Gorgeous glowy Mary Corse paintings at the Whitney ✨ The NGA has one that I walk by all the time made of the same material (glass microspheres) that doesn’t glow so I wonder what lighting magic the Whitney is working. Came to MoMA PS1 to see the Carolee Schneeman exhibition, and ended up catching the sunset lighting program of James Turrell's "Meeting." I'm typically super skeptical of the spectacular in contemporary art, and of work whose sole purpose seems to be to mess with your perception, but I'll make an exception for this work! #JamesTurrell #MoMAPS1 #contemporaryart #lightandspaceart (at MoMA PS1)
