Seeing the big picture and being patient. . . It’s east to get swept up in the day to day #grind of running a #business. We watch our numbers, make our ads, and look at everything at an extremely micro level. . . While it’s good to be aware of what’s going on it’s important not to make irrational decisions because of a bad day, or a failed promotion, or a poorly performing ad etc... . . Pay attention to the big, overall trend and direction. . . This is a lesson I have really learned over the last year. . . A year ago when I had a slow day or two I would panic and do something rash like have a sale. This would give me a temporary boost in volume but was harmful to my brand and business overall. . . It would create a back log of undervalued work for when business picked back up, and it made certain #customers wait for the next sale instead of buying when they would have. So I stopped doing it. And business still continued to climb. . . The other day @legiitcom had a very slow day... but I just walked away and did something else. Every day since has been a record day. . . So the lesson is pay attention to the day to day but keep the emotion out of it.
