Thinking about how Grant (and the other kids yeah but specifically Grant) had only known Henry (yeah the other dads too but I'm thinking about Henry) for less than a day before getting dropped into the forgotten realms and then at least a month later when he sees him again he has to see totally different sides of him and his dad. How jarring must that be? You meet a guy and his insane sons and your first impression of him is that he's some tree hugger granola dad who's a total pushover and then the next time you see him it's in a death game where he volunteers to kill a man by shotgun blast to the face and then leaves the dead body of the guy outside to send a message to the other players. Imagine meeting this guy whose whole gig is being vegan and a free range granola parent and the next time you see him he's breaking into another explosive burst of anger and yelling at the arena that he will fight and/or kill anyone who comes to hurt you or his friends. Imagine knowing your dad all your life and seeing him one day and then having to know that your dad has killed someone. And then you kill a chimera and you're changed forever. And then you grow up and marry a man named Marco.

EVENS
2: Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
I used to when I was a kid, but I don’t anymore. I will take the little travel-sized hand lotions, though.
4: Have you ever stolen a street sign before?
No, WTF. People do that?
6: Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
Used to (I would intend to use them, but some of them were for things we then ended up deciding not to buy), but we don’t get a newspaper anymore.
8: Do you have freckles?
Yep!
10: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Globally, intolerance. When it comes to the minutae of life, people who take up the whole fucking sidewalk and won’t move when people need to get by. (This also applies to people blocking grocery store aisles. GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY.)
14: Do you ever dance even if there's no music playing?
On occasion.
16: How many people have you slept with this week?
In the sense of slept-next-to, 1. Haven’t had sex this week, but it’s only Sunday.
18: What is your Song of the week?
“Shut Up and Dance”, which has been my song of the week for the last like year
20: Do you still watch cartoons?
Only when rewatching stuff I watched as a kid for nostalgia value.
22: Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some?
>.>
I’ll never give up my secrets
24: What do you dip a chicken nugget in?
Ew, chicken nuggets are disgusting. (When I was a kid, on the rare occasion that I ate them, honey was the only thing that would make them palatable.)
26: What movies could you watch over and over and still love?
10 Things I Hate About You, You’ve Got Mail, Forrest Gump, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the original Star Wars trilogy, Avengers
28: Were you ever a boy/girl scout?
Girl Scout up through sometime in middle school. Then I got too busy with band (and our troop never did anything particularly fun anyway)
32: Ever gotten a speeding ticket?
Nope!
34: Favorite kind of sandwich?
Ham and cheese
36: What is your usual bedtime?
10 on weeknights, anywhere between 11 and 3am on weekends
38: When you were a kid, what did you dress up as for Halloween?
Something different every year, all homemade or thrifted. Favorites include Princess Leia (5th grade), Morgan LeFay (6th?), and green-velvet-curtain-dress!Scarlett O’Hara (8th, I think)
40: How many languages can you speak?
Does Tumblr count as a separate language or just a dialect? :p
(But really, English fluently, and some French, though I’ve mostly forgotten because I haven’t used it since high school.)
42: Which are better legos or lincoln logs?
I don’t really have an opinion?
44: Who is better...Leno or Letterman?
Craig Ferguson.
46: Are you afraid of heights?
Yep, but usually just the ones I can fall off of
48: Do you sing in the shower?
Rarely
50: Ever used a gun?
Nope
52: Do you think musicals are cheesy?
That depends on the musical in question, really. I’m fond of them as a genre, but if I ever have to see The Music Man again I may stab somebody.
54: Ever eat a pierogi?
OM NOM NOM PIEROGI. I actually just had homemade Ukranian-style pierogi a couple weeks ago, which were AMAZING.
56: Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?
When I was really little, ballerina. Army nurse, for a while (blame M*A*S*H and Cherry Ames). Went through a phase in middle school where I wanted to be a lawyer (because an aptitude test told me I’d be good at it), but then I realized how much public speaking that would involve and NOPE.
 58: Ever have a Deja-vu feeling?
None so notable that I can recall right now.
 60: Wear slippers?
Sometimes. Mostly run around barefoot at home, but slippers are nice for running down to the mailbox or navigating the floor of the cats’ bathroom if I haven’t swept in a couple days.
62: What do you wear to bed?
Nothing but panties unless it’s really cold, in which case I’ll concede to the climate and wear pants and a long-sleeved t-shirt.
64: Wal-Mart, Target or Kmart?
Target all the way
66: Cheetos Or Fritos?
Depends on my mood, they’re both delicious.
68: Ever hear of the group Tres Bien?
Nope
70: Is there a profession you picture your future spouse doing?
My current spouse is a marketing writer, and I don’t plan on swapping him out for a newer model at any point...

Yep! Class, school, and district spelling bees a couple years running in elementary school, and in either 3rd or 4th grade I came in 4th place at the regional spelling bee
74: Own any record albums?
Nope, nothing on vinyl
76: Regularly burn incense?
No, but I’m fond of scented candles
78: Who would you like to see in concert?
If we’re not counting wanting to see repeats of all the bands I’ve seen live before, and the shows I’ve already got tickets to...um. I’d love to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy live, actually. Ooooh, and Walk The Moon just because I’ll take LITERALLY ANY OPPORTUNITY to dance to “Shut Up and Dance”

92: Do you want to get married?
By virtue of already being married, I’d say that’s a given
96: Do you have kids?
Ew, no
98: Whats your favorite color?
PURPLE!
