#my art#feralnette au#birds of a feather#long tags#sorry I went apeshit in the tags#LETS SAY IT ALL TOGETHER NOW#I - M - A - G - OOOOOOOOO#its fun drawing marinette's back to Alya and having her appear stout and unstoppable and totally logical#and then you see her face and she's like two seconds from completely snapping and is keeping it together by a thread#as a note just because mari feels very certainly abt smth doesnt mean she's right. feelings can be valid and also irrational#in the throes of grief she decided it was better to be alone than to lose someone again so she started pulling away#and lila made pulling away very very very easy to do#shes also vaguely aware she's being unfair in pinning this on alya which is why she started spinning the drain on cockmoth again#legitimately all the shit that's happened to her wouldn't have been so catastrophic if he was never in the picture and she knows it#but the bitterness of her bestie choosing a fantastic liar over her at the worst of times stiiiiiings#alya's personal timing was bad but lila really took advantage of the fact that marinette had been acting off and weird#she basically clocked marinette as being unstable from SOMETHING and made up a lie about her#knowing she wouldn't have the strength to defend herself#between her social life going tachy bc of lila and losing fu in a way that felt like personhood death marinette was really put on the spot#and alya doing her thing of busting in there and assuming her bias is correct was a terrible combo#essentially marinette is highly unstable and alya is just realizing that#busting in and giving her a lecture when she's slightly hysterical and definitely delirious from exhaustion is NOT the way#to show her she's self sabotaging#cuz thats just gonna make her double down on self sabotaging. bc marinette will not accept that she is also a CHIIIIILD

Some things I've been thinking about
Namely choices about the story. I don't really have time to make an actual video detailing it all, so I'll just post it here. All that matters is that it's documented. Let's begin:
Chica will not be infected with the Bunny's Code.
I've been thinking about the difference between Bonnie and Mimic's motives. I think that Bonnie's should be altered slightly to better fit what he really wants, which is to revert back to the old ways as much as possible. In other words, only Roxanne and Monty would be infected, thus increasing their chances of being decommissioned. Chica not being infected will put her at far less risk. So what makes her compliant with what's happening? So far, I'm thinking that she will be pretending to be infected, at least to trick the Mimic. Bonnie will converse with her in secret about the plan. The other part of the idea here would be that she is compliant out of fear, which not only highlights some parts of the overall theme, but for Chica personally, her anxiety.
2. Bonnie's motive has been changed slightly.
In the previous draft, I had it written that Bonnie was going to comply with the Mimic to get revenge on everyone, but I am thinking about changing it so that he wants to get revenge on Monty, Roxanne and Vanessa for leading to his replacement and near decommissioning (Monty for replacing him, Roxy for preferring Monty's company and talent, and Vanessa for reporting Bonnie's attack.) He also wanted Foxy, who was in a similar situation as him, to be proven wrong. He currently believes that the Mimic's plan is to use Gregory and Cassie to lure Vanessa into a fatal trap, but he isn't aware that the Mimic is willing to kill all three of them to bring the entire place down. In short, he's being tricked to an extent. Somehow, he thinks even the faux plan will work, but the Mimic is kind of legitimately insane, so... It wouldn't surprise me if Bonnie was also infected by the Bunny's Code at some point now that I've written it down and thought about it. Not sure if it's happening right now or if it happens when Bonnie realizes he's being tricked into doing something far more catastrophic than he initially agreed to (probably the latter.)
3. Cassie will sort of also be protagonist like Gregory, having her own resolution to her own story that is just as important and climactic as his.
Think of it as having two stories playing out at the same time that are also one in the same. They are happening side by side, but also overlap. Cassie's story, with her motives and her connections to the Pizzaplex, are just as important as Gregory's adventures into the unknown. Additionally, there are technically two major villains here, both of whom have different connections to different aspects of story and character. For example, Bonnie is close to Freddy, who is Gregory's companion animatronic, and Bonnie's conflict can be related to Gregory's in both comparison and contrast. Also, since Cassie is the one with the Faz Wrench, having her cure Roxy and then fight the Mimic alongside Eclipse and Roxy would be so cool and would be so cool and so cool and it's just like the game but Eclipse is present and it's so cool.
