Mega Man S: Chapter 1
We’re not in Destiny Islands anymore
Summary: In which Sora finds himself in a new world. Word Count: 1,974 Next ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆
The last thing Sora could easily remember was a flash of bright light, being engulfed in its shearing heat, and then nothing. When he opened his eyes, he was so dizzy he swore he was going to get sick. His body also felt incredibly sore. Did he take on a Heartless that was too much for him? Nah, that couldn’t have been it. Thinking on it, he carefully worked himself up to his feet. The grass under him rustled slightly. Beside him was a gnarled tree that he used to help keep balance. His dizziness resided a bit as he tried to gather himself. When Sora was able to look out, his vision nearly doubled once again.
Sora was standing on a cliff in the forest, ahead was the skyline of a brightly lit and densely populated city. In what appeared to be the center of the city was a large circular building. On top of the building something that resembled an open lotus seemed to be sending energy into the sky, blanketing the rest of the wide area. Sora could almost feel its energy prickle at his skin. It was different than electricity, but still held a static all its own.
“I don’t think I’m in the Destiny Islands anymore…” he mumbled to himself.
As if it were just to affirm his thought, a loud bang resounded through the area. Up from the treetops was a billow of black smoke. Sora saw it, and immediately withdrew his Keyblade.
“But I do know that means trouble.” he went on. “I’m sure the locals wouldn’t mind me helping out a bit.”
The boy gave a wide grin to himself before hopping down the cliff. He didn’t know where he was, but he knew that whatever was going on, he could help bring it down to size.
. . .
This morning could have gone a lot better. It started early with a call from Guardian HQ- apparently an odd space anomaly set off a lot of Mechaniloids to go Maverick. That could have been dealt with in about three or four hours time. It was what Prairie picked up after that the issue became more serious. The anomaly had brought in an unidentified creature to Area A. It seemed human. Far more human than what was legally allowed. Girouette wished he was the type to take vacations more often, because this would have been the day for it.
Due to the possible danger, and as much as he didn’t want to do it, Girouette allowed Juno to accompany him to the site. His girlfriend was more than eager to help out. She liked to jump onto the chance to use Model O. But her Biometal match was unstable. While she generally handled it well, Girouette still worried for her. He would always worry about her, honestly. However, Model O was a different kind of worry. It had the soul of an ancient evil. If gone unchecked, or placed in the wrong hands, Model O could cause untold devastation.
At least Juno was a good listener most of the time.
“Don’t Megamerge until I give the okay.” Girouette said to her as they left the transerver. “Fleuve still doesn’t know how much of Model O’s power is benign enough for you to wield.”
“I’ll be fine.” Juno told him. She patted the side of her buster shot gun before adding, “Thon’s lessons are really paying off. And if worse comes to worst, Model X is a pretty good babysitter.”
‘We are Biometals, not babysitters.’ the annoyed voice of Model Z interjected. Its voice only being heard to Giro and Juno.
“Of course.” Juno grinned. Model Z had already merged with Giro- the latter’s body donning red and black armor. He lacked a helmet, but he did sport a rather nice visor instead.
‘There isn’t much I could do to help you in a serious situation anyway.’ Model X carefully spoke up. Since it wasn’t merged with anyone, Juno simply pulled the Biometal out of her pocket for them to talk. ‘You’re not my Biomatch. We don’t know who my Biomatch is yet.’
“But you do have a decent moral compass.” Juno informed it. “One that could break through any errant Biometal.”
‘It’s rather sweet that you think that.’
A loud explosion not far from them brought everyone’s attention back to the matter at hand. Girouette went on ahead as Juno placed Model X in her pocket again. She quickly dashed after Giro, preparing her buster gun in case any Mavericks got past Giro and straight to her. Thankfully, Giro’s accuracy was nothing to laugh at. He had been practically born to wield a saber.
Girouette himself had his focus divided between making sure Juno was safe, and getting to the Maverick zone as quickly as possible. As the duo got closer, the more it became apparent that they were not the only ones fighting back the Mavericks. What caught Giro’s attention was that the battle cries shouted awfully young. The closer they got to the sounds, the more Mavericks they had to take down. I didn’t matter to Girouette too much- making sure whoever was making those voices was safe was the higher priority.
He had been so focused on getting through the Mavericks that he almost didn’t hear Juno realize, “It’s a kid!”
His head then immediately snapped up. Sure enough, it did look like a kid fighting the Mavericks. Not much taller than Vent or Aile, and his weapon of choice was a...
“Is he… using a giant key as a sword?” Juno asked, pausing a moment to look at Girouette. It was almost too absurd not to stand and stare at it.
