii, Parahebe hookeriana, and Parahebe olsenii.

Named after Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker (1817-1911) - a world famous botanist who travelled on the Ross Antarctic expedition of 1839 wrote “Handbook of New Zealand Flora” published in 1864-67 describing many specimens sent to Kew.

Endemic to the North Island, in open alpine areas including scree, fellfields where frost-thaw cycles uproot most plants, lavafields, banks, and rock outcrops.

Anyway, next up is the 7th Station Pass, AKA Witty Lavafields! At some point along the way, we picked up a Gracidea Flower. Given that Shaymin was replaced with Onix (both functionally and in the item description), I decided to give it a try and see what would happen...

Boo! Boring. But also really interesting since I recently found proof it won't work on Shaymin, either. So then... when does it work?

AND I WILL THANK THE LORD ARCEUS FOREVER FOR THE BLESSINGS PROVIDED BY THESE ITEMS, AMEN!

Okay, I DO remember why I saved this one. I entered the tile above the stairs when the MH triggered, so in theory I only had to move down by one. But I couldn't survive long enough to actually get to the Proceed option.

😂 This about sums it up, yeah.

The one and only Secret Room I found during the entire climb despite them being "more common" here. Though tbf, their chances probably got randomized like everything else.

Mainly on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula bur firstlyour ship Leaving Reykjavik Harbour, a balcony identical with ours, and ours in use. 

Three shots inside the Shark Museum - the first features a few of the many stuffed local birds found in Iceland and its surrounds.  Grundarfjorour below Kirkjufell Mountain, featured in many films and allegedly the most photographed mountain in the world.  Kirkjufellsfoss with Kirkjufell behind (at right-angles to previous photo) - and looking seawards from top of the Foss.  Finally a massive lavafield and the best pic I have of how lava flows down a hill.

Went on an adventure today to the rim rock trail in Coldstream, BC, about 20 mins from Vernon. A bit of a jaunt up the first bit but it levels out and becomes a lovely trail with beautiful views and a very neat lava field! You can scramble down into the lava field and walk through there. With the dog and the rain, we decided it was best not to today. We love what the Okanagan has to offer for outdoor living!
