After a loooong time far from Tumblr, I was finally able to come back here and tell you guys i did it, after 8 years i finally made my Korra!!!

I’m really happy about it, it’s probably one of the best things of my year and as soon as I make a decent photoshoot, I’ll post it :)

Finally cosplayed Kuvira! The best part was the armor lasted the whole convention 😂😂

Korra means a lot to me, I know a lot of people who don't like her but I found her relatable in times of turmoil as a teenage.

I saw a reflection of me and that I was capable of change, and the idea or labels people have put onto me do not define me...rather my perception of myself does.

Anyways cheers-after years of sitting on it, I finally cosplayed Korra lol second photo is totally not looking at Asami (I was looking at Asami)

I had considered covering up my wave tattoo for this costume but its such a big part of me, it would've been weird for the sake of cosplaying. My tattoo's true meaning remain close to my heart but the general means to 'be like water' to move with the change, that as tumultuous time occurs-to not fear it.
