I don't normally ship characters that don't have chemistry but I think these ones have a lot of potential and are really cute.

miscellaneous socmed stuff (i wrote "misc" and my phone deadass suggested "miscarriage")

branch's social media: has a public twitter account and a personal facebook. uses his facebook to talk to his brothers, added guy diamond a while ago but forgot about it. mostly uses twitter though, as that's also his business page: posts about special deals, and short videos working on cars/motorcycles/the shop's mascot (a tiny robot he made in highschool named Gary). but he also shares articles he thinks are interesting, shows pictures of his puzzles, dates for floyd's concerts, posts from bruce's restaurant and occasionally answers if he's tagged in stuff.

after the thread, his page becomes ridiculously popular. he can't make it a private account bc, again, that's his business page. the thing is though, that some people have started reaching out to him; one of his neighbors (legsley) tells him she knows people from his highschool and they're asking for his number, is it okay if ahe gives it to them??? branch wants to say no, but bruce tells him there's no harm in just listening to what they have to say (and to send them screenshots, his brothers are more than ready to throw hands). so, branch gets added to his second ever group chat: The Snackpack™

>the snack pack: popular via association with croppy + guy, not highschool royalty but kids still respected them. were fully aware of creek's bullying but never actually did anything about it bc they thought branch was a bit weird; since they didn't talk to branch, the other kids did the same, isolating him without meaning to. smidge and cooper found the thread and sent it to the group chat, everyone freaks out and they kick creek out of said gc. legsly (biggie's cousin and honorary member) mentions that's her neighbor and he's actually SO nice, he fixed her plumbing for FREE!!! the snackpack is still freaking out bc they never did anything to help branch when he was getting bullied, didn't reach out after graduation either!!! are they next on the callout list????

>brozone: are absolutely baffled that branch never told them about the bullying, doesn't he trust his older brothers??? they could've helped him!!!! but they fought a lot back then, most of them didn't even live with branch!!! much less contacted him regularly to see how he was doing, not even after grandma rosiepuff passed away (FROM OLD AGE). they got in contact again after branch had to bail floyd out of jail and take him to the hospital. nowadays they all go to family therapy (and some to individual therapy), which is why they're so surprised (and a little hurt) that branch's issues never came up during their sessions.

OH i thought i sent the thing about poppy, my bad!!

poppy (post thread): she feels SO betrayed, absolutely heartbroken. she can't believe creek would do such a thing, say such horrible things to someone else. poppy spends a whole day reading and re-reading branch's thread, she just.... can't believe it, creek's texts are VILE (there's a lot of the R-word, remember they were like 17 or so back then), there's even mentions of HER in those texts (branch did his best to censor her name but it's still pretty obvious). her phone is buzzing with texts from creek and she finds it difficult to answer, but she needs an explanation. eventually she does.

he's pleading with her to not believe anything that psycho has to say, branch has always been a bit of a spaz so who knows if he's being truthful. poppy gets pissed, so she starts tearing into him: she regrets ever giving him a chance, he clearly peaked in highschool and is just as immature as back then, she never wants to see him again UNLESS he properly apologizes to branch and makes ammends. then creek gets pissed, tells her she knew exactly what he was doing and never did anything about it, she's no better than him.

poppy blocks him, goes to twitter and blocks him there too (and follows branch's account). then she calls viva to vent about the whole thing. viva is understanding, it's a very uncomfortable situation for everyone (branch IS her brother-in-law after all)....but tells her that creek had a point (sadly). poppy WAS a bit self-centered around highschool, she was a wee bit condescending and turned a blind eye to anything that didn't fit her "happy cheerleader who has it all" persona. poppy gets angry and hangs up, but when she thinks about it.....damn. viva's right. she was a bit of an asshole kid.

a few days later, poppy reaches out to legsley and asks for branch's number, she's a grown woman and unlike SOME PEOPLE she's not afraid of recognizing her mistakes and making up to them. she messages branch privately, writing a very long text apologizing for not helping him back then and for not reaching out now. branch tells her that it's not fine exactly, but they didn't really talk AND creek was her bf, she would've been on his side regardless. she says she'd like to get to know him better!! she saw his page and was very interested in the paint job he did for a car. they talk some more and after a while she adds him to The Snackpack™ group chat, with an open invitation to attend the next highschool reunion!

CRYING you guys are so great. i'm surprised no one's asked about this little guy:

Creek™: he's fucked. ever since branch posted the thread his life has been miserable. his friends cut him off, the charities he works for kindly asked him to step down and the worst thing is...poppy won't talk to him!!!! they fought over text, he said truths she didn't want to hear AND THEN SHE BLOCKED HIM!!!!!!!

so, he writes a very long thread explaining what ACTUALLY happened back then and tags branch (and poppy). branch QRTs with "you haven't apologized though" (very bluntly) and creek comments "there's nothing to apologize for. that happened in highschool, get over it".

BIG MISTAKE. he just made it worse. people are actually making tiktoks with screenshots of his own thread and calling him ableist. creek points out he's not ableist, he's got plenty of disabled friends!!! and tags guy diamond, smidge, cooper and legsley. the backlash is so massive he's forced to deactivate his twitter account, and disappear off the internet forever.

...or, well, not forever forever. if he makes a new account with a different name, well....no one has to know
