Always keep mint on your windowsill in August, to ensure that buzzing flies will stay outside, where they belong. Don’t think the summer is over, even when roses droop and turn brown and the stars shift position in the sky. Never presume August is a safe or reliable time of the year. It is the season of reversals, when the birds no longer sing in the morning and the evenings are made up of equal parts golden light and black clouds. The rock-solid and the tenuous can easily exchange places until everything you know can be questioned and put into doubt.

Mini-review:

This is the first time I've watched Only Murders in the Building while the season was still airing, and I actually think I enjoyed it even more like this! In fact, this has been my favorite season so far. This show just keeps getting better and better, and I'm glad to see we're getting more episodes. This season's case was the hardest to crack for me, and I wasn't sure about the murderer's identity until episode 9. But, seriously, everything was just so fun and enjoyable. The theatre/musical plot breathed new life into the show, even if it was already really good. And the cast, WOW. Meryl Streep was the clear MVP for me, and I expected as much ever since she was announced as a special guest star. I mean, is there any doubt about her being one of the best actresses of all time? Anyway, I'm really excited to see what OMITB will bring us next time.

Universal really missed their chance to have Pierce Brosnan appear at the beginning of Fallen Kingdom as a volcano expert reporting on Mount Sibo’s activity.

Or even to just namedrop his character from Dante’s Peak.
