someone covering/stifling with the heel of their hand. it's not quite as forceful as pinching their nose but it's more desperate and weary than a finger or just covering normally. maybe they hold their hand there for a second longer than they need to, letting out a wavering exhale against their wrist as the give their nose a second to rest against their hand, fingers pressed against their aching forehead as they draw out the moment of relief for as long as they can
