Farola (pronounced Far-oh-laa) is the middle child of King Link and Queen Zelda, her life taking place years after the hero of courage returned from his adventure.

In her Era and that point of Hyrule’s history, she is the youngest Captain to be promoted at 17. Only beating her father by a few years, who was promoted at 20!

She had an imaginary friend at a young age who she described as a ‘silly skeleton with a wolf cape!’

Farola Continues the ‘tradition’ of the royal children being born in the goddess springs. She was born in the courage spring.

This is my interpretation of the Ancient Hero in the botw tapestry. Do note that i have been gatekeeping him since i saw the first totk trailer 😅 So the lore doesn't match and i don't care enough to change it :]

The run down of his personality is that he is very cautious about people. He learned that he could trust anyone. So when he first met the chain, he was completely disinterested. He barely believed that they were also spirits of the hero. They all sat on their secrets so Ancient wasn't inclined to share his. In fact, he barely spoke about any of his adventures. Only giving vague answers. Eventually, he came around and is only of the more protective of the bunch.

He's been alone for a long time. So, he is horrible at teamwork. It doesn't help that he's also reckless. As a result, he butts heads with a good amount of the other heros. I'm probably going draw a couple of interactions I had in mind.

I've become addicted to Zelda again and I also read the Linked Universe update and decided to make a Link OC.

I'm planning a whole fanfiction about it, but if college doesn't kill me, I'll be able to publish it soon along with some illustrations from the fanfiction.

Now introducing one of my other Linked Universe/Hero of Hyrule OCs, Dungeon!

I’m sure you can guess that she is, in fact, not a normal Hylian, and you would be correct. In fact, she is a mimic, hence her Slightly Off Appearance, Slightly Off Speech, and her holding her sword wrong. Her clothes are so worn out because she’s based her appearance off of various adventurers that have passed through the dungeon she lived in. She also has some treasure chest themes/motifs (nose shape, satchel shape and design), as well as some more mimicky themes/motifs (the triangles on her outfit are supposed to look like teeth, especially the ones on her belt)

Now here’s the thing about her that I really wanna tell you guys, and I will put it in DnD terms: her Charisma stats S U C K. They can’t go any lower because there’s no such thing as negative charisma. But the thing is, every time she rolls for persuasion, she someway, somehow, gets a nat 20. Every. Single. Stinkin’. Time. So it doesn’t even matter that her Charisma is at 0. No one knows how this happens, it just does. It’s like

Dungeon: Hello yes I am real Hylian I love doing activities such as breathing oxygen and walking with my leg

Rest of the Chain: haha lol classic dungeon

This, my friends, is my Linked Universe OC that has a really thought out backstory and no title... oops She likes embroidery it's one of her only real hobbies but she only does it when she needs to fix her tunic

She was raised to be a hero so she grew up fast. becasue of this she dosnt really know how to interact with people. shes quiet and brash and talks like a soldier.

She is related to the Hyrule royalty

Her spot in the timeline is after Hyrule but before Warriors (hear me out Warriors is a downfall timeline boy!)

She grew up in a Hyrule at war, she ended the war but thats what she was raised to do and now she has no idea howto be a regular person

Shes set to be the next Queen of Hyrule because their Queen Zelda has no heirs. so her and a general are in an arranged marriage.

Shes patrolling when she first encounters a black blooded monster, and a few days later she finds the portal. this gets her out of actually marrying and officially becoming an heir to the throne, which is kinda good thing because shes super not ready for that.

Because of the harsh environment, fairies evolved into little moths that live deep in caves.

oops I accidentally came up with a lu oc hero, guess my hyperfixation is a lil too strong

ANYWAY the oc is a version of Aryll, she's that version of link's twin, and her link is. very dead. like, deader than a doornail. so she strongarmed hylia into making the hero by total accident and doesn't like the chain when they first meet

she thinks they're graverobbers bc she buried the master sword with her brother because she couldnt really use it, it wasn't balanced right for her, and...well, she made her own Magic Sword. it's called the truthseeker, and it makes whoever holds it tell the truth. very good for weeding out liars and traitors, i'll tell you.

anyway, her hyrule is fairly industrialised, and her version of ganon is. kinda just a guy? like, they call him the 'tyrant ganon', and her thing is that she and zelda helped lead a people's revolution, so she has complicated things about wars and that kinda stuff.

her link's nickname would've been revolution or 'rev' for short because he was the hero of the revolution, but unbfortunately, he's. yknow. dead. so she gets that title, and maybe another? I thought maybe Song? if her hyrule was actually from a game, i'd call it 'song of the innocent', so using that, she'd be Song. because Innocent doesnt sound like a fun nickname to have.

but yeah, she has a complicated relationship with the chain, even after the graverobber thing was sorted. she'd get along with wind the best, i'd say, and maybe legend? it depends. she and wars would tolerate each other but like,,,they dont particularly like each other. she doesnt like authority much, and her hyrule is busy inventing democracy.

her main weapon is, obviously, truthseeker, but she's a very good archer. this is inspired by a quote from ranger's apprentice that would also apply to wild, that "a good archer trains until he gets it right. a ranger trains until he doesn't get it wrong." so she's a good archer. nothing fancy, she's not like wild, but she does sometimes lace her arrows with poison. her zelda is setting up an apothecary and so she's getting as many plant samples as she can for her!

Farola, the Future Daughter of Warriors and Artemis! (OC)

I would like to introduce you guys to my LU! oc, Farola! She is the middle daughter of Warriors and his Zelda (Artemis)

Out of her siblings, she is the only one who really takes interest in following her father's legacy and joining the military! One of Farola’s drives in life is to become a great captain like her father in his youth. Not only that, but she also seeks to be worthy of the master sword! (And her parents attention—)

1.) The fabric that hangs from her sword (same one that Wars uses in the comics, and the one most commonly used by Hyilan soldiers) is a part from her fathers old scarf. He tied it to her sword as a way to give his strength and courage to his daughter during battle.

2.) Artemis and Sheik both have hair assexories that dangle from the ends of their braids/hair. When Farola was born, Artemis got one custom made for her daughter. It is meant to resemble the kokiri emerald from legends of old, as it was associated with the Golden Goddess that Farola was named after.

The hand that is comforting the crying Farola is Warriors, her father!

In the same drawing, the night dress she wears is a reference to one that her mother also wore! (FIRST IMAGE IN THE LINK!)

The clothes she wears in the bottom left pose is what the Hyilan soldiers worr during Warriors’ era!