“I’ve seen worse.” her partner nonchalantly told her.
“You have all the fun.” Juno then pouted.
‘Focus.’ Model Z hissed at them.
“Right.” they agreed with a nod.
As they returned to fighting, Giro now kept an eye on the kid. They were incredibly skilled, it seemed. Perhaps not with any technique he was familiar with though. The fact that this child seemed to be so comfortable fighting made him a tad uneasy. It seemed to be a fact that the Mechaniloids were gathering as well- more specialized Mechaniloids were starting to surround the child.
What neither could see what that a large snake Mechaniloid was sneaking its way onto the battlefield. The child was its target. Girouette happened to look up as the Mechaniloid started to rise from the masses. His heart nearly stopped as he witness the Mechaniloid whack the child with the back of its tail. The poor child never knew what hit him.
“Juno!” Girouette shouted, not wasting time to run further into the fray. “Megamerge! NOW!”
It only took one look to see what Giro had seen, and with that there was no hesitation. With a cry of, “Megamerge!” Juno was enveloped in a blinding light as Model O wrapped itself around her. Her armor was mostly white, with green accents against the edges, and red lines running down the front like cracks. Her helmet had a visor similar to Model Z’s, and also allowed her hair to roam free behind her.
Girouette ran directly to where the child had fallen. Juno got into a position better to distract the giant Mechaniloid. It was enough that it allowed the Reploid to get a good look at the child.
Just as he feared, the child wasn’t much older than the twins. The Reploid quickly looked around the area. He cursed when he realized there wasn’t a good place to hide the child from the Mavericks.
‘The smaller Mavericks seem to be under control of the snake Mechaniloid.’ Model Z told him. ‘Get rid of that, and this area will clear out pretty quickly.’
“Thank you, Model Z.” Girouette gratefully thanked his friend. He then looked for Juno. She was still distracting the Mechaniloid through some rather disinterested buster shots. It looked to be irritating the Mechaniloid more than anything. “Juno,” he shouted to her, “Can you get into position for Tenshouzan?”
“Depends.” she mused, giving him a glance. “Are you going to get into position for Rakuretsuzen?”
“Naturally.”
Juno let out a near sinister giggle. “Sounds like fun.” she mused before charging at the Mechaniloid.
Choosing to ignore her behavior for a moment, Giro whispered, “I’m sorry for leaving you. But I’ll be back.” to the kid before getting to higher ground. The treetops were the best vantage point here. Juno had a good understanding of where he was. She used this to bully the Mechaniloid closer to him without it getting to close to the child. Giro had to admit; as much as he worried about her, he would probably never ask for another battle partner. They could work in sync with barely a word between them.
“Now!” Girouette shouted once the Mechaniloid was close enough. Juno didn’t hesitate at the command. She got up close to its middle before using all of her force to do an uprising slash. At the same time, Girouette leapt off the treetops in a downward stab right at the Mechaniloid’s head. Each mark rang true. The combined damage immediately made the Mechaniloid go into major failure, its whole body smoking before imploding altogether.
With the snake Mechaniloid taken down, the rest were able to get cleared out without a hitch. In no time the immediate area was littered with Mechaniloid junk.
“Naw,” Juno lamented. “The area’s cleared out now.” She gave a small click of her tongue before putting a hand to her headset. “Hey Prairie? We’re ready for the Guardians to give a clean up. Yeah, we’ve discovered the anomaly. We’ll give you the full report later. Yes. Alright. See you later, Commander.”
After ending the call, Juno blinked for a moment (almost like she didn’t recognize where she was) before looking around for Giro. He had already went back to the child. Juno gave a few more confused blinks before idly making her way over to them.
From what Giro could tell, the child was still physically in tact, which was a massive relief. The hit the Mechaniloid gave must have stunned him more than anything. But in the stillness after battle, the more both Giro and Juno came to realize something was different about this kid. The boy’s brown hair was spiked in nearly every direction. His clothes didn’t quite match any style they currently had; what with his black and red short sleeved jacket, matching knee-length shorts, and bright yellow shoes. If Giro almost had to guess, he would have thought the boy had come from one of Vent’s video games. He almost laughed at the idea.
“He’s cute.” Juno teased. “Let’s adopt him. He’ll fit right in with our other brown haired, doe eyed troublemakers.”
“That’s exactly what I’m afraid of.” Giro sighed. He ran a hand down the child’s head. The motion seemed to make the child stir for a moment.
“W-who…” he slurred, looking from Giro to Juno -still merged with their Biometals- before his eyes rolled back to the top of his head. A pit formed at the bottom of Giro’s stomach. He never liked it when children were harmed. It just never seemed right.
