Otacon x Reader
Tumblr media
Warning
Highly cursed at the halfway point. Spoilers for End of Evangelion and I wouldn't recommend that sane people watch it just to try to understand what the hell is going on. Yes there are parts where people turn into orange liquid followed by screams and upbeat happy music about suicide. Also do not look up the hospital scene for this movie (which it is infamous for). You have been warned.
_______________________________________
Otacon
Your smash main is Snake, you're a weeb or you fall in love easily and are used to being hurt by others.
First Date:
None. This man is busy raising a child with Snake.
Second Try:
The two of you meet on a fan board and quickly exchange numbers. Soon he invites you over to his house for a date. You asked where he lived but he said he would prefer to pick you up. You wait outside until you feel what seems to be an earthquake. You go to run but then you look into the sky. "IS THAT A GIANT ROBOT!" The "vehicle" pulls up and sure enough, Otacon is waiting for you. "Good evening. You look wonderful..." He then handed you a bouquet of flowers and you came inside.
Man, he really was an otaku. His home consisted of a bedroom that was really more like a storage space, a bathroom and a kitchen. "Make yourself comfortable, I'm going to bring some refreshments." You looked around for a spot to sit down, his room being like that one photo of Yoshihiro Togashi but notably much cleaner. The walls were stacked from the floor to the ceiling. You would have to tell your date that piracy was also an option. Most of it was just anime so you knew better than to touch it.
There was a small CRT and just about every console you could think of. Even the bad ones.At the far end of the room was a computer. You didn't really understand how that stuff worked but you figured his setup must be very expensive since all you had was Windows 95. You saw a purple creature on the desktop. "What's a bonzi buddy?
"You then noticed that Hal had come back. "I brought you a bento and some pocky. Only the best for my little waifu." He then blushed and turned the television off. "Sorry. I forgot that I was playing Policenauts on my Saturn earlier.."He then asked Alexa to play his spotify playlist which consisted of nothing but Hatsune Miku.
After you were finished eating, he took you by the hand. "Allow you to show you my prized collection." He brought you to his glass stand filled with various figures. It had a little bit of everything. Transformers, all the Gundams, some Code Geass. Even this weird one he called Zone of the Enders? "Yeah, I'm a huge fan!" He then looked around to see if the almighty Mr. Kojima was watching."
But this... This is my favorite." It was a giant build of EVA 01. "I never knew you liked Evangelion..." He then pulled out a copy of End of Evangelion. "Would you like to watch it with me? I have the renewal edition..." You gazed into his eyes and kissed him. "Wow..." He then turned on his hello kitty DVD player and inserted the disc.
The two of you started frenching during the komm susser tod sequence. You began to stroke him while the lyrics "It all returns to nothing" played. "Looks like someone's snake is solid..." He then thought to himself while the screams of those being turned into orange juice could be heard. "It's just like one of my Japanese amines!" You gave one final pull, yelling "It all CUMS TUMBLING DOWN, TUMBLING DOWN, TUMBLING DOWN"
________
Having finished, Hal shut off his VR machine. Ever since David had left him to go on a date with a woman, he hadn't felt the same. He thought back to when he asked him if love could bloom on the battlefield and then started to sob into his arm. "WHY DOES EVERYONE I LOVE LEAVE ME!?" Little did Snake know but Otacon had created a program where he could be with him in a dating sim. He would later sell it on steam and become as rich as Snake did from the fortnite cameo, bringing him into the spotlight. They would later get back together and become the ultimate power couple.

Hey, out of curiosity, you like any mechas? Or specifically do you like Armored Core?
Hi! I like more organic/sleek/monstrous looking mechas. Evangelion and Zone of the Enders comes to mind. Transformers and Gundam are a big turn off for me with a few exceptions.

