"We argue," confirms Noel. "Not all the time, and not always in front of the press. Although we don't bother when the press are there these days, because it's become a bit of a joke. But we fight, yeah. Hourly. In fact, I haven't seen him today, so I might 'phone him up and pick an argument with him. Plus, it isn't really in-band rivalry, because he doesn't do anything except sing. I write the songs. It's strange, though, I don't get excited about much. I can take all this in my stride, but I get excited about fighting with our kid sometimes."
This morning we received a request from Ireland for information about our copy of The Voyage of Saint Brendan printed by the Dolmen Press in Ireland for the Humanities Press Inc. in the U. S. in a limited edition of 150 copies in 1976. The book contains a translation by the Irish classical scholar John J. O'Meara of the earliest Latin version of Brendan's legendary voyage, Navigatio Sancti Brendani Abbatis from the 9th century CE. The images used here are reproductions of woodcuts from Sankt Brandans Seefahrt, the first printed version of the legend produced in 1476 by Anton Sorg in Augsburg.
Brendan's journeys are among the most enduring of European legends, about the Atlantic wanderings of the 6th-century Irish monastic saint Brendan of Clonfert and his 16 companions in search of the Promised Land of the Saints. I am an admirer of the Dolmen letterpress-printed editions, and this printing bears all the hallmarks of my interest: handset in Pilgrim type with Victor Hammer's initials printed on Van Gelder mouldmade "Unicorn" paper and designed by Dolmen co-founder Liam Miller. Our copy, signed by the translator, is number 127, but the first 50 numbered copies are specially bound with hand-colored woodcuts. As lovely as the our copy is, I admit to coveting a copy from the first 50.
I don’t know if I should say this, but… quite a few times, I don’t know why, I really— and we haven’t made it happen yet— but I really have the urge to write with, or for, or both— with / for Liam Payne. Honestly, I just— because we spent a lot of time working together, and we often… most of the songs I wrote in the band, I wrote with Liam. we built a really good partnership like that. I would be interested to see what that looks like for his stuff. I just always have this thing in the back of my mind. I mean, maybe he wouldn’t have me, I don’t know. But I just always have this thing, I think it would be kind of nice. I would like to hear… if I could imagine what song I’d like to write with him, I’d like to write something kind of emotive and honest, something in that realm. I can hear it in my head, but yeah.

oh man, liam is dropping the hints at caleb's backstory beautifully subtle — as everyone's having fun, having light-hearted conversation after the (unsuccessful) ambush, he jumps back to consciousness like after a terrible dream and screams out. and damn, man it looks so natural! shit like this just happens, it doesn't wait for a solemn time to show itself — especially after a whole fucking ptsd episode because of an incineration of a man in the mines.
and he is so confused after it, his head is not in the right place. i can't, i wanna protect him((
I'm waiting for someone to do a compilation edit of the last 15 years of the Gallagher brothers' interviews where all they do is passive aggressively hint to the media that they're both sorry and the other brother should make the first call but nobody did cause they're idiots

Summary:
“What’re you thinking about?” Liam asks lazily, staring at Theo.
His face must do something then, because Liam is scrambling to cover his tracks at the thought of making him even the slightest bit uncomfortable. He opens and closes his mouth a few times - in a way that’d be endearing if he didn’t look so nervous.
“You don’t have to answer that. It was just too quiet.”
Theo hums, feigning indifference.
He wants to answer it. He wants and wants, wants Liam, wants a home, wants a family.
More than anything, he wants them to understand. The complexities of his childhood he keeps buried so far down, covered by rotten wood and damp soil. His life, his sister, his parents, the house they grew up in, everything before the doctors.
Or: Theo character analysis and his relationship with language
"First of all, it's Liam's song. But I have to tell you, it was so fun working with him. He- you know, it's a different generation and there's a totally different energy. He's totally locked in on what he's doing and he was very focused about what kind of music he wanted to make. So working with him was an absolute joy. I have to say, Liam was a wonderful person to work with."

theo and liam always getting paired together in 6b during episodes where all of the other storylines focus on couples going through stuff together is so funny because when you look at it, the only episode where they really get split up is genotype, which is one of the rare episodes where scott ISN’T paired with malia (because he’s with liam) and mason isn’t with corey (because he’s with theo) aka the canon love interests. like these episodes were cutting from shit like scalia almost dying together to thiam having intimate conversations about how liam processes emotions and morey saying i love you to thiam swearing that neither of them are dying for each other 😭 just very amusing to me. theo raeken: the accidental love interest.

Former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has revealed that he was among the thousands of disappointed Oasis fans who failed to get tickets over the weekend for the band’s highly anticipated comeback tour.
Speaking to Sky Sports’s Martin Brundle on the grid at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday, Tomlinson was asked by the veteran reporter whether he managed to bag any tickets for the sought-after concerts.
The 32-year-old candidly confirmed he like, many, many others failed to get a ticket. “I didn’t, I was in the queue, but I never got a number… I did try, I did try,” said the Doncaster-born star.
Tomlinson was then asked if he could use his celebrity status to bag a free pass from the Gallagher brothers, to which he said: “I have my fingers crossed.”
He has previously expressed his admiration for Oasis calling them “the best band” while promoting his debut solo album Walls in 2020.
Perhaps surprisingly, the Gallagher’s have been kind to Tomlinson in the past with Liam calling him a “a top lad” on X/Twitter with Noel also revealing that his “daughter was a huge fan” when she was a child.