“We don’t know where he’s from, or who he is.” Juno pointed out. “But you have a protocol for raid survivors, love. It would be a shame if you turned your back on it now.”
“Indeed…” Giro nodded as he got up. “How far away did you park your bike?”
“Not far.” she said. Knowing that there was no more need to be using Model O’s power, she dispelled the armor with a flash. Giro visibly relaxed at the change. “Why? What’s the alibi going to be?”
At first, Giro only offered her a genuine smile.

Y'all this is important
Like I've said before, we're in a fight to change how a system, an industry, works. We're fighting to protect idols from abuse, neglect, bad management, and we're fighting for them to no lice in fear that someday their heads are going to be on the chopping block for rumors, for something they've done in their past, for finding LOVE and DATING, for little mistakes that get them beaten and tormented by the people they're supposed to trust.
We're in a fight for basic human rights to be recognized. It's not just one fandom anymore, it's all of them. It's for Monsta X, it's for Ikon, it's for Blackpink, for Winner, the rest of Big bang. It's for the kids like The Eastlight, like TRCNG, like Busters. It's for all idols and celebrities, both past present and future.
People are being extorted, they're being cyber bullied, they're being mishandled, they're being beaten and mistreated. This can't stand anymore.
Don't tell me that "this is how it's always been" or "it's always been this dark and cruel". I don't give two flying shits about "how it's always been", it needs to change NOW for the safety of all idols.
And GOD FORBID, don't EVER tell me or ANYONE fighting for ALL fandoms to "mind their own business" or that (on one well meaning, but still made me want to throttle them, mbb said to me on twt) "we can't AFFORD to focus on other groups right now let's just focus on our group!"
DO NOT EVER TELL ME WHAT OR WHO I CAN AND CAN'T SUPPORT, OR WHO I CAN AND CAN'T FIGHT FOR.
To the MBBs that have told me to get my nose out of other's buisness and focus on ours, Wonho would be ashamed that we're not fighting for equal and RESPECTFUL treatment of ALL idols. He CONSTANTLY showed his support for NUMEROUS human rights movements, don't TELL me just to focus on him when there are kids who are screaming out for help, for idols who can't voice their protests because of fear of repercussions.
We're aiming to change and turn the kpop industry on its head, and it's starting here.
This post got longer than I had intended, so I'm going to end it here before I burst my blood pressure. There are two groups aside from MX that I am wanting to bring attention to, and that I'm going to keep bringing attention to.
The first one is Busters, a GG who's leader was kicked out and no proper explanation given by their company. If you want to help them spread awareness, there's a hashtag on twt #Bring_Minji_Back they've been tagging their posts in.
The second one is TRCNG. I know you've seen alot about it from me already, so all I'm going to say is that there's a hashtag #JUSTICEFORTRCNG that they're tagging on twt, and if you want to get more in-depth updates for their situation, please follow @justicefortrcng and help spread their information like wildfire.
It's time for a change. Let's make it.

"Eastside" Part 1/2 (Ichiro×OC fanfic)
Word count: 2,2K
Inspired by: benny blanco, Halsey & Khalid - Eastside
Could also work as Ichiro x Reader if you like. It's okay if you don't care about my fic! I just wanted to finally write down some of my fantasies before I feel like not to. This part mostly serves as a little backstory and a character introduction. And of course I had to include Kuko who wasn't in the original draft. But I love him to the Sun and back now so, he's here. Sorry if it's sloppy, I'm still sick plus I can't proof read even if my life depended on it. *shrug* I have a handful of other x OC stories I'd like to write. My top one definitely being Jiro x my OC as I'm actually quite proud of their little love story. Top two would have to go to Samatoki as I made that story kinda spicy. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyway, enjoy the first part of this fic!
________________________
"Ah, I gotta go. TDD's got a meeting today." Ichiro stood up from his sitting spot with a clank of a soda bottle that's been lying next to him. He fixed his appearance by brushing off the dust and dirt settled on his clothes. He also tightened the bandana wrapped around his right arm before waving goodbye to the other two currently splattered on the ground under a wall full of graffiti. The art, mostly consisted of random characters and symbols, except for the big, bold lettered name in the middle reading 'Naughty Busters'. It was meant to show other groups whose favorite spot this was. No one quite dared to steal it.