4. The physical appearance of Eclipse will actually occur.
What I mean by that is previously I established that the name "Eclipse" would be used by the Daycare Attendant (eventually) but the physical appearance of Eclipse (as in a combination of Sun and Moon) will never occur... BUT I have since changed my mind and decided that it will happen. Now you may or may not have recalled that Eclipse is canonically beaten to absolute shit in Ruin (as in they are in not good shape,) and I hate to break it to you... but the way I am thinking of having Eclipse appear is while DC is fighting the Mimic and taking some heavy blows that sort of damage them. Not nearly as severely as Ruin, but enough to make their cosmetics malfunction just enough... and to emotionally wreck them as they're being shouted at by the Mimic about how it's lived their worst nightmare.
So yeah!

Conversation
Sansa: Tries to warn Jon about making the same mistakes as Ned and Robb
Sansa: Tries to keep Jon from leaving
Sansa: Pines for Jon once he leaves
Sansa: Greets her returning siblings with unconditional love and understanding, tries to understand their lives while also making no demands of them.
Sansa: Uses her powers as regent to make sure her people are properly fed and armed
Sansa: Consistently tells Baelish to go away
Sansa: Passes up and rebuffs every opportunity to usurp/betray Jon.
Sansa: Acts frustrated and angry over the offers made to her to usurp Jon, part of her frustration being that she warned Jon this would happen if she left.
Bran: Waxes on about how hot Sansa looked the night she was raped
Sansa: Warns her siblings about Littlefinger when she finds out that LF gave Bran a dagger
Arya: Tells Sansa she ought to have beheaded men for criticizing Jon
Sansa: Explains why that is a bad idea
Arya: Implies Sansa's a traitor and that she wants to betray Jon and is a materialistic monster even after witnessing her sister both rebuff the offer and act genuinely upset by the offer to usurp Jon.
Arya: Decides to try and spy on Littlefinger, finds note Littlefinger wants her to find and immediately jumps to holding the letter against her sister without even considering the idea that if Sansa wanted to repress such a thing for being incriminting, then LF wouldn't have let it be found and would have simply destroyed it.
Arya: Blames Sansa for their father's death, threatens to "expose" Sansa for "doing Lannister bidding" while Sansa was a hostage (conveniently ignoring how a) she witnessed Sansa try to run to help Ned at his execution and b) how she was bonding with and serving Tywin Lannister his drinks and ignoring the not one, not two, but three opportunities she had to kill him), thus potentially destroying Sansa's regency (and, by extension, all the measures Sansa's taken to protect and serve the North) and even potentially getting Sansa killed (what with this "exposure" of Sansa's letter putting Sansa on the defensive, which could/would quite easily lead to her being called a traitor, and even be arrested/executed for her "treason"), trying to use Lyanna "Never been a hostage or been in any legitimate danger ever" Mormont as an argument as to why Sansa is a "traitor". Basically threatening to vilify Sansa in front of the very people she (and, by extension, Jon) needs to keep the North from perishing and calling her a traitor (a charge which, once again, could easily lead to Sansa being unjustly executed for her "treason").
Sansa: Defends herself, tries to explain her situation, tries to tell Arya that this is exactly what their enemies want, and when that doesn't work, points out that she's the reason that they have Winterfell again,
Sansa: Is afraid of Arya making good on her threats and the catastrophes that can cause. Hears Littlefinger suggest that she employ Brienne's aid to "intercede when one Stark sister endangers another" and soon after receives a "summons" to King's Landing to attend a parlay over a matter she knows nothing about because Jon hasn't written to her in weeks.
Sansa: Sends Brienne, the only person left in Winterfell that she can trust, to KL.
