I have to say, your thoughts on the slug cats, scavengers, their place on the world, and how anthropomorphizing would change them has been an incredibly neat read! I love scavengers so I was super happy to see your take on them, and I think you’re doing a good job handling these concepts. I hope you’re having a good day, and take care! Can believe I missed this one but thank you so much!! I love specbio with fictional creatures (even ones clearly not designed with a lick of 'bio' in mind) so I guess it makes sense I would not be able to leave it out of anthros... I love a good ol' fashion 'this is basically a person' furry, but RW creatures are so... alien that it feels like you lose a lot going 100% in on that, in terms of setting. Especially when you have the scavengers and slugcats together- both very smart creatures but very very different. Its fun to think about the ways they might think of each other, conflict with each other, etc etc even with the power of communication
