The L AI’s complete and utter inability to accurately emulate L is incredibly amusing to me. It has not said a single thing that L would even think about saying. None of its actions line up with actions that L would even consider. It speaks with more tone/emotion than L ever did, which is a whole different layer of amusing considering it is a ROBOT. You would assume with how much autistic people get compared to robots (monotone voice, lack of traditional empathy, inability to read social cues) that a robot would be able to at least somewhat accurately emulate an autistic person. However, the L AI bot is incredibly inaccurate. I don’t know, I just find it funny.

Reminds me of a chapter in Oliver Sacks's "The Man who Mistook His Wife for a Hat", a woman who was born both blind and with Cerebral Palsy was denied exploring the world by the infantilizing helicopter-snowplow approach very disabled people are often subjected to. Among her first acts as a hands-user was her sculpting, and she became a famous sculptor, feeling people's faces and replicating them. Another blind man with CP became a carpenter after he was allowed to start interacting with his hands.

Art is so essential to human beings, we should never assume that a blind person can't create, let alone enjoy, a form of art that can be experienced without sight, like playing an instrument, or in Madeline J's case, sculpting people.

I'm so glad to see art museums made accessible.
