Ah maybe my many years spent in the BTS hole can be helpful for once

1. Yes hobi is a dancer and rapper - he was a dancer first rapper second, and I feel like that reflects in his rap style, it's all about what sounds good. His verses usually sound the most/fun interesting but are usually the least lyrically dense (broad generalisation).

2. Yeah Jimin was a trained contemporary dancer before becoming an idol so dance is his main thing.

3. I would say JK is a singer first dancer second but he's called the golden maknae cos he’s pretty equally good at everything. Presumably he continues to have intense choreo because he likes it but idk.

4. Idk tbh. The music production is very much lead by the three rappers (Hobi, RM, Suga) and BTS was initially intended to be a hip-hop group like Epik High but somewhere along the way the redirected to being an idol group so I assume most were on board but idk how the singers that were brought on later in the trainee process felt about it initially. But famously JK joined BTS because he was such a fan of RM even though he could've joined a bigger company.

ok i have bts questions that i feel like i already know but would like confirmation:

i could've sworn hobi is a dancer and that he treats that shit like a military but im also quite familiar w that he raps. ik that bts isn't as strict with roles (at this point?) in the group so ?

ik jimin likes to dance but was that his main thing before singing?

kinda the same question for jungkook: does he like dancing? i feel like i remember singing being his main thing but

how did everyone feel about the heavy amount of rap they had in their music if they liked to sing more?
