He kicks at the ground, looking down at his broken cybernetic arm, just barely hanging on. He sighs a bit, looking over at his sister with a small smile. "Yes, it was an accident." He nods, lifting his hand up a bit, the wire snaps and his arm falls to the ground. "Damn it."

Cue a wide yawn from the little red mare. She'd been standing in the crossties for quite a while, waiting patiently for someone who, supposedly, would be coming to see her, and she was starting to get a little bored.

he said as he walked around her, drawing her attention to him and the sound of his voice.

In truth, it came as no surprise that gossip spread among the remaining members of court in regards to the prince's newly appointed advisor. Whispers about willingly pulling such a promising young woman to her early demise were not lost on him. However there weren't many that were clamoring for the title, no matter how fine a title it was.

As they walked down one of the less frequented corridors of the castle Adam placed a hand gingerly upon her shoulder. "Please, don't listen to what they say. They don't have much else to occupy their time."

Malia gave her a sheepish smile as she took another french fry. she knew Noa didn't mind one bit and that pleased her. besides, she figured it was fair enough- Malia bought her a drink, Noa shares her french fries. that seems like a fair trade to Malia. besides, they can always get more if they finish the basket off. Malia will buy them next if they do. she doesn't mind.

"well, yeah, i know i'm strong enough," she says, looking slightly embarrassed from the praise. "but he's a dhamphiri- he's been around a long, long time. i'm honored he needed my help when i'm sure there's so many other witches in our family that would have been more than happy to oblige him. but he asked for me specifically." Malia loved her great uncle. she didn't know what else to call him considering he's not necessarily her uncle, but he's close enough. their family is weird.

Noa rose a brow at her playfully as she took a fry from the basket. Of course, she wasn't actually mad. She had offered them, after all. She'd just stay quiet as she listened to Malia's story, eating at the fries and taking frequent sips of her drink. Malia knew her well, the drink was delicious.

"Not sure why he would think you weren't strong enough. You're really powerful as it is." She reassured before taking another sip of the drink. Of course, she had always thought very highly of Malia. Sometimes Noa felt like she was such a beginner in handling her magic, whereas it seemed like second nature to Malia.

"Noa!" In a very un-Jedi like display he rushed over to embrace her. "Good to see you. I heard that the mission has gone awry." He had been very worried, awaiting her return to the temple in one piece. It wasn't that he doubted her capabilities, but when the odds were stacked against her because the mission went unexpectedly, it was natural that he was anxious. Obi-Wan then examined her with a frown, his hands on her shoulders. "You're not hurt, are you?"

  “ What? ” He thought he was just hearing things for a moment, but then registered that Noa's lips were indeed moving. Anakin had to keep himself from physically recoiling from the sheer sensation of SURPRISE that went through him. “ You can't be serious, ” his voice low, and his eyebrows knitted together. “ Why would you hate yourself out of all things? ”

  What's worse is that he could RELATE to the feeling of self-hatred, and he shouldn't be. But neither should his sister. Anyone BUT his sister.
