the trailer for born again looks promising… i hope it’s not all empty nostalgia like they’ve been doing with all their other shit (i will say i am at peace foggy’s in it… tho i’m still so salty maggie isn’t).

now that i’m rewatching the first season of netflix’s dd i’m coming round to the fact that it *is* a good show actually, not just the best marvel shit but like actually good beyond that. i always felt it was a guilty pleasure, but honestly the acting, the storyline, the fucking physical stunts are all excellent. really hope they keep up with that in born again. matt’s cgi fighting in she-hulk was so disappointing…

no way in hell a disney+ version of daredevil would ever have The Neti Pot Scene™️. like there’s no way they’d ever understand the appeal of that type of visceral sensuality

d+ wouldn’t even handle the matt murdock as a cutting board scene. netflix dd is too advanced a show and matt’s too advanced a character*. they’re actually diving into complicated themes. d+ would absolutely fumble it :\