"Sure bro. Just make sure to return home before the Sun goes down." The redhead's words made Ichiro roll his eyes. The monk then laughed his signature laugh into the soda bottle that he's had in his mouth at the time. The other person sitting by the wall, a girl their age with caramel eyes and rose blonde mid length hair, only waved back at the young Yamada without saying a word. Ichiro could tell that her movement was somehow sloppier than usual, less energetic. He unfortunately didn't have time to listen to her possible worries. Although it wasn't the first time this week that he's seen her like this. Right after the dark haired teen left the hang out spot Kuko bumped the girl right into her ribs using his elbow. She winced in pain and covered the spot on her rib cage with her hands. Her now furrowed caramel eyes landed on the boy to her right who's trashed another bottle of soda.
"Not my fault you're dressed like that."
Kuko's comment was meant to point the fact that she was wearing a typical sailor uniform that didn't really cover her stomach and her lower rib cage. The girl clicked her tongue and brought her knees closer to her chest to somehow cover her lower torso, while hooking her arms under her knees.
"Still doesn't explain why you had to assault me." She could assault him back just as well if not for the fact that her mood was as sour as an umeboshi right now.
"You got somethin' on your mind, don't ya?" The girl cursed Kuko's demon ability to see right into people's souls. Not that she didn't need someone to vent off to, but the redhead was the worst idea at the moment. Due to many reasons she'd rather he not know.
"Maybe not somethin' but rather...someone~?"
"WHAT ELSE DO YOU KNOW ASSHOLE?!"
That's it, she couldn't take it any longer. One more tease from the devil and she'd make the worst decision in her life yet.
"Chill Chihaya! I haven't said shit yet! Damn."
The blonde puffed out her cheeks, trying to calm her sudden nerves while Kuko kept on slapping her back slightly. She swatted his hand away soon after and took a deep breath. Her eyes were suddenly on the monk peering into his insides and sending a shiver down his spine.
"You haven't told him, have you?" That was indeed the most important question right now. Chihaya could easily kill Kuko if it turned out that he's told Ichiro about his interesting discovery.
"I don't know, have I? I talk a lot of shit, ya know?"
"Kukoooo..."
"I didn't, okay? Why don't you trust me woman?"
"You just said that you talk a lot of shit. Monk my ass."
Even though her heart was all over the place and her nerves haven't calmed down one bit, Chihaya felt a sudden ease. She knew Kuko wouldn't give out her secret like that. He may be an ass, but he's a loyal friend. Without consulting her first and making sure that his assumptions are right, he wouldn't even dare squeak a word about her crush to Ichiro.
"We both know that even if I told him he'd be too dumb to understand. I actually once asked him what would he say if you liked him. Guess what that dumb dumb said?"
"I like her too, she's a great friend?"
Kuko's yellow eyes widened before closing due to his extensive laugh. Chihaya started poking him with her elbow just like he did before until he stopped his circus idiot moment. While he was wiping the tears that left his eyes Chihaya stood up and got ready to leave being completely exhausted from the conversation. She dusted off her skirt turning her behind away from her friend.
"Doesn't matter as I'm leaving the day after tomorrow."
Kuko swiftly moved up too and trashed the rest of the bottles. His eyebrows rose before he realized what the girl meant.
"Ah, right. You getting taken by that woman, huh?"
"Good thing I'm at least leaving the orphanage."
Even though she's said that, there was only a drop of truth to her words. As much as she hated the place since birth, she loved the kids in there. It wasn't their fault they ended up in that dump. There were two kids that she loved more than anything. Those two who she's considered her little brothers ever since they arrived. She's seen their ups and downs, their successes and failures. Even though she'd be leaving the place next year anyway, she wanted to spend more time with them. Cherish it before they grow too old to be treated like kids. Although she knew they'd never grow too old to be called her little brothers. Kuko looked at her as she softly smiled with a worry in his eyes. He knew it better than anyone that it wasn't good to keep your emotions in. He's always been expressing his own ones no matter what others thought of him. He's been using his emotions in his raps and from the start it has shown that those were a great way to express himself to people, to show all of your being to others. So seeing his friend block all of her feelings because of his other friend made his eyebrow twitch and his blood boil. What a great thing to be in the middle of it all. Not that he could do anything about it. Chihaya's feelings were her own. There was no place for him to meddle in them. No place to tell her how she should act or what she should do.
"I'm going back. I only have one day to say what I want to say and do what I want to do." The girl fixed the upper part of her uniform and brushed her hair back with her hand getting ready to leave as soon as she heard some kind of goodbye from Kuko, knowing that he has nothing else to say to her.
"Make sure the dumb dumb comes back home."
Chihaya waved the back of her hand at Kuko and made her way to that hated by her building. She didn't even look back as her head was getting filled with tons of ideas on how she could spend the next day. Most of the options included Ichiro so she quickly made up her mind. The main part of tomorrow's activities are going to be with him, no matter if her heart jumps out of her chest or not.