Top 10 Sexiest Mechas
12 Days of Aniblogging, Day 4
Mecha is one of the most intimidating genres for anime newcomers. The plots seem overly complex, the episode counts too long, and the giant robot war settings difficult to relate to. I think that all of these are valid concerns, but that mecha often gets a bad rap when most people don’t even want to try it. What both newcomers scared of the genre and hardcore mecha fans often fail to recognize, though, is that on top of the messages of the series, mechas always represent bodies. They are giant robotic representations of their pilots, the visions of their creators, collective psyches, and/or the work’s central themes. The degree of anthropomorphism, the level of abstraction with which the pilot controls the mecha, the colors and shape and size…all of these bodily elements directly tie back to the mecha’s role in the story. Of course, if mechas are bodies, then they are also vulnerable to sexualization. So let’s take all of that into consideration and chart the top 10 sexiest mechs! I’ll be keeping it capped at one entry per series, and will talk about all media, not just anime and manga.
 10. EQUUS from Concrete Revolutio
Tumblr media
Starting off the list we’ve got a pretty weird pick, but I wanted to make sure that I shouted out this show. Concrete Revolutio is a kaiju and superhero-deconstructing delight, but when it comes to mechas it really plays things by ear and aims for the coolest setpieces possible. The protagonist’s mecha is essentially a Transformer that unfolds from a car into a centaur mecha. While the car body middle leaves a little to be desired, overall the design is a very good synthesis of Car and Horse. It’s certainly a better implementation of the centaur mecha design than say, Overwatch’s Orsia, who has a very visually muddled walking pattern because her legs are far too tiny and packed closely to each other. I’m especially a fan of the wheel joints on the knees and hooves on EQUUS, as well as the unicorn horn. Much as a centaur is an identity crisis between man and beast, Jiro is constantly in self-conflict over whether he can be a heroic protector of all superhumans or if he’s just a monster in disguise.
 9. Metal Gear Zeke from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Tumblr media
Metal Gear Solid is one of the most iconic mecha series out there, so picking one specific Metal Gear over all the others proved challenging. The classic boxy REX, the smooth aquatic RAY, the upright Sahelanthropus, the arachnid EXCELSUS…there’s lots of good ones to pick from! It was a tough battle, but ultimately I had to go with ZEKE, the first named Metal Gear chronologically. Designwise, the railgun and Z-shaped legs are a nice touch, but it’s the story arc around ZEKE that interests me the most. A lesbian-sourced war crime machine, ZEKE was created by MSF, the nationless nation of soldiers run by Big Boss. It ended up being hijacked by terrorists from within and nearly caused a globally eradicating nuclear exchange, which is as good of a metaphor as they get for why deterrence is a fucked ideology. Accidents happen, stockpiles become more and more sunk costs, and sometimes anime girl triple agents infiltrate your military base and steal your cool robot.
8. Char’s Zaku II from Mobile Suit Gundam
Tumblr media
Confession time: I haven’t actually seen any Gundam. I’m more of a Macross gal myself. But I felt like not having any Gundam on this list would be like ignoring Star Wars on a space opera list. Anyways, Char seems like one of the most awful bastard characters of any series ever, so I’m happy to use a spot on this listicle for his mecha. The Zaku II is infamous for being “three times as fast” as its generic counterparts despite its only difference being its red paint, but c’mon – that’s Char’s absolute moral purity buffing his ship. You deserve that stat buff if you’ve Never Betrayed Anyone In Your Entire Life, Ever.
7. Deus Ex Machina from Promare
--Promare spoilers ahead--
Tumblr media
Promare ends, as all Trigger works should, with a whole lot of Act 3 Bullshit. Plot twist after plot twist until all of the themes dangled at in the first half no longer matter, with nonstop fighting getting more ridiculous by the second. At our protagonist’s darkest moment, their problems get handwaved away and they are handed a deus ex machina of a mecha literally known as….Deus Ex Machina. A fusion of Lio’s jet black triangle armor and Galo’s knightly firefighter mecha, the design of this mecha represents their connection and understanding of each other. Yes, of course they’re gay. Why else would it be glistening in rainbow colors?
