༉‧₊˚. letterology name notes
please remember that there’s other numerical energy in your birthday that matters much more than your letterology does. letterology is about 15% of your energy ♡
please take this with a grain of salt as i don’t know your birthday numerology. this is about isolated energy ♡
letterology calculator ♡

- people named karen are often hated a lot since the first letter is k (11 energy which gets a lot of hate) and the first vowel is a (1 energy representing conflict)
- a names as well as k names often get lots of hate in general too. this applies to first and last names
examples: kanye west, the kardashians, angelina jolie, amber heard, etc
- people with b, d, m, or x initials in their first or last name are more likely to be wealthy since in letterology these translate in numerology to wealth numbers
examples: jeff bezos, warren buffet, drake, nicki minaj, elon musk -> all billionaires
- people named timothee are prone to being good looking since the name number is 5 the number of beauty and vowel number is 25 (anything 2 is next to doubles the energy of the other number). there is energy behind what we call people
- people named noah are more likely to be gay since their vowel number is 7 (the numerical energy that’s most prone to being attracted to the same gender)
- the initials of your name matter as well
examples: justin bieber’s initials are jb which in letterology reduces to 3. 3 is the number of the singer, bella hadid’s initials are bh and b is 2 while h is 8 so her initials together are 28 the number of wealth

Numerical Letterology - Basics
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What letterology is
Letterology is a type of numerology you can use to understand the energy behind words or names. Each letter is assigned a number in letterology. It goes in order of the alphabet. Capital letters begin after the last number of the alphabet
Letters to numbers
Lowercase letters: a = 1 , b = 2 , c = 3 , d = 4 , e = 5 , f = 6 , g = 7 , h = 8 , i = 9 , j = 10 , k = 11 , l = 12 , m = 13 , n = 14 etc
Uppercase letters: A = 27 , B = 28 , C = 29 , D = 30 , E = 31 , F = 32 , G = 33 , H = 34 , I = 35 , J = 36 , K = 37 , L = 38 etc
How can you use this
• To change your names energy to fulfill a desire of yours
• To create a company name
• To create a company logo
• To name your child
• To create a username
Some examples
• Marilyn Monroe: Her name actually isn’t Marilyn Monroe. The letterology of Marilyn Monroe was better than her real name Norma Jeane Mortenson. Norma = 7 while Marilyn = 11. 11 is a better number for fame than 7. Marilyn Monroe has 13 letters and the first and last name both start with M which is the 13th letter. 13 is a very influential number. Marilyn Monroe = 1 which is the number of leadership as well. This could explain why she was one of the most famous people to ever live
• Google: = 7 and this is the number of technology. Its logo is also the letter G which equals 33 and 33 is the most influential number. The colors in the G add to 28 which is the number of wealth also
• Charli Damelio: She’s one of the most followed people on tiktok. Charli = 11 (fame number), Charli Damelio = 33 (most influential number), cd (her initials) = 7 the number of technology, and her name has 13 letters (another influential number). Her parents most likely know numerology

Lecture #1
Introduction to communication design studies
What is it?
Communication: the act of conveying intended meanings from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs and semiotic rules
Design: Aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of an object or system
Studies: from the Latin ‘stadium’ meaning ‘zeal or dedication’
In simplified terms, it means - To share, to shape, to dedicate
Hand signal
I remember in primary school, one of my teacher taught the whole class the sign language of ‘t’ and use it whenever we needed to go to the toilet. I think she just didn’t want us to interrupt her during classes. That was the one memory that stayed with me till this day because it was such a interesting way of communication.

Lecture #2
“What is design made of?”
The earliest form of communication were from media sourced in nature where our ancestors used Mesopotamian clay tablets. To which the earliest form of writing was called cuneiform. It had distinctive shapes due to the use of cut reeds pushed into wet clay to form.
Cuneiform

Egyptian script (800-1200) – Ostracon, unicycles piece of broken pottery
Hieroglyphic – another early writing from Egypt. Mix of pictographs and ideograms.

Lecture #3
Writing systems from around the world
China: Fushi also known as the great heavenly one, he invented writing 3000 years ago, using bamboo brush and trigrams – also represented on the current Korean flag
Chinese letterforms are closely related to natural elements e.g. bamboo stalks – blend of representing object that exist in nature and the idea it represents.

- Chinese is my native language hence I’ve also had some experience with calligraphy when I was younger. When I went to school in China, there was a class where the class would trace strokes using ink and calligraphy brush ‘maobi’ to write out characters. I found it relatively hard because each stroke requires different amount of control for thick and thin lines. -
Japan: mixture of 3 basic scripts, borrowing from Chinese idiographic symbols (kanji) with 2 alphabets (hiragana and katakana)
- I’ve learnt Japanese for a year because I had an anime obsession when I was younger. It was so interesting to me to learn that there were 3 ‘alphabets’ which are all combined together. I found the easiest part in learning the language was to understand Kanji as it’s derived from Chinese! -
What did I find interesting?
There are more than 6,900 languages in world with around 6% having more than a million speakers each. This data had made me more aware about how diverse the world really is and also with the communities around me and in this course, where English may not be their first language, including myself.
Lecture #4
Beginnings of print
Books become latest technology, labour intensive to produce so only a privileged few could afford – in churches and monasteries
Johannes Gutenberg – invented printing press
Diamond Sutra, first printed book
China – invention of movable clay type 400 years before printing press was invented
Western Europe – first woodblock printing (Madonna of fire)
Printing press: create massive change in reproducing books and more efficient
Letterforms:
- Carolingian script
- Roman type
Black letter aka gothic script very influential – a popular script at Gutenberg’s invention – books in 1450’s all with same style of letter form (black letter). It was also used by Disneyland because of tradition in Germany for fairytales.