When she arrived back at the orphanage, it was getting dark already. As she opened the door her eyes were assaulted with the warm and bright light coming from the main area. She didn't take off her shoes and went straight for the backyard knowing who she's going to meet there. Some kids welcomed her back as if she was their own sister, hugging her before she could say that she wants to go meet someone. All of them were understanding, nodding their heads cutely and obediently. She knew why they were acting like that. The news of her leaving in less than 48 hours made its way around in this corrupt place. She also knew why some kids that would usually tackle her as soon as she got back were quiet today. They were so sad as if they were grieving, as if she's bound to die that day. After taking care of the children and promising them spending time together to play or study, Chihaya slid open the door leading to the backyard and closed it right behind her with a bang. The only person that could be outside at this hour was indeed there. She smiled to herself, actually forcing the smile for the time being not to scare the boy in front of her.
"You're gonna need even stronger glasses if you keep on playing soccer at this time."
The sound of a soccer ball died down as the boy quickly ran up to Chihaya leaving the round entertainment behind.
"I'm gonna be fine nee-san!"
The girl reached her hand up and ruffled the boy's dark hair, making his eyes close on their own. She suddenly remembered the time when she had to bend over to do that. Now the same boy was taller than her. Her fake forced smile changed into a genuine one as she saw his own lips curved upwards. Though as she remembered the real reason she came out here, her features got a little bit more serious. Her hand stopped the nice head massage and a pair of eyes opened up. The boy realized that there was a sudden change in his big sister's emotion and his heterochromic eyes focused completely on her.
"Can we talk for a bit Jiro?"
He somehow knew that it was going to be a serious conversation this time. Not the usual one they always have where he talks about unimportant things and Chihaya pesters him to study more. The mood around her was different this time. He thought that maybe it was because she had to leave. Leave him and his brothers behind. Jiro knew very well how much she treasured the three of them. The feeling being obviously mutual on the brothers' side.
Chihaya sat on a nearby swing, Jiro following her movements and sitting on the other swing sideways to somehow see her face through the darkness. Her caramel eyes shined thanks to the appearing moon as she grabbed onto the ropes to keep her hands occupied during a stressful for her talk.
"I'm going to tell you something about your brother."
She's finished the talk rather quickly surprised at herself for not taking forever with it. She took a glance at Jiro's hands, which were now holding the swing bench rather forcefully, his head hung low, his teeth biting his lip. He wasn't mad though, that much she could tell.
"Why didn't he tell us himself...?"
Chihaya opened her mouth waiting for some words to come out. But none would come out without her forcing them to. She inhaled and exhaled sharply turning her head at the second oldest Yamada.
"Some of his jobs...weren't exactly fantastic. He's said that he hates them many times. He didn't want you guys to be influenced."
"But! But...if he were to tell us to come with him in a few months...we'd just say no to him. We were both ready to completely cut him off! I was ready to label him the same as d-!!"
Before Jiro could finish his thought, Chihaya abruptly stopped him by putting her hand on his cheek and forcing his head upwards. Her thumb drew soft circles, sometimes going over the mole under his eye. The boy only gripped the swing harder and shut his eyes tightly. When she told him to breathe, he did so. Soft breaths were now the only thing heard in the dimly lit garden. The only source of light coming from the windows of the orphanage and one weak street light nearby. Chihaya couldn't possibly read Jiro's expression well. Not in that environment. Calming him down was the best idea.
"I'm not gonna tell Saa-chan as I told you. Even if he's smart enough to understand, I don't want to put extra pressure on him before I leave."
She then extracted her hand and looked at the boy next to her. His already opened eyes now holding a sad glimmer in them. But he understood why she wouldn't want to talk to Saburo about it. He knew that his younger brother probably saw Chihaya as an older sister even stronger than any other kid in the orphanage did. He knew they had a special bond as she was holding Saburo in her arms since he was only two years old. The youngest Yamada definitely thought of her strongly as a sister. He was already devastated when he heard that she's leaving. There was no need to push his twelve year old mind to its mental limit.
"Will you talk with him after my leave?"
Jiro nodded his head excessively making the older sister let out a soft chuckle. Her caramel eyes sparkling as she looked up at the stars. Her idea for tomorrow was finished at this point. She knew exactly where she wanted to go with Ichiro. The only obstacle now being the fact that she had to ask him, see if he even has time to hang out with her. Or rather, go on a date as she's made it up in her imagination. Although she knew full well that it's going to be just a hang out for the boy. As long as he comes, she'd be fine with just that.
