First off I should start by saying this is kewl! AR Challenge participants can earn a chance to go to GoFest with their pogo photo skills! That’s the kewl part. All that info can be found at Pokemongolive.com. The part I was really hoping @pokemongoapp and @nianticlabs would do, and I’ll be critical, I thought they should kind of appoint some of the top AR shooters on IG as an officially sponsored team. They started all of this. & it’s easier now with GoSnapShot. Instagram & the pogo ar community made all of this, so why not establish such a staff - they’ve worked so hard to create the culture I think it’s fair. Let’s be honest, you’re not actually on Twitter looking for AR pogo photos. You’re on IG, where it’s all happening right now and designed for photos. It’s also the birthplace of many AR challenges. At the same time, it’s Niantic’s game... but it belongs to us, their set of rules their set of prizes and so forth but the game is ours if you catch my drift. I’m just saying it would be great for the actual community leaders to get some recognition, namely with this one, the AR plus community. Who knows, maybe the winners gain notoriety & Niantic establishes the first ever AR panel with these winners. What are your thoughts? Would it be kewl to get some community representatives to go along with @coupleofgaming? Or is this fair as is? 🦖✨ Super generalist prep list for Bagon Day! ✨ 🦖 I’m looking to evolve 6 Shiny, so my approx candy goal is around 750~ which means I’ll need to catch approx 107 Bagon with pinap. Any overage will go towards powering up the ferociously green Pocket Monster. I would avoid having the “Shiny Check” mindset for this event, the candy is far too valuable for something as rare as Bagon as it does not nest. ⚠️ Nothing Official - Purely Speculation ⚠️ I was glancing over the local chats today, thinking of course there’d be everyone posting screen shots of GoFest when I noticed something different about this ONE post. By then the hype of GoFest had died down and the last post of screen shots regarding GoFest had been bumped by raid locations etc. Something about this persons screenshots made me triple glance and I realized they had a different background theme attached to the verbiage of in game GoFest details. (Swipe to see) “I think” as in I’d love to believe that this was an accidental leak by @pokemongoapp @nianticlabs and will definitely happen during GoFest in June. We’re currently in April, with Giratina Origin Forme in full effect which leaves May available for some of the Shiny Latios (already have said by Niantic to be coming soon) release, potentially combined with Regigagas which would be a great set-up for the Legendary Beasts in shiny form! And with THREE Go Fests this fits the release mantra perfectly. As is always the case, we jus tnever known what is coming next! This theory is based off of screen shots with alternative background that have since then been changed to what we’re seeing in the most updated GoFest info graphic/details in-game.