6. Terminus typeR909 from Eureka Seven
Tumblr media
Another mecha anime I’ve hardly seen.. but one that I definitely want to get around to! Eureka Seven just seems like a genuinely delightful time, and I’m a sucker for romance-based mecha shows as well. Anyways, the piloted mechas in Eureka Seven are named after Roland drum machines, with the typeR909 is named after the classic TR-909. They’re nicely proportioned and there’s something sweet about the cutesy magenta robot of the fleet being piloted by a 30-year old man. I guess I’m just a sucker for the gentle undoing of gendered associations and music gear.
5. Eva Unit-01 from Nylon Genesect Evangelical
Tumblr media
All of the Eva units are quite tall and bestial and wonderful, but it’s Eva-01 in particular that really stands out due to its conspicuous tendency to disobey its pilot and go berserk, fully unhinging its jaw. NGE takes the “mechs as bodies” thing pretty damn seriously, but throws in the delightful wrench of “what if it’s not your body that’s being represented?”
4. VF-1 Valkyrie from Macross
Tumblr media
Macross was the first popular mecha series to utilize transforming robots. What makes Valkyries so sexy is that they’re not just limited to Spaceship and Gundam forms – they have an intermediary form. In GERWALK mode, the cockpit remains exposed having not folded into the mecha headpiece yet, and the wings are still popped out. However, the Valkyire has sprouted its arms and legs already, making it capable of landing, walking on the ground, and wielding a gun pod as a rifle.  It’s kind of adorable! Stuffed to the brim with weapons and tech, Valkyries are the perfect blend of stylized and realistic robots. The Itano Circus will live on forever in our hearts as the go-to tactic when you have plenty of talent on your animation team and your mechas are armed with way too many missiles.
Tumblr media
3. Jehuty from Zone of the Enders
Tumblr media
While the VF-1 mecha is sexy because of its utility and folding form, the Orbital Frames of Zone of the Enders are sexy because…they’re designed with a sexual angle. They’re famous for their literal cock pits, but combined with their broad shoulders, slim hourglass waists, and pronounced thighs, they exude a strong androgynous energy. Jehuty is one of the most recognizable frames simply by virtue of being the playable mecha, but definitely one of the hornier ones too. Case in point: at the end of Zone of the Enders 2, it receives an upgrade after absorbing its sister frame to become Naked Jehuty, a stripped-down but ridiculously powerful mecha with gold sections emulating bare skin. Yoji Shinkawa’s brain is simply too big.
 2. Bohrok Pahrak
Tumblr media
Look, I can’t just not include any Bionicle on this list. They’re some of the most formative lil’ robots to me. But which one is the sexiest? That’s not really something I’ve had to consider before. While some of the titan sets such as Roodaka and Axonn have a certain sexual angle to them, it feels contrived, carrying the same kind of creepiness as horny OC designs. The Great Spirit Robot might be the super robot of the series, but its design is rather barebones and reminds me too much of The Iron Giant. So I ultimately settled on the Bohrok, the hivemind villains from 2002’s story. While most Bionicle are a combination of biological and robotic, the Bohrok are strictly mechanical – and piloted by the masklike Krana, making them mechas! You really shouldn’t fuck the Bohrok, but there’s just something so perfect about their design. They’ve got it all – not only transformability and an orb design, but transformability into an orb design. Their hunched-over stature reminds me of GERWALK Valkyries – it’s cute and functional! As for why Pahrak in particular, well, the shields it wields are vibrators. Just ignore the fact that they’re powerful enough to seismically level mountains, and you’ll be set.