Sansa: Takes no action against Arya except to try and find her "evidence" in her rooms so that Arya can't potentially destroy everything Sansa has worked for since retaking Winterfell and endanger Sansa's life. Does this on her own, even though she could easily have Arya seized, have her own men search Arya's room, etc. Instead does this in a way least likely to endanger her sister.
Sansa: In fear, mentions that she does, indeed have men that would protect her from her sister, who she knows is capable of killing people (and who also has apparently been collecting human faces).
Arya: Mentions that these men who would protect her aren't currently present. Once again accuses Sansa of trying to betray Jon. Moves towards Sansa brandishing a dagger talking about killing, taking peoples' faces, and how easily she could take Sansa's face and her life. Gives Sansa the dagger at the last minute.
Sansa: Acts afraid and confused.
Fandom: GO ARYA! Sansa IS totally evil and deserves the shitty treatment from her siblings because of what she's TOTALLY going to do, which we know she'll do because of two ambiguous expressions (despite actual actions on her part which contradict our interpretations of said ambiguous looks) and that her siblings treat her like shit (because of what she'll do, she deserves it, which is not a circular argument at all)! ARYA IS SO RIGHT AND IS THE VICTIM HERE! IT IS SANSA WHO IS BEING TRICKED BY LITTLEFINGER AND IS TRYING TO DESTROY HER SISTER! LOOK AT THE THINGS SHE SAYS IN HER OWN DEFENSE! POOR ARYA, BEING SO UNDER THREAT FROM HER SISTER'S SELF DEFENSE! SANSA IS SO EVIL AND WEAK AND ARYA IS RIGHT ABOUT WHAT A FAILURE SANSA IS AND HOW SHE BETRAYED EVERYONE BECAUSE SHE TOTALLY DIDN'T ACT HOW ARYA AND LYANNA WOULD HAVE IN HER SITUATION (WHICH TOTALLY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AND AMAZING AND BADASS AND SAVED EVERYONE). OMG, HER POINT ABOUT LYANNA MORMONT, WHO HAS LITERALLY NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE SOUTH OF WINTERFELL, HAS SPENT HER ENTIRE LIFE SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND SUBJECTS, AND HAD POWER HANDED TO HER BY ACCIDENT OF BIRTH AND HAS LITERALLY NEVER HAD TO FACE A SITUATION WHERE COMPLIANCE COULD BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HER OWN LIFE AND THAT OF HER FAMILY, WAS SO GOOD! BECAUSE ARYA AND LYANNA ARE BETTER AND WOULD HAVE THRIVED BETTER BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT WEAK LIKE SANSA!!! SANSA IS TOTALLY TRYING TO DESTROY ARYA AND JON, EVEN THOUGH SHE'S DONE NO SUCH THING THUS FAR DESPITE THE MULTITUDE OF OPPORTUNITIES SHE'S HAD. THIS IS ALL HER FAULT AND SHE DESERVES TO BE VICTIM-BLAMED AND ACCUSED OF THINGS THAT ARE ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AND IN DIRECT CONTRAST TO EVERYTHING SHE'S ACTUALLY DONE! SHE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE SHIT AND HAS NO BUSINESS SPEAKING/ACTING IN HER OWN DEFENSE BECAUSE THAT'S JUST EVIL! SANSA ALWAYS DESERVES CRUELTY, ESPECIALLY FROM ARYA! ARYA'S BEHAVIOR TOWARDS HER SISTER IS MORE PROOF OF SANSA'S FAILINGS BECAUSE SANSA IS EVIL AND ARYA IS ALWAYS GREAT AND IS STRONG UNLIKE HER EVIL, WEAK, SISTER!!!! I'M SO GLAD ARYA IS PUTTING SANSA IN HER PLACE! SANSA DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE AND ARYA IS RIGHT TO DO SO!!!! HOORAY!!! THIS IS ALL ABOUT WHAT SANSA IS DOING WRONG!
