What’s Going On?

Toni: Heya, guys! So sorry that I’ve been so inactive lately. I’m hoping to fix that really soon!

I have finished chapter 99 of Movie Mode (just today), but I’m not going to post it right now (really sorry; thank you all so much for being so patient). I’m planning a new schedule that fits with me attempting to expand my Author Platform.

This schedule includes me updating one fanfiction once a week. And because I want to get back into writing my Ninjago fanfiction Crooked Clockwork, that means Movie Mode will be updated every second week; one week its Movie Mode, the next week it’s Crooked Clockwork, next is Movie Mode and so on.

Granted, this schedule may change (and I’ll update you if it does), but right now that doesn’t seem very likely. 

So, as to why I’m not going to be immediately posting the newly finished chapter like I usually do- to help keep up with my schedule and to make it less likely for me to miss a day, I’m going to write two chapters of Movie Mode and two chapters of Crooked Clockwork (so I’ll have four weeks of updates in total) and then publish them individually on a certain day of the week.

I know, this kinda sucks. But it’s better and easier for me with all the stuff I’m gonna be doing.

And, if you’re interested, once everything is set up, I’ll also be posting 600 or more word Writing Prompt shorts on my Writing Blog IinkyNiibs once a week as well on a different day than the fanfiction updates, as well as once a month book reviews (which I’m hoping will encourage me to read a bit more). Asks are open on that blog if anyone wants to submit a writing prompt they’d like to see me have a go at or a book they’d like me to read (suggesters will be dedicated).

So not only am I going to be writing the next Movie Mode chapter (which I want to be around 8000-10,000 words because it’s chapter 100), I’m also going to be writing two Crooked Clockwork chapters, which have a (thankfully) lower word count goal of 3000 per chapter when compared to Movie Mode, which has a 5000 word goal per chapter. As well as this, I’d like to write around ten writing prompt shorts to have on stock, and there’s also this other pretty big, pretty difficult thing I’m trying to see if I can do that I’m really excited about and also really nervous about.

So, overall, my goals of the next two-three weeks (or the full month) are:

- Write one (1) 5000 word length (or more) for Movie Mode Ch 99 (completed)

- Write one (1) 10,000 word length (or more) for Movie Mode Ch 100

- Write two (2) 3000 word length (or more) for Crooked Clockwork Ch 4 and 5

- Write ten (10) 600 word length (or more) Writing Prompt Shorts

- Do ten (10) of the Hard Mystery Project

- Edit all of the above to at least a semi-decent standard.

- Read three (3) or more books.

- Review the above three (3) or more books.

(This is roughly 27,000 words of writing, not including whatever I have to write for the Hard Mystery Project or the Book of the Month Reviews.)

Please note that all of this work is just going to be a one-time thing for me to get everything up and ready so I can fall into a regular schedule and not worry about missing any days. I’ve set a target goal for the end of this month at the latest, but I’m more than willing to expand that if I deem it necessary.

Some of you may be aware that I’m also writing a book, which is the main reason as to why updates have been so lax lately. I’m putting it on hold for a little while until I’ve got everything in working order.

Overall, Movie Mode updates should continue regularly by May. I highly encourage you to check out my Scriibbliings writing blog, or at the very least my Find Me On if any of you’d be interested in checking me out on Instagram, Twitter, my other FanFiction accounts or even the website I’ve been working on. On said website, you can find out about what’s happening, look at some of the shorts and that one review I’ve already uploaded, find out a bit more about my book and more. It may still need a few tweaks here and there.