1. The Entirety of Heaven Will Be Mine
You can tell that Aevee Bee and Mia Schwartz did their homework for Heaven Will Be Mine. They understand better than anyone else that a mecha is a representation of the pilot’s psyche and body, and that damage to the mecha is indistinguishable from that to the pilot. This is reinforced by the mechas being referred to as Ship-Selves – they are literally an extension of oneself more than anything else. By looking at a ship-self, you can almost immediately infer what kind of person the pilot is, what her position in bed is, and what her fetishes are. The layer of abstraction between pilot and mecha ranges from wafer-thin to nonexistent depending on the character. The side effect of this is that since HWBM is about a bunch of gay girls in space having sloppy ideologically charged hookups, the mechas have to be designed just as sexually as everything else. And by god did they deliver on that front. Some of the ship-selves, such as Mare Crisium and String of Pearls, take clear direct inspiration from Zone of the Enders frames. The Krun Macula takes some inspiration from Char’s Zaku II in terms of color and shape, but its face chimes give it a uniquely divine and powerful feeling with no mecha parallel. This perfectly mirrors Pluto’s powerlevel advantage over all of the other pilots, and her humanoid-but-not-quite ship-self perfectly represents her faction’s goals. On the other hand, the assimilationist Memorial Foundation believes in ending the space program and grounding all ship-selves to prevent the splintering of humanity. Their mission manifests literally in that each member of the faction wears some form of bondage gear to represent their shackles to the Earth, and even their Ship-Self has a spreader bar. Heaven Will Be Mine is ridiculously horny, and it has the vision, design, storytelling, music, and everything else to back it up. Truly, the best of all worlds. And if anyone who worked on the game is reading this post.,.thanks.

tinygiantrobotsinouterspace ha detto:                                                                      Backwards compatible, yes. I haven’t checked for them specifically, but I should. Of interest to you, I was told by a GameStop employee that there is a way to make a PS3 into a PS4. You do lose the ability to play PS3 games on that system. I will have to check into it again, but an inexpensive PS3 could solve that problem for you.
It would be nice! ...too bad I would no longer be able to play some games such as Okami (the HD Remaster done back in 2013), Zone of the Enders (again, another HD Remaster done in 2012 for PS3) which are Digital Copies and also those Dynasty Warriors Gundam games I mentioned earlier. (plus Transformers: Fall of Cybertron) It’s more likely I’ll get my hands on a new gaming platform myself when it shall be possible. I got my PS3 in..2012 for only 150 euros. But then again, the store was undergoing major sales hence why i was able to afford it. :P

Ultraman Orb x Zone of the Enders x Super Robot Wars V
The game is a month away. Ultraman Orb is one of the best shows Tsuburaya has made thus far. Zone of the Enders is the least overrated game of all time that deserves your money. But Fucking Konami screwed over Kojima Hideo and the chance for ZOE3 has been thrown into vector space forever. Imma combine them all into a fanfic. And because I always wanted to have either one of them in an SRW game... in a way, I can have two for the price of one lol I'd put a Read More, but it's not available on mobile so... A warning; I've been reading that Self Inserts are frowned upon. But I'm unable to think up of a good OC to be the protagonist. And I also read that SI-Fics are mostly okay and haters gonna hate. Or something. So yes, this is gonna be an SI-Fic. I can only promise that I won't make the same mistakes that are common on SI-Fics or many OC-centric stories. And that it will have cool moments. Anyway, the story... I need SRWV to be released so I can buy the game in order to know when should SI-Me appear in the story. But I know one way to start, thanks to Crossbone Gundam. The manga's story started around Jupiter. Both Zone of the Enders began also around Jupiter. I can have either Kincaid/Seabook or Tobia discovering SI-Me who's inside Jehuty. Not knowing how he got inside here, where or when he is, SI-Me teamed up with the Crossbone Vanguards to survive. Yes, I am basically redoing the plot for ZOE2, but let's be real; only Kojima can do a proper continuation. But there will be differences, to spice things up. For one thing, BAHRAM or anything related to the ZOE universe doesn't exist in the SRWV