But to summarize: What if post movie Leosagi met, through their bad future self's memories? Bang in comes the rings! Through the logic of Mystic power infused rings returning to their owners as long as they are alive, Leo and Usagi come across old rings that, when each put them on, began to give them 'memories' of an alternate version of themselves and their partner (bad future Leosagi)!? And slowly meet eachother and form a relationship, filled with many doubts as they begin to see not so fond memories of this older couple.

Here have this Leo x reader fic I'll probably never finish writing

The loud alarm from your phone pierced the blissful silence you had fallen asleep to. As the music continued to dance around your dorm you wrapped the covers tighter around you, sinking deeper into your cool mattress. Sleeping for a few more hours would not do you any better however much you wanted to stay asleep. With a heavy sigh you pushed yourself from the comfort of the newly purchased mattress covers. 

Once you had turned off the shrill alarm you scrolled through the notifications you had received throughout the night. There weren’t many, just a few from a couple distant friends you had purposely ignored from the previous evening. To be entirely honest you had expected a few responses from a certain blue-masked mutant turtle or from any of the ‘Mad Dogs’. 

With your wacky college schedule and their random vigilante missions texting and visiting windows were rare. Leo and Donnie were the easiest to get ahold of. The latter being incredibly attached to his technology and the former having the most messed up sleeping schedule of anyone you had ever known. Which resulted in the both of you texting each other in the most ungodly hours of the night. 

A quick glance at the time rushed you into a time-old routine. Your first lecture of the day started in an hour and although the lecture hall wasn’t too far away you wanted at least get in a nice meal before hand. The so called nice meal usually consists of french toast and a hot steaming cup of coffee. Not that you even needed coffee to help fuel your day, you just liked the taste. As you sat down at your cramped table to enjoy your small breakfast your phone buzzed in the pocket of your hoodie. You set down your grey mug, reaching into your pocket with your left hand. 

Leon : are you coming over tonight 

Leon : I know someone who might be missing you ( hint - blue ;) )

The simple message instantly lifted your spirits as you let out a small chuckle. It had a only been a few days since you had gone down to the lair but you still missed it. You longed for the summer months when you could spend every night and day with the chaotic foursome and April, of course. You wondered if she would be visiting tonight as well. 

UnarmedCivilian : I’ll have to check my schedule 

UnarmedCivlian : Ah, yes right here, April 16th : ‘hang out with the most insufferable dork and his 3 far more charismatic brothers

Leon : please, we all know I’m the most handsome and most charming one 

UnarmedCivlian : Hmm, are you sure? 

Leon : you tell me 

Leon : do you think I’m handsome, charming, loveable, or maybe a mix of all 

His response caught you off guard, your face heating up as you imagined how he would’ve leaned into you if you were conversing face to face. 

UnarmedCivlian : Its hard to decide when you’re not really any of those things 

Leo : Lying isn’t a good look on you cariño 

UnarmedCivilian : Everything looks good on me 

UnarmedCivilian : See you later 

You pocketed your phone as you stood from your chair. There were still about fifteen minutes until your lecture, giving you enough time to grab your bag and walk calmly to class.