timeline. I'll tell you know that Jehuty WILL fight Anubis. But the one who is runnin Anubis? Not Nohman, lemme tell ya now. When does the Ultraman part starts? Well, I don't think I'll be repeating the plot for Orb, maybe I will for certain episodes, but I plan for it to be tributes to the battles from past Ultraman shows. Like both times when Ultraman fought the Baltans, Ultraman stopping Jamila, Ultraseven struggling against King Joe, Jack being double teamed by Gudon & Twintail and Knuckle & Black King, the Six Ultra Brothers vs Tyrant and Alien Tempera, Tiga vs Kylieroid... I'll figure out how to do them while the Super Robot Wars and ZOE plots are happening, but in order to make those tribute battles better, the forms Orb!Me uses will correspond with the respective Ultras I'm basing the chapters on. So Hurricane Slash Orb will be facing both Gudon and Twintail, Photon Victorium Orb will survive against Gan-Q (I'd watch Gaia to know more if the episodes from Crunchyroll were available outside of the USA, but I guess I can blame those Chaiyo guys for us Southeast Asians not getting them), Emerium Slugger Orb will get his ass kicked by King Joe... Man, it would be cool if Juggler still has the Dark Ring, he can combine Showa and Heisei monsters like Zeppandon and become them. Imagine a Mephilas x Kylieroid form, or a Alien Empera x Dark Zagi combo... But he's a good guy again now. And my ability to describe things are still absolutely shit. Fan-fucking-tastic. Well, you get the idea. Oh, he will start with only the Specium Zeppelion form, so it won't make him OP if he had all the cards from the show and the arcade game... and SI-Me will share Dingo's misery by having him be stuck inside Jehuty. The twist is that due to the differences of technology, nobody knows how to replace his artificial heart and lungs with organic ones. I'd tell you, but I don't want to spoil anything. Unless one or two of the mecha series have such tech, that is. There's a lot to watch. So yes, he'll be stuck inside the hangar and the only people he can interact with at that state are the more sociable heroes and the mechanics. Tall, athletic, buff, pretty lady mechanics who are older than SI-Me (I be 24 now). Thank you Sunrise for creating Mora Boscht lol Speaking of Stardust Memory, that entry doesn't appear much these days. Same goes for the 08th MS Team and Christina Mackenzie from War in the Pocket. I plan to rectify that. Yes, they should be older by CCA, and (some) are probably retired (or dead) from the war thanks to the Federation's bullshit (maybe Christina is still around) but somehow I'm gonna have them appear in this story. Heh, maybe have Jehuty use their respective Gundams' arsenals. Like the Dendrobium Orchis, Alex's gatling gun arm, Ez8's backpack hooks... or something. Ooh, maybe have the mechs themselves come back... maybe have a story where SI-Me discover the files of Operation Stardust and show them to the others. Giving me a good reason to have Kou Uraki and the gang in the story. In conclusion, the main plot for the fanfic, other than following the stories of Orb, ZOE2, and SRWV, is this; SI-Me woke up inside the Orbital Frame Jehuty. Neither he or ADA know how both of them are in their current predicament. He will be rescued by Kincaid/Seabook or Tobia, or perhaps any other of the casts of V depending on how the story of the game goes, and joins them to figure out why both he and Jehuty are there. Before he does that, an Ultra Kaiju or alien appears to wreck things. The Orb Ring he found glowed a bit, and when it resonates... he understood. Then, SI-Me transforms into Ultraman Orb Specium Zeppelion, and I can finally have and Ultraman in an SRW story lol Like in many Other World stories these days, be they official or fanfics, SI-Me knows who the SRW casts are (except the Original Generations, since I rarely cared for them) so he has to be careful on what he says to them. Although, I read that Might Gaine has a... pretty meta story. I think it could help. Fortunately, tokusatsu still exists in the timeline, so SI-Me can have an easier time explaining how an Ultraman works. There will be mysteries, there will be High Speed Robot Action, there will be romcoms consisting of a short-ass scrawny looking joe being teased a lot by a gang of taller, beautifully buff mechanic ladies, there will be giant robots teaming up with an even bigger giant alien (note that many mechas are at least around 20 meters high. The Ultras are around 40-50 meters taller) There will be running gags regarding Jehuty's peculiar cockpit, and people will laugh. Come February 23, I will buy that game and that fanfic will be written.
